Hello guys! I need help oh! My study visa was denied on the following ground.

-assets and financial situation is insufficient to support the stated purpose of travels.
- your current employment situation does not show you’re financially established in your home country
- you have limited employment opportunities in your country of residence.

I want to reapply and this time I want to use my mom as sponsorship cause my mom has like 4 landed properties with buildings she use for rentals on it, and also my husband as co sponsorship, cause I’m married, I don’t know if I can do it that way or please any suggestions on how to go about it, but the landed properties has only receipts from way back and one of them has building plans.

And I’m also in fabrics business, I have a shop, but it’s not registered yet, but I pay taxes every year. Please what do you suggest I do? Can I make a strong application with this? I only submitted bank statement and sop in my previous application. Please what documents do you think I can submit or advice I submit? Please guys I need guidance

Read from the beginning of the thread I think you can find some answers there .likewise , scroll up a bit someone jus gave testimony and posted docs he submitted, I guess that can guide you through a bit .
If you have a business your are running and you want to go for course that’s related to your biz or not just find a way to include the explanation on your sop how the course you are going to study will be beneficial for your business.
As to ur claim, I can see u upload just few docs..lol…You see that SOP section is a placeholder for you to upload all supporting docs that would make ur app solid . Attach dos docs along with ur sop as single pdf ensure d file isn’t more than 4mb , if it’s more than that make sure u compress d file .
Upload Docs relating to ur moms property, docs relating to ur biz , marriage certificate, you could even tell ur mom to do deed of gift of one of her properties for u. All these sure gonna serve as good hometies
Upload your transcripts and every docs that indicate u have worked before if u have any working experience , like letter of employment, recommendation letter , promotion letter ..e.t.c … As for ur business upload evidence that shows you have business and also the taxes you paid , if you have any tangible personal asset upload it. Upload birthcert or any form of official ID of d members of ur Family you filled
Write a solid sop as to why the VO will be convinced that your main purpose for going to CA is for studies and u will return after completing ur studies .
As to the POF section
Yes you can use your mom and husband as sponsors provided their bank statement show balance that’s enuf for 1yr tuition and other expenses + 10000cad. The bank statement shd still hv excess balance after this deduction tho.
Get Letter of sponsorship and affidavit of support from both sponsors . They shd indicate how much they would sponsor u yearly on the affidavit of support , upload docs that would demonstrate that your sponsors will be financially doing ok In the course of sponsoring u , like payslip of your spouse , evidence of any asset he owns ..if he’s into business upload his business registration cert, taxes, coy acct statement, business invoices…..As for your mom evidence of her rental income …
Repackage n refire and don’t neglect God’s factor as well
Again, check through the thread from the beginning you would see quality info that would guide you thru …. Goodluck!!
You can also request for your gcms notes to see full explanations regarding your refusal then you will know how to tackle those flaws

Yes,she applied on July 26th and her ppr arrived on Sept 17th or 19th i guess

I can't remember anyone saying that her PPR was fake. The issue was that she named and praised her agent which made it look like a low key ad and promotion.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to her landing gist.

I love this, this is what Nairaland stands for, ever since I joined this forum sometimes in 2010/2011 can't remember the date, this hub has been my go to place for information. My God's Grace I got my side hustle and current job using the resources from this forum . I remember those years there used to be a roll call like this at the start of every thread. Please let's keep the spirit and update each other. Ire oooo

Thank you for putting the roll coll together. It's much easier to analyse.

Shall we also include approvals and refusals for this year? Approvals in green and refusals in red like they used to do in previous years? This will give us a good idea of what timeline to expect.

Good evening house. Can someone who is applying for study permit but not applying through Student Direct Stream (SDS) use GIC as proof of funds (living expenses)?

@charitojames, @frankrobben, @justmellow
@justwise and other gurus in the house please help out. Thanks in advance!

Hello Gascoigne462,

For sure, you can use the GIC as proof of available funds for your LE, especially if you have a series of lump sum deposits in your bank account to be used for your application.

If the program is for 2 years and in the case of lump sums, you can also decide to hold the tuition and LE in a fxd for the successive year, after offsetting the first year's tuition. The whole idea is to demonstrate the availability and accessibility of the funds.

