icagbons: Here is my Transcript for my F1 Visa interview today at the US embassy
VO: Good morning and pass me your password and your i-20
ME: Good morning (Passing my passport and my i-20
VO: (typing and looking at her computer) what year did you finish your secondary school
ME: (I was feeling she asked the wrong question because while filling my forms I didn't include my secondary education) I finished my secondary school education in the year bla bla bla.
VO: After your secondary education what do you do?
ME: I gained admission to study Mechanical Engineering from bla bla bla and after gaining my National Diploma certificate, I started my HND in the same Mechanical Engineering course and I graduated in 2018.
VO: Sorry your Visa has been denied.... Try again later.
I actually applied to go and have an Associate of Science degree in the US, I used my HAND to apply when filling the form. but after the whole interview I finally realized that the secondary education she was referring to was suppose to mean the year I graduated from my HND and not secondary school. So am I answered the wrong answer to her question.
But I want to re apply... I won't give up. Brother ! This is not a matter of not given up (according to your last sentence), because if you go ahead and apply with this kind of information provided in this transcript am very sorry you may still come back and say this word again " I won't give up" What is really important now is getting it done the right way like the gurus have advised you. The bitter truth is that you have been running your account years now and you have never visited this particular thread before, though you have been very active on other thread in which you yourself know this. If you have visited this thread before even before starting your processing you would have gotten all the necessary information you will need to prepare for your Visa. Because, psychologically, with what am seeing here it is very apparent you are just reading this thread for the first time. I guess you were not aware that this thread exist right? Like I mentioned in a previous post, I do feel somehow when I see someone applicants rushing to Visa processing/interview without coming here to learn(because Honestly this thread it's self is an institution of learning) after their denial they will now locate here by force to find out what went wrong in their first attempt. At the same time I don't blame them anyways, because we all cannot get things right at the first attempt ,we will always have one thing or the other that will serve as lesson to others which will enable others to prepare very well. God bless the person that created this thread and God bless everyone that has been contributing to this thread . My brother I will urge you to gather all the necessary information here and prepare very hard to get your visa at the second attempt. Truly Knowledge is Power! Cheers! |

Ishowdels: Please assist to look at this proposed transcript
Vo: Good morning Me: Good morning sir
Vo: Pass me your passport and I-20 please Me: Please have it
Vo:So describe your program for me? Me: I am going for my masters in food science and my major is animal science. My research will focus on poultry particularly on the effect of ghrelin in feed consumption and pulmonary hypertension as it affects Nigerian poultry and chicken consumption.
VO: what do you intend to do after your study? Me: I plan to come back to Nigeria and work with regulatory agencies like, Federal Ministry of Health, National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC). NAFDAC is currently embarking on a project to reduce the rejection of exported poultry products as well as to reduce the challenges of food borne illnesses facing the country. SO, a master’s degree in food science WITH ANIMAL SCIENCE MAJOR will give me the required skills and knowledge needed to tackle these issues. A lot of universities need researchers in Animal Science most especially poultry physiology. My Alma Mata needs a poultry physiologist and Professor XXXXX has informed the departmental board that I will be joining them after my study in the states so that we will have at least 2 poultry physiologist in the department and He will be able to rest as he is getting old.
Vo: How do you want to pay for the cost? Res: My Dad who's the CEO of XXXGlobal Concept. They are into importation ,trading and distribution of LG brand both home appliances and electronics. I have his statement here with me .. Here it is...Please have it. Dr xxxxx has also said I will be interviewed for graduate assistantship position but he said that will be available as soon as I get to the school
VO:What are you doing now? Me: I am a banker because that is the opportunity I got after school but because of my interest in research and academics, I volunteer working weekends and my holidays with Professor Bleep of Department of animal science, Bleep University. I have three projects under him, Two published and the last one in process. They are 1.Bleep 2.xxxx 3.xxxx
VO:How do you hear about the school? I first knew about this school through a publication on turkey in the journal of poultry science .I also made use of professional sites such as Institute Graduate centre for animal science , international livestock research institute, to come up with list of schools offering masters in animal and food science, then I came up with 3 schools I applied to.
VO: Why do you choose this University? Me: I chose this University because they offered broad courses in food and animal sciences .Their program incorporate field work with basic course. They combine animal science and food safety as specialization which is my area of interest. Also, they have this ongoing project I checked into which is the effect of passive immunization against ghrelin on feed and water intake in poultry to improve poultry production in sub-saharan Africa”. This project has the potential to tackle challenges of ghrelin in poultry which is one of the issues which have been identified as a problem in Nigeria.
Vo: Your visa is approved, you will need your i20 at the point of entry..... Me:Happy mood.. This is nice, but all your responses are kind of too long because the VO may not give you enough time to complete them. So I will advise you make your response concise by mentioning the very important part before the VO tell you to stop. This is just my opinion. cheers |

coolguy567: Please is it necessary to have all the money that will cover my tuition fee for my 4 years undergraduate study in my sponsor statement of account that I’m going to tender at the embassy Hello! the balance in the statement of account should at least cover one year tuition fee and there should be some amount left if you deduct the tuition fee. for example if your tuition fee is 10m for a year the account should have balance of 18m. This is just my own idea on your questions. Cheers |

brainy02: Tell the person to request the statement via email then he can forward the attachments to you which you will print in it original form Thanks for your response sir. I appreciate this idea, I have once requested for statement of account via email before but could not even think about in this regards. Another thing is that E-statement of account doesn't carry stamp and signature of the bank just only the bank logo it displays. Will the VO accept it without the signature and stamp? |

