As we were set to leave Kastina, the villagers advised us to get a knife.

I bought the first knife and I kept it under my trouser. Unfortunately, I lost it before we left Kastina.


What will a knife be useful for on the road?

The issue of insecurities in Nigeria and banditry every made me decided to listen to their advice.


I bought another knife on the road as we were already on the journey to IBADAN.


We met a lot of soldiers, task force and some other security personnel on the Road.


Then something happened when we got to Lokoja, after we prayed our morning prayer.

A bill was passed recently which stated that the network of some villages in some northern states should be disconnected , some markets were short down, access to getting petroleum has been reduced, trailers were ban from transporting Animals, few markets were made to be available for them to transact.


These measures will surely reduce the purpose ( insecurities) why they implemented it.

But on the other hand, it has affected a lot of farmers and villagers that are transacting and communicating with their customers across various markets place.


This will make the farmers increase the price of their Animals, as there will be pressure in the only available market.


I visited a market yesterday, and I was surprised with the prices of Rams available there.

The price tag on the Ram I used to buy in the same market at 15,000 was #25,000


I checked all around to check prices and I was surprised with the increased , I was like are we importing these Rams from USA?

After we discussed with one of the villagers , we were told that other markets has been short down and this is the only available market, different people were coming far away to buy Rams here, people are coming from Kastina to buy in Kano.

The price will continue to increase for short periods of time, them it will start falling again.
