I made it |
was there |
how I wish to see delish holding a microphone beside ik tomorrow . |
Kslib: What da fuq?listen, am not against Melvin winning this money but I have been seeing his unseriousness towards HOH tasks since he got saved. Delish was not his least favourite when oneal was still in the house why did he use his power of no on her? |
Dannyxy: please i will beg you,dn't call melvin a Coward again!he might be gentle, soft,bt he is no coward!learn to use words well,nd dn't compare him to elikem, they are two different pple...did you remember that he nominated oneal on the monday of the week he issued delish power of no task and gave biggie reason that oneal is too bossy. you claimed someone is too bossy and u gave the same nigga chance to be HOH and deprived your closest friend a chance. Elikem wouldn't have done such a thing. listen to the reason elikem gave to bim exclusion from HOH task today. Boldly said not like some cowards |
spade: SafariGirl, please take it easy!you have just spoken my mind. you are 100% right. He is a coward compared to Elikem who could confront his enemies face to face. He missed all the HOH tasks in the name just to be mr nice guy to everyone. He issued his power of no task to delish who happened to be his closest friend just to be Mr good while oneal and his numerous enemies were available. Even, Pastors have to be bold. Am not Elikem's fan but he has given me everything I needed in this reality show. his enemies are limited now because he is killing them weekly from the week pokelo left. All I can say is that Elikem is playing the game while Melvin is waiting for destiny to repeat itself just like his previous competitions involved |
Biggie has got plans. I think Cleo's dart came closest to the dart board. And this task shouldnt have been physical. I'm not happy about Melvin's unrseriousness to the task. He doesn't want to become HOH for fear of creeating enemies. His parents warned him over this attitude. And which Nigerian song just played? The guy with Rick Ross voice?
it's these un seriousness I hate about Melvin. |
Sexy Fox: I will not find this funny at all. I will hate.if you could remember, elikem's name did not come up because Cleo did not nominate him. people that will not nominate elikem in the house now are Cleo, delish, Melvin, Beverly and himself. 5/8.in case feza leaves on Sunday the fraction will change to 5/7 which its a pass Mark. final is sure for elikem. |
sexytabhi: It seems dillish finds it easy flirting with elikem why? What of melvin |
sexytabhi: It seems dillish finds it easy flirting with elikem why? What of melvinElikem knows to code those girls. He already promised delish a role in a movie outside BBA. Am sure delish would nominate Melvin before elikem. |
what time is HOH task? |
All of you talking about weed on this thread I think this news is good for you. 6 men set ablaze in Ogun state for smoking Indian hemp According to Premium Times, six young men accused of smoking Indian hemp and gambling have been set ablaze in Abeokuta, Ogun State, by a house owner in their area. The landlord, identified as Agba, in Ago-Oko area of the town where the incident occurred, had warned the boys on several occasions to desist from their acts, warnings they ignored. And one day, just this past Tuesday night August 6th, Agba felt he was god and decided to punish the guys. See what he did to them after the cut...*Viewer Discretion Advised* On Tuesday night, while the boys were once again together, smoking and gambling in the building next to his, Agba poured a keg of petrol through his window on the first floor of a storey building on the boys. The already lighted Indian hemp was flamed by the petrol causing a major fire that burnt the boys causing severe injury. The victims, Saburi Seteolu, Raheem Bello, Tunde Adesanya, Suleiman Adebesin, Azeez Alabi, and Kola Sodehinde, are currently receiving treatment in a state hospital. The landlord, a commercial cab driver in the town, has been arrested as confirmed by the Ogun State Police Command. |
Like every other Monday, ZAlebs brings you exclusive interviews with the Big Brother evictees. This morning we spoke to Botswana radio personality O’Neal who had some very mature things to say about his relationship with Feza and a certain comment made by Bassey. Click To Watch Video ZAlebs: Hi O’Neal welcome back to the real world, O’Neal: Why thank you, even though I’m not sure if this is the real world or if Big Brother house was the real world.. ZALEBS: Oh my, are you we having a case of “Inception” O’Neal? O’NEAL: [Laughs] something like that… Right! Onto our first question; you and Feza have been under scrutiny since your relationship started, why do you think you’ve been the most talked about couple in this season? I think it’s because of my strong personality, our union made it very easy for her to conform to who I am. In a sense she was sort of swallowed up by my personality which I stand by all the time, I’ll admit I’m a bit of a tough person to deal with so at the end of the day viewers saw a relationship that consisted of two submissive and controlling individuals and I guess that made for good television which ultimately made our relationship the most talked about in comparison to the