It was enough to pay for the 1st year but I showed properties that could cover for the 2nd session and my expenses.
However, I did not explain the lump sums in my account.
Thanks

Hello everybody ,

It’s been more than 17Months here in Canada. The struggle is really worth it

Don’t give up . Keep pushing it

Please am looking for the best place to secure competitive prices for airline tickets (apart from wakanow)

Thank you all
Good morning

Please how did you move your money to Canada?

Black market rates are too high, using wire transfer will be very expensive.

Also is using crypto stable currency an advisable way of moving one's money to Canada?

Use a GIC or you can travel with a huge sum of cash more than 10k cad has to be reported to the boarder officer though so if you decide to carry cash make sure you let them know at the boarder. Then some schools like mine allow their international students to put some money into their student wallet which will be available for use when they get here you can ask if that option is available.
What school is that please?

By buffer funds I meant, after demonstrating the accessible funds required to defray the total cost of your study set all, there's need to demonstrate that you're not going to return to the country broke or safety net to cater to any financial emergency during the period. That's what the "buffer fund" is for. Those kinds funds you can use funds which are not necessaries or immediately accessible by the applicant.
1. You mean I can use some locked funds or by having beyond the required amount in my account already that's already counted buffer?

2. Can I use a fixed account as buffer also?

Now onto the mother of them all---- what is your proof of means of financial support (POF)? - state amounts to show tuition + living expense (for full duration of program) + miscelleanous expense + buffer + flight ticket (return). mention any and all spikes in your transactions (lump sums), mention any loan obligations shown as deductions in your accounts (you can even use them as home ties) --- I started with stating that i and my wife will be co-sponsoring this initiative and attached our ONE YEAR bank statements (MBS). stated the source of funds as salary, consulting commissions, partner's sales income, employee emoluments, and other personal excesses.
This is where you said it

16 months only.

chose that specific program / course for the following reasons
1. school fees will be relatively cheaper
2. PoF demand will be less, just over 1 year and i can package for the whole stay without the need to work. (canada social welfare system should in anyway whether directly or indirectly fund your study if it is not verifiable scholarship scheme)
3. minimum study time to give me full PGWP
4. demonstrate minimum time required to acquire credential and not be away from work for too long (winks)
Please what do you mean by buffer funds?

Hello guys I need your opinion. My tuition is CAD$19,045.90 for winter 2023 and I paid CAD$5000.00 on June 15th and attached official school receipt from Niagara college Toronto with my visa application. I was given a due date 1st of October to pay first term fee which is $10,236.95 but I’ve been waiting for a decision from IRCC before making more payment but since I submitted July 3rd I’m yet to get a decision from IRCC. In other to secure my spot in the school and meet up with the due date I had no other option than to pay another $5236.95 on 25th September and I just got another payment receipt of complete first term fee totaling $10,236.95 Should I send the new receipt via webform or email to them so they see I’ve paid first term fee and met the schools condition or I should wait for a decision with the previous $5000 receipt I’ve submitted before.
Did you use Form A in paying your fees and if yes what bank did you use?

I have been a silent reader who's been following this thread for a a while now. I seek to post this here because when I was on the look out for more information on those who went for Sputum test @ IoM, I couldn't find any here. Below is my timeline for my Canadian Study Permit application.

30-Apr Submitted Application
18-May Did Biometrics
13-Jun Did Upfront Medicals
14-Jun Sputum Test
16-Jun Received request from IRCC for medicals
19-Aug Contacted IoM for results of Sputum test
23-Aug IoM informed me to come for final X-Ray on Sept 13
13-Sep Went for final X-Ray examination
22-Sep Final medical results including X-Ray was sent to IRCC
27-Sep PPR request

For those undergoing Sputum Test, I advise that you reach out to IoM 11 weeks after your Sputum test requesting for your Sputum Test results (if it hasn't been sent) & when you should come for the final X-Ray.

The IoM email address for Lagos are: iomlagosmedicalbooking@iom.int & IOMLagosClinicalTeam@iom.int

All Thanks Be To God. May he receive all the praise & glory. Below is a snapshot of my timeline.
Please can you explain how to go about upfront medical and when and how to submit it

Form A gives you the opportunity to make your payment at CBN rate while the later (wire transfer) is through black market or aboki rate. The difference is much anyways.

Yes you can do wire transfer directly to the designated bank in Canada (either to the school through flywire or directly to the school if the school allows that)

Form A takes averagely 4-6 weeks depending on the bank you use.

I think Access bank, Heritage bank, globus bank and few others have good ratings.

Please wait for additional contribution from the house
Thanks

Good morning house. Please bear with me and answer my questions, thanks.

Please what is the difference between Form A and wire transfer?

Can I use wire transfer directly from my naira account to the designated bank in Canada?

How long does Form A take recently?

Thanks again

Good day everyone, has anyone paid for diploma recently using For A? Kindly tell me which bank you used. Two banks have declined my transaction now.
Please what are the two banks that declined your transaction?
