Top five candidates acording to performance in the online test and quality of CV based on qualifications and experience for every role advertised are expected to be shortlisted.

Being among top scorers does not give one the guaranty of making it to the next stage. A lot of guys that had high scores have been dropped because they don't have cognate experience and skills for the expected roles. All fresh graduates were dropped also. This recruitment is strictly for experience hires.

Some roles have stiffer competition than others. Some managerial roles candidates like principal managers even performed poorly in the CBT but would be invited as they are vastly experienced.

Circa 400 candidates needed for the next stage to select about 70 candidates.

Thank you, Leks4sure. So this talk about NERC recruiting just 70 people is real after all. It is sad that our Government keeps advertising very few vacancies when they can employ many people. They don't even have the decency of revealing the number of people they need in advance. I think this recruitment style is unfair to the thousands of unemployed and under-employed youth in the country.

They just waited my time again.

I had the same issue and I couldn't proceed with my application but I sent an email to careers.support@nerc.gov.ng and they responded promptly with my verification code.

Honestly, I don't like this long wait.
ICPC should let us know what is going on.
If the recruitment exercise has been concluded, those who are unsuccessful will at least have closure.
We already know that very few people will be employed and some of them may not even write tests or sit for interviews.
So why keep thousands of youth waiting?

My point exactly, a 5mins introduction video seems pointless, I just couldn't go on with the interview process after I saw that 5mins video thing.

I didn't do the video interview, I'm only concerned about the personal information contained in my CV and cover letter.

It's a very very long test, the questions are mostly quantitative and some abstract. It's just one of those test that test your logic and how well you can reason.

There is no time limit, so you can take your time to reason before choosing an option.

I don't think it is possible and I wouldn't recommend double submission cos it might lead to disqualification. Just leave everything to God (Our Oga at the Top).

Don"t be deceived by the advert on newspapers afterall the newspapers do not really investigate advert before publishing...... scammers could go extra mile. Just be sure before applying.

I'm sure you haven't seen/met any candidate with an appointment letter yet.

My online application was interrupted last year so I couldn't save my ARN and I could no longer sign in to complete it. I felt so sad.
But now I'm so grateful to God 4 this opportunity.
