During the last year Npower recruitment exercise, applicants were informed of the time to write there online test through text messages, also to check weather they were shortlisted or not all they did was to insert there phone and the result will comeout,so phone number is very vital as it serves as means of identification. |

talk2ekpa: There are so many wrong notions and primitive comments here, that I just so wish I can reply all.
Guys, Nigeria is becoming better already, and we have to believe so, even if it by Faith, and stop making conclusions, especially on issues we are not very sure about. We are the youths, the agent of change, and we need to come to the fact, that except we decides to change this country, things will actually continue the way they are, and the change begins from us, that's when we look at issues with renewed mindset, because for the fact that "that is the way is has been", does not mean it should be like that for ever.
So to correct the notions of the two quoted comments: Please be aware that the said 27 unemployed graduate are "ordinary" volunteers like every other volunteers out there. But they are not 2017 set of volunteers. There are few with matching qualifications from the 2016 sets, but who has not already been selected.
So you see, they went through all the recruitment process just like everyone, and if you or anyone else wants to doubt that, check the screenshot below. That is for me. But I have not registered this year. I registered last year, under Npower Tech Software. But I have BSc in Business Administration, with very serious Grade, which could be the reason for the selection, and of course glory to Jesus.
So please, let stop believing in the old Nigeria... Let stop believing in the old order of things. Let us all, with hope coupled with a renewed mind and seasoned words, believe in the New, Better Nigeria that is free and void of corruptions. Until then, nothing positive will ever happen in this country.
Anyway... To all the new and aspiring volunteers reading through this thread, I wish you best of luck in your career pursuit. The truth is N-power registration this year was not as competitive as it was last year, but 200,000 graduates still made it in, and I just believe you'll make it too. So good luck. Congratulations brother. Lack of prompt information regarding the modalities behind the selection of the said 27 volunteers leads to that speculation, but with this short writeup I'm satisfied. Congratulations once more. |

FG begins training of community tax officers to boost tax collection
In a bid to boost tax awareness and collection, the Federal Government hasg commenced the training of 27 unemployed graduates as Community Tax Liason Officers.
The Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun, made this known on Friday in Abuja while briefing newsmen on the outcome of her meeting with the graduates presently undergoing training at Federal Treasury Academy, Orozo FCT.
She said that 27 people had been selected from the N-Power programme to be the pilot set of the community tax awareness project.
“This is a five-day course, and this is the first set of Community Tax Liason Officers.
“These first set of graduates had already registered on the N-Power website.
“We went through the applications and selected specific disciplines such as accounting, business studies, economics, mathematics and relevant disciplines.
“The website is still open for more people to register.
“We want to run this pilot edition early, so we can see how much they have learnt, how good our training materials are, so that when we get the 7,500 graduates, we will be ready,’’ she said.
One of the Participants, who spoke to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Mr Uwafure Destiny said he feels lucky, being part of the project to increase the number of people paying tax in the country.
“Even with the recession, when every eligible tax payer comes voluntarily to pay their tax, our economy will be revamped and Nigerians will have a cause to smile once again,’’ he said.
It will be recalled that last week, the Federal Government had announced that it would recruit 7,500 graduates through the N-Power programme as Community Tax Liason Officers to raise awareness on tax among citizens.
The graduates would be recruited on a two year fixed contract at N30,000 per month and a promise of added incentives such as sponsored professional training on tax if the programme becomes a success.
The recruits are expected to go to schools, churches, mosques, markets and other social places to educate people on the tax system and let them know what their obligation is.
Through the programme, the Federal Government expects to increase the number of tax payers by 35 per cent that is from 14 million to about 17 million in two years. |

I'm happy to announce that we've commenced the training of candidates selected to be Community Tax Liason Officers under Npower . Today I visited the first set of trainees, currently undergoing undergoing the 5-day training at the Federal Treasury Academy, Orozo, FCT. This pilot training phase has 27 graduates, drawn from accounting, business studies, economics, mathematics and other relevant disciplines. Our target is to hire 7,500 Community Tax Liaison Officers (CTLOs) in the months ahead. Registration is still ongoing on the NPower website; I encourage qualified graduates to apply.
Please what do you make of this story? Copied from a whatsapp group. Kemi Adeosun |

Law graduates also but mass com I doubt. you are right my brother, but in the real sence i belive they require the services of mass communication graduates since one the aims of the programme is to create awareness among the public. |

dantsohoma: To God be the Glory.Am through with the interview. What is all needed is just to have confidence. My first question was that, 1)Why do u applied for the position of Labour officer? 2)Name any state in Nigeria that derive it names from river? that is all. However, I took my time to ask other people particularly applicant who applied under Education and their response was,1)Mention qualities of a good Teachers? 2)Mention two geopolitical zones in Nigeria and mention two state in each.In short what u need to do to success in this interview is to compose your self, read your current affairs book very well, know your subject/discipline which u study at undergraduate or postgraduate and lastly the position u applied for and then u are good to go.Also u should know that d questions are ask ramdomly. So all d best.Appointment Letter loadingggggggg.Thank u very much once again my brothers and sisters, good evening. congratulations brother, i wish you all the best. |

neoclassical: It is obvious there is nothing like Batch B. The so-called Batch B was used to douse tension. If there was something like Batch B, all the batches would have been published and separated as Batch A and Batch B just for ease of interview. That is how it is done in every Federal govt recruitment especially in the Military. Miracle still takes place though to douse tension indeed |