Hello Bruno10000,

Demonstrate your familiarity with the program. Read the program description on the website of the college and understand the program components. Also, study your academic statement well. Ensure you are boldly able to speak on the:

• significance of the study to your career advancement or self-development;

• study features and how the study will aid your growth as a professional;

• why you are a perfect fit for the program;

• show good leadership quality and potential ability to be able to cope and excel in the program;

• demonstrate why you should be selected and your contributions to be brought to the department or during the learning;

• etc.

My name is Chinedu. I am a student of UofT. I am already in Canada. I want my wife to visit me in Canada this christmas. We don't have kids yet.

My question now are

1 Whose IRCC account will be used for the application? Will my wife apply or me?
2 Where will I upload her invitation letter that I wrote
3 How long before they approve the visa?
4. What are the documents that I need?

Hello ChineduOC,

1. You can choose to use your account or create a new one. You can do the latter.

2. If you are using the GcKey, merge and upload to the Client Information section. If it is the IRCC Portal, merge and upload to the Additional Document section.

3. The current estimated processing time for the visitor's visa from outside Canada is 132 days.

4. Documents that back your POF, home ties, income sources, travel itinerary, as well as your spouse's SP, intro. letter, tuition payment receipt, etc.

I ll be happy for u guys guidance n opinion.thanks

Hello Angela2023,

There are other factors like your personal level of establishment in your country that is also a determinant, esp when using a third-party sponsorship.

In the aspect of study progression as presented in your post, you are on track. Since you have exposure in auxiliary nursing, opting to study practical nursing will be the best move that would easily aid you to explain your study intent and future ambition.

Good morning

Please how did you move your money to Canada?

Black market rates are too high, using wire transfer will be very expensive.

Also is using crypto stable currency an advisable way of moving one's money to Canada?

Many questions are unanswered here just because some bittered people here have pursued the GURUS of this Canada Student thread with their false accusations of fake PPRs. You all put in here that these knowledgeable people here like Frankrobbn1, Makano and Justmellow put in fake PPRs without any evidence or proof to support your false claims. In the past weeks or so, I have carefully read most of their posts and I can't see where any of them advertised themselves as agents only when you get to their BIO. I didn't even see where any of them post any PPR timeline. Even the bitered person that said some of them used fake accounts to post PPRs, the real owners of those accounts have come out to say they are not fake. But because of your envy, una don pursue them commot. I just checked their Profiles now, they are no more active here again. You all say they post fake PPRS and no concrete evidence to prove your point till this minute.
And all the wanna bes gurus here (the bittered people) are finding it difficult to answer all questions here or even give accurate answers.. The people wey sabi this thing una don pursue them commot with yuna false accusations. You can see I do not post any question here, I simply read the posts of the Original GURUS of this thread. Gurus like Frankrobbn1, Makano, Justmellow, Bullstriker and Technix..
So make una continue dey drive away the helpers of this thread with una false accusations, una kuku don drive them commot finish, una weldone.. And to the newbies that want answeres to their unanswered questions, read the post of the SABINUS people of this thread (the bolded names).. Me I no be guru and I no wan be guru, I am after my own Visa, reason why I am here.. I sign out now.

Hello Cadygosh,

It's selfless of you to stand up on behalf of these guys. This type of issue is bound to always happen in an open forum. If area fit kill Jesus Christ who be revered father again.

Despite blogging on immigration matters on several travel fora, particularly on Quora where my posts do about 3.2k views and about 27.5k views, I am very thankful for Nairaland and for the opportunity to share my knowledge on its platform. It played a part to increase my growth. As well, I have never been shy to let people know my expertise in these fora where I am a permanent member.

If I spend time here helping people, I should also be able to tell people what I can do to assist them without violating the NL rules. I think NL should have a verifiable ribbon tag for its members. As simple or easy as it may seem, not everybody can package an application, write SOP/LOE, or request the GCMS Notes by themselves and that's why my Nairaland bio advertises this boldly and unapologetically.

To grow, I realized the essence of price-tagging my expertise. For testimonies, it is effortless. If people that have achieved success through my assistance are faithful enough to come back here to share their testimonies, the thread will always be flooded. A learned mind knows how easy it is to spot a fake testimony.

If I was being deceitful or misleading people here all these years, don't you trust what justwise would have done by now?! It is very important not to allow cyberbullying on this thread that is becoming rampant. This is not the news section or other sections of NL. The travel section is delicate and should be held in such esteem. The growth of this prestigious thread shouldn't be ruined because of trying to be a SAVAGE member.

Again, thank you for standing up!