others. I came across as someone who has control issues and I will not necessarily disagree with the public, I’m a person who controls their space and Feza came into my space and when you are in my space chances are I will control you ZALEBS :It's interesting that you speak about control, because a couple of weeks ago we asked Bassey to predict the next evictees. He actually said that you and Feza were next. He claims you were not only conspirers but that your relationship was an absolute pretense and that you were very much controlling of everyone, what’s your comment on that? ONEAL :First of all Bassey is 22 years old, so it’s very difficult for me to draw anything out of any statements he makes and no disrespect to him and his country. but I think he’s too immature to analyze or rationalize any situation that involves me. I’m a very complex person that deserves a lot more than a measly comment from Bassey. ZALEBS:What was your best tactic for surviving the Big Brother House? ONEAL:I’ll revert back to my strong personality comment because when we first entered the house I was very reserved, I analyzed people and the strategic ways they played the game, so that really worked for me because people couldn’t figure me out. However, I will admit that my strategy worked up until I met Feza where a lot of dynamics started to change, I put my guard down and had to accommodate somebody else and within that process I started opening up to not only her but to other people in the house too and in terms of errors in my strategy that’s where things began to fall apart for me as a player in the game but at the same time I don’t want this to be misconstrued as me saying that I regret getting into a relationship with Feza if anything I sacrificed and I was willing to sacrifice my strategy because I had met someone special and in a way I let go of my controlling characteristics and submitted to my feelings. ZALEBS:Speaking about opening up, and just letting you guard down whilst on the show we saw you have very deep & meaningful conversations with Bimp who was also Bassey’s least favorite housemate, would you say that you’ve gained yet another brother in Bimp? ONEAL:Too a large extent and that’s thanks to Feza because at first I didn’t know Bimp that well but Feza insisted that I actually meet up with him because she believed that Bimp is so much like me mature wise especially. So I agreed to meet up with Bimp and when we met I felt a very intriguing depth about him and from there on I found it very easy to relate and talk to him on an intellectual level and I found that he is a very mature person although I saw a bit of weakness in him when it came to how he played the game, I will go back to the age comment because despite how wise he is at the end of the day he is still a 23 year old who is likely to make mistakes and yes I have gained a brother in him. ZALEBS:You’re also a radio personality back home and considering that you fairly have a following that likes and dislikes you, are you a bit weary of how your followers back home will re-act to you when going back on air? ONEAL:Not necessarily, the one thing I know about my country is that it doesn’t matter where I am in the world, I always know that I’m their son, their child and that’s how they’ll always treat you. You go out there in the world and make mistakes, and they see those mistakes but they’re very forgiving because it’s just something that’s within us as people from Botswana. I know that many will crucify me for the things I’ve done and said in the house but I know my country, only a very few will hold onto the mistakes I’ve done but the rest will appreciate my work on Big Brother, Botswana has my back all the way. ZALEBS:You once mentioned that the reason you entered Big Brother was because you believed the house lacked you, seeing that you’ve gained this experience would you audition for the competition again? ONEAL:Quite frankly I wouldn’t audition for the competition again and with me mentioning that Big Brother needed an O’Neal I meant that. I say this without even flinching Big Brother needed O’Neal so bad and I’m just glad I put it the way it is because I left my mark and I know I have changed as an individual because of the game but the fact is I’ve created dialogue, and the dialogue I’ve created across Africa isn’t necessarily a soppy one where people pretend to love each other I opened up a platform for people to really say what they feel about other countries and how one could express themselves about the overbearing nature of some West Africans. I feel that we dance around certain regions of Africa simply because they are more popular than others and I felt that it just makes us inferior and so somebody had to just stand up against that and I was that person |

