A street tout in Lagos got N1m richer after it got to Davido’s attention that he disrespected Wizkid and praised him (Davido) simply because Wizkid failed to settle him (the street tout) during his last visit to Nigeria.

The street tout told his gang members that were playing a Wizkid song to switch to Davido’s song. He praised Davido, as he slammed Wizkid for giving money to someone else during his visit and not him (and his gang). He further claimed he (and his gang) were given lots of money when Davido shot a video in Shitta with US rapper, Casanova.

Due to this, he declared that Wizkid is no longer a member of the hood. But the street tout, who goes by the name Shoki Shitta, had tailed Wizkid to his sister’s shop shortly after the singer turned up with a top member of the hood, Baruwa Shitta. All these moves only succeeded in getting him beaten up by die-hard Wizkid’s fans in the hood.

The video of him being beaten up surfaced online and Davido decided to reward him with N1m, stating that “he just being real and wasn’t hating.” Meanwhile, Wizkid called for peace to reign in the hood between his fans and the tout.