LagosismyHome: i personally see no issue with you travelling within Nigeria . If it even go saturday come back sunday .......but that me . the scanned copy , isnt it the same way it is gotten from the bank that he would give to you . There were a couple of administrative processing last session , so if it was me i will definitely go with original bank statements . Yes sometimes they dont ask and sometimes they ask so it based on the risk you are willing to take Thanks very much for your response mama! I will make a very quick decision before it's too late. LagosismyHome: If it is bank statement from a Nigerian bank then i would say go with only original. If its an outside nigerian bank statement then that can be explained why you have the scanned document Thanks for your response ma'am. My Sponsor is a military personnel and he presently based in the north. (Zaria, Kaduna State) So I don't know which other way I can get the Statement of down here . Health › Re: Doctor in the House: Free Medical Advice Available by Abdulrahmon68(m): 7:17pm On Mar 19, 2019 |
Doctors in the house please help me out; Since February 2018 I have been suffering from severe lower back pain, I have done several X-RAYS up to 4 times yet it's same the the interpretation is saying. The interpretation is as follows:
Mild reversal of the normal lumbar lardosis. This could be due to muscle spasms from pain. The vertebral bodies, posterior elements and disc spaces are preserved.
Impression:? Sprain.
I have been placed on so many drugs like; Sirdalud, orphaesic, diclofenac, Tramadol, and some other muscle relaxants drugs and other analgesic drugs I don't even know the names, they usually give me the pain relief cream also, I get all these from my HMO, hospital. I have also bought some myself at pharmacy. With all these I am not getting any difference at all. Lest I forget, I once had injury at the gym 2016 which I had pain at the same lower back, I complained to my doctor and I was ask to do an X-ray, same result was interpreted that particular year, I was prescribed some muscle relaxant drugs I used them and I was very much okay. But since I joined my present work January 2018 i have been suffering from these severe lower back pain again, the nature of my work I sit for 12 hours, one hour break, since the pain started late February 2018 I have not been comfortable at all. Now I find it difficult sitting for 30min at a stretch, I will have to stand up in between 30 minutes cus if I don't stand up I will be feeling the pain seriously like something inflammation at my lower back. Some weeks ago I even went to see a physiotherapist and I attended about 3 sessions but I wasn't getting any improvement. Due to the discomfort this pain is giving me I had to go back to my hospital I told the doctor that I am tired of using drugs that I need to see an orthopedic doctor so I booked an appointment with him, I met him, showed the x-rays I have done including the recent one and also explained everything I have been going through to him, he eventually placed me on drugs again; he gave me "Pregabalin drugs". I have completed the dose since two weeks ago now yet I am not seeing any improvement at all. Am just tired of everything please kindly help me out. I am just 29 year old
Please I await your response. Thanks in Anticipation |

Moranc: Thanks, you've said it all. I graduated from a university in cotonou and have been trying to go for direct master but all I get as a reply is my school isn't accredited on there list that I have to go for an undergraduate course first before masters. I finished undergraduate in 2015 although have served and am also working but just having the difficulty doing my masters in USA. ALTHOUGH other European countries offered me admission but i just want USA. Please how can I convince the Visa officer because am going for the interview soon. God bless. Hey! What I will suggest is you show your proposed transcript to some people you feel that can peruse it for you. if there is anything they feel you should add or remove they will let you know, and after that you should try do mock interview. Because I feel somehow at times when people go with deficient rehearsed transcript to the embassy and after the denial they come back here posting the transcript here and asking people where dey have gone wrong in their response at the embassy, whereas that's what they ought to have done first. Though from the transcript I have read so far from this thread I can deduced that a well constructed rehearsed transcript with grace of God has fetched so many people a visa and vice versa, but the former has been helping people. So it is better you show someone you feel can help you show your mistake in what you rehearsed and also prepare you for mock interview. If you are shy to post it here you can send someone or some people DM, I can see some people here are trying their best at transcript and mock interview, just make sure you chat the right person! cus some people here can discourage person for Africa. And above all be optimistic and put God first. Iyanu masele. This is just my own opinion. Cheers! |

kidUrbane: Hi, You would have to visit the WAEC office at Yaba to request for a copy of your WAEC transcript. Go with at least 3 Passports, photocopy of your WAEC result, Waec scratch card, N10,000 application Fee, N10,000 for FEDEX delivery, be prepared to do affidavit too. In all, I’ll advise you go there with atleast N25,000. Please note that I am speaking from the experience I had sending my WAEC result to WES. It might be a little different since you are sending directly to CSU. Before proceeding to the WAEC office, be certain that CSU really needs your transcript and not just WAEC scratch card. Some schools accept WAEC scratch card to verify your result. Hello brother! I appreciate your response, it is well explanatory. I had initially forwarded my WAEC result and scratch card details to CSU believing that they will accept it like other school does, but to my surprise they sent me a mail that they do not accept it, that for me to know that they have rejected it they have sent my attachment back to me. As I was reading the mail I begin smile cus the mail funny to me. CSU just wan make WAEC and FedEx chop my money sha! well there is God o. I will do as you said bro. Thanks very much. |