Briefly talking about yesterday’s Nominations, Nigeria’s Melvin once again did his thing of nominating the Head of House but this time it was a little bit different, the dude was actually nominating his fellow country mate. Right from the very first weeks of the game, this Nigerian homie has always been nominating Heads of House whenever he went for his Nomination Sessions every Monday. It’s also remembered that at one time when he was the Diamond Head of House, Melvin wanted to nominate himself but was only stopped by Big Brother who told him that he could not nominate himself. And as if that wasn’t enough for the sexy Nigerian, in the week that followed when he was the Head of House again, he went ahead and refused to save himself from facing possible Eviction even when he had the power as the Head of House. He was very lucky that week because Africa showered him with votes that helped him to stay in the Big Brother house. However yesterday when he went for his Nomination Session, he decided to gamble by nominating his fellow country mate Beverly Osu saying that she would easily save herself if her name appeared among the nominees given that she’s the Head of House. And during his Diary Session in the afternoon, Melvin confessed to Big Brother that he wasn’t feeling bad for how he had nominated in the morning. “I don’t regret nominating Beverly.” He said. “I nominated her because I wanted her name to appear among the nominees tonight so that she doesn’t find hard time in choosing who to save given the fact that she has a lot of close friends in the house” Melvin further explained to Big Brother. What do you think about Melvin’s style of nominating? Feza, Dillish and Cleo are up for possible Eviction this week, Please vote for your favourite housemate to keep them in the game. |
During Monday morning’s Google hangout session with the just evicted Big Brother The Chase housemate Oneal, he set the records straight on a number on things mainly his relationship with Feza and his comments about West Africa. The Botswana Disc Jockey said his comments about the West Africans in the house based on their behavior was misconstrued to mean that he hated the whole of the sub-region. He apologized if he offended anyone with those comments. Also commenting on a popular sentiment which was also Dilish’s reason for voting for him, Oneal said he couldn’t see how he was responsible for the behavior that Nando put up, which ultimately led to his qualification. Oneal said it was unfair for anyone to blame him for the actions of Nando. As a DJ, he also give a huge shout- out to West Africa for leading the way in supporting and growing indigenous music across the continent. |
Michael Bonny Bassey who just represented Sierra Leone at this year’s Big Brother Africa in South Africa was the first candidate from Sierra Leone to ever advance to in the BBA eviction. Michael, a film actor was adopted just two months after his birth by Aminata and Alfred Bassey and grew up in Sierra Leone. Many Sierra Leoneans doubt his identity thinking he is not from Sierra Leone. He was one of the favorite housemates in the BBA this year. He had fans from around the world because of his funny tricks and sense of humor and his crazy dance moves. But eventually something went wrong that got him evicted from the house. In this interview, we look at his life in the house and what he plans to do in the future: SS- Good afternoon Michael MB: Good Afternoon Barry SS: First of all we want to thank you for representing Sierra Leone in this year’s BBA and for making our country proud. We are sure Sierra Leoneans everywhere are very proud of you. MB: Thank so much, am really proud to be able to represent Sierra Leone at the BBA- The Chase season Eight ( . Iwant to thank Africa and all my fans around the world. Without them I won’t have been able to get to where I am today. I want to say a big thank you to them. SS: To start with, how did you get to be selected for the BBA? MB: I auditioned for the BBA last year with a partner, Isata Othman but unfortunately we were not selected but never gave up hope and I auditioned again this year and fortunately this year I made it with Andrian Bolt. For both years that I auditioned for, I was always the first to be there even before the BBA team would arrive; that shows how desperate I was to go for the BBA. But it all started when I first started to watch Big Brother years back but then Sierra Leone was not a participating country. I loved Big Brother back then and thanks to my mum who also advised me to develop my character and my sisters as well. They all inspired me greatly. SS: How was it for you when you first received a call that you have been selected for this year’s BBA? MB: OMG, when they called me, I couldn’t breathe. They told me to calm down and they told me I have been chosen to represent Sierra Leone in the Big Brother Season Eight ( - The Chase, and when they hung up, I burst into tearsand I was just there thanking God for the opportunity. SS: How was life for you in the Big brother House? MB: Life in the house was great. I had the opportunity to meet different people from different parts of Africa, from different backgrounds and it was great because that was the only way one could discover one true nature. It was once in a life-time opportunity and I believe I made the best of it. SS: What was the relationship between you and Andrian Bolt who also represented Sierra Leone? MB: We entered together but we never got to see each other because we were in, different houses; I was in the Ruby house and Bolt was in the Diamond house. But we got to see on Fridays when we have the arena games and Saturdays at the party zone. Then he was later swapped into the Ruby house