They do. I submitted my official transcript when I resumed. Try to reduce the size of your transcript. You can use paint software to reduce the size of each picture then convert all the pictures to one pdf file online. Seems I had the same problem during my application too.

If you can, make sure the pdf file is not up to 2MB. Don't over reduce the size that it becomes blur o. If you can't, send me a pm, and i can help you resize it.

Alright thank you. I have submitted my application but I have not send the official copies of my transcript. I have been looking for that information for over three weeks now because i dont want to send it until i am sure of Funding which i am still pressing for. I have 5 admissions already with no funding so the only reason i am applying to more schools is because of the Funding and i cant waste more money sending document without the assurance of funding

You could do a wes evaluation and conversion of your HND result and use it for masters application

I think I understand your concerns. Applying to a BSc program at 29 is a huge red flag. However, about 5 years ago my cousin Who was 30 years old at that time applied to an undergraduate program and his visa was approved. My advise is that you send your HND transcript to WES and have them evaluate it. Once it is evaluated and converted to the US scale, you’ll have a somewhat levelled playing field with BSc holders who are applying to a masters program. If you choose to proceed with the undergraduate admission, be prepared to answer questions bothering on what you have been doing since you graduated from high school, if you’ve had any form of postsecondary education.

You should endeavor to read through this thread beginning from part 7 there’s an array of beneficial information that you’ll find invaluable. A lot of HND holders have been able to gain admissions directly into masters programme. What they usually do is to have their transcript evaluated by the credential evaluating body (WES). They’ll convert your GPA to the US scale and you should be good to go. Some people might have listings of schools that accept HND-Masters applicants. Or just read through from part 7 you’ll get the answers you need.

The visa fee payment you made is no longer valid since you didn’t attend your interview and you didn’t cancel the scheduled appointment before the interview date. On transferring B1/B2 to F1 category that is also impossible. The only option in your case is to make payment for another visa appointment, if you intend applying as a student you should ensure that only the correct category is indicated (F1- academic, M1- vocational and J1- exchange students). Hello guru in the house!

Please I need your response on this;

I initially made a payment for a Visa fee B1/B2 category, I only scheduled an appointment with it hoping I will fill the DS-160 form and submit before the the interview date but unfortunately I couldn't fill it and submit due to some reasons which means I was unable to attend the interview on Monday.

my question is that; will I be able to schedule another appointment for F1 category? I learnt one can use it since the price of F1 and B1/B2 are the same. please how true is this? I didn't cancel the initial appointment, hope this will also not affect me? and also if they check my Visa fee receipt and see B1/B2 on it hope that won't affect me, though am sure if the MRV fee work for the F1 category the F1 category should be indicated on the appointment confirmation .

Please kindly help me out on this . I NEED YOUR RESPONSE PLEASE!

Is it a good school and how about the city? Are there opportunities as well?. I got an admission with out of state waiver.

GRE is for graduate studies. No school in USA will require GRE for undergraduate studies

Can MRV fee paid for B1/B2 category use to schedule another appointment for the F1 category?

It's the B1/B2 that is on the MRV fee, appointment has been made before, but didn't fill or submit the DS-160 form, and because of some issues that came up will not be attending the interview. I understand the MRV fee can only be used once more for another appointment, If I want to book another appointment later in the year can I use that same MRV fee for B1/B2 to schedule another appointment for the F1 category? and hope this will not affect VISA issuance when I tender the MRV fee receipt .

Yeah, sure, but not so good an idea. It has led to several “turn backs” on interview date previously because applicants weren’t able to get back in to complete filling the form, they end up filling another one without updating their profiles mostly....

Yes, if no reschedule has been done with it before. 1 year validity from date of purchase too....

No, it needs to be uploaded before form submission else you get a turn back without interview on the date of your appointment. The thread is full of ways round this, search for it....

Hi everyone & I hail all the gurus in the house, I & my family (family of 3) appeared for our b1/b2 interview yesterday and it went thus:
Vo (polite lady) : good morning
We: good morning (chorus)
Vo: passports
Me: slide in passports
Vo: why a you going to america
Me:...for our annual vacation...
Vo: where do u work
Me: I work wit Co xyz as blabla (my post)
Vo: what do u do (to my wife)
Wife: answered wit even more confidence than I did
Vo: have u traveled out of nig before (still focus on my wife)
At this point when my wife started highlighting country we've bn together as family and other countries she's been to for trainings the VO stopped her & asked one of the staffs (a guy) to lead us to the next counter & told him she had interviewed us...fast forward to d next counter
Vo(a guy with earphone on his ears): good morning
Wife&I: good morning
Vo: passport please
Wife: handed them over
Vo: typing for almost 2mins without asking us anytin (at this point my anxiety level had gone up)....
Vo: why are u going to america
Me: we are going 4our annual vacation &...
Vo: have u traveled out of nig b4
Me: told him where we've bn to together...wife also came in to defend countries she's been to for trainings (wife later told me I wasn't answering wit. Confidence enough & that was why she had to step up to d occasion)
Vo: returned all our confirmation pages printout & held onto our passport typing for almost 2-3mins (I'm sure pple behind must av bn wondering wat was going on)
Vo: brought blue paper wit their sorry msg& now returned our passports
Notice of the day:
1. I've never seen nor heard this b4 I mean move 4rm one counter to another
2. The VO.1 (d lady) had enough blue papers (denial papers) on her desk which she has been denying pple with but not a single white one (approval paper) was sighted.
3. Vo.2 typing for almost 2mins without putting a question tru to us... (though we blv d Lady must av communicated with him abt us, just our belief...)

PLEASE HOUSE WHAT DO THINK WENT WRONG?