that was when we became close friends. He is a brother and friend to me. SS: What about the other housemates and who was your closest friend among them? MB: Sulu from Zambia was my closest friend in the house but am also close to Melvin from Nigeria, Elikem from, Ghana, Angelo from South Africa, and everyone else. SS: We learnt that you weren’t up for eviction that day, how did you end up being evicted? MB: I was replaced by Bimp who saved himself and replaced me and unfortunately my votes were not enough and I ended up being evicted. Bimp was head of the house by then. SS: Do you think you were a threat to some of the housemates and that was why they sent you up for eviction? MB: Yes, it was obvious that I was a competition to everyone and some of them felt threaten by my character and I don’t really think Bimp really liked me; we never got along. SS: How was it for you when you got evicted? MB: Ummmm, the moment Ike called my name that my chase has ended; it was as if they took the life out of me. But when I went on stage, the way the fans were screaming my name and the standing ovation the audience gave me made me felt a lot better. It was amazing and it something I’ve never ever felt before, it just amazing. SS: Several people went to welcome you at the airport when you came, how does that make you feel? MB: I was shocked, surprised. I thought it was just my sister that was going to pick me up but when I came out of the airport, I saw a whole crowd waiting for me outside. To be honest, I cried. I just couldn’t believe it. It was an amazing experience. SS: How are you coping with public perception of you? Like some looking at you and saying you didn’t do well or so and so…were you faced with any such remarks from people? MB: No, apparently I made every Sierra Leonean proud; I made Africa proud and all the comments I received are all positive comments. I never received any bad comment and am not sure if I will get any bad comment. Also I did a public appearance with Pokello from Zimbabwe for DSTV in South Africa and there were over 500 people that came to see us and according to DSTV, they have never received such crowd except when Keagan won last year. So, that tells you how many fans I have in South Africa. I have only been on twitter for a week now and I have 8,923 followers on twitter already. You can check that out @BasseyOfficial SS: We heard Airtel is signing you as their brand ambassador, is that true? MB: I heard the same thing but no one has contacted me from Airtel so it is just another rumor SS: Now that you are back home, what are you plans? MB: My major plan is to finish school while working on my movie career between Ghana and Nigeria because am already having offers from there. SS: Most times a lot of people have great potentials but it is very hard for them to realize these potentials in Sierra Leone. People generally don’t respect talents in the country; do you think you will be realizing your dreams here looking at how big your dreams are? MB: I am planning to move to Nigeria because am having lots of offers there already. SS: You are an actor, let’s look at the film industry in Sierra Leone; do you think we have an industry? MB: Well as you know we are growing; we are not there yet but I believe with time we will be there because we have so much talents here and all these talents need is recognition. SS: How are you going to cope with the industry’s lack of professionalism now that you have excelled beyond it limits? MB: I don’t know yet but I believe when I get there I will cross that bridge. SS: Your hopes for the future? MB: As I said, am planning on moving to Nigeria to pursue my career in filming and take my family to another level in life and above help to move the Sierra Leone film industry to another level. SS: This year has been a great year for you, earlier this year you won the Best Actor in the 2013 Youth Excellence Awards and you represented the country in the BBA, how does that make you feel? MB: I feel really really great, I feel blessed. It seems as if everything has been working in my favor. I can only thank God for this and my family as well because they have been my source of strength all this while. SS: Do you have a girl friend? MB: ummmmm, yes I do now. SS: Are you getting married soon? MB: NOOOOOOO! Am only 22years old. Have a lot to do in putting my life together before I consider getting married. SS: Your last message friends and family. MB: I want to thank my family especially my mum and my sisters Fredrica and Felicia for their tremendous support throughout my life. To my manager Desmond Finney; my friends Komeh, Sitta, Makia, Saidu, Amidu and stylist Hudson Martin Sen Sesay and a special thanks to Vickie Remoe for her support and to the rest of my fans around the world. I really appreciate you and God will really bless you for the love and support you’ve shown me. Thank you so much. |

This is the lady Beverly Osu's man, Angelo Collins was dating before he entered the BBA house. Her name is Candice Arends. She's a model and beauty technician living in South Africa. Oh, and she's watching everything that's going on between her man and Bev. She was re- tweeting a lot of stuff about Angelo but has stopped since he started making out with Bev.
