Let's continue from where we stopped yesterday, Choosing the best wedding dress for your body type is a must! A wrong choice can leave your dress emphasising the wrong features of your body and have you grimacing at your wedding photos for the rest of your life. Thankfully, it’s easy to pick the right gown style by following our guide below on how to select a wedding dress for your body type. *First* : Know Your Body Type Before considering wedding gown styles, first identify what your body shape is: *Pear* – your shoulders are narrower than your hips, with most of your weight around your thighs and hips. *Rectangle* – your shoulders and hips are around the same size with no defined waist. *Hourglass* – hips and shoulders are around the same size, but you have a defined nipped in waist. *Apple* – you carry your weight in the middle section of your body. *Inverted triangle* – your shoulders are wider than your hips, with a large upper body and small lower body. *Round shape* The hips, and shoulders will be more or less the same width as hips when viewed from the back. You probably have slightly rounded shoulders, rather than a straight line. Once you know your body shape, look for a gown which can accentuate your positive features. If you’re ready to start wedding dress shopping, we are here to give you the best! #wittybridals, #wittyhouseng, #weddingguest, #bridals, #bridetobe, #abouttowed, #everywoman

A wedding dress or bridal gown is the dress worn by the bride during a wedding ceremony. The color, style and ceremonial importance of the gown can depend on the religion and culture. There are 5 basic types of wedding gowns, they are: 1) A- line wedding gown 2) Ball gown 3) Empire 4) Mermaid/ Trumpet 5) Sheath *Ball Gown:* This is a true “princess” dress. It has a fitted bodice and a full skirt. It accentuates the waist and covers the lower half if your body . *A-Line* : It is slightly flow from the waistline down to the hem, A-lines have fitted bodices through the waist, it flatters the waistline and cascade out towards the ground, resembling the outline of an uppercase "A."it can also elongate your body shape *Empire* It has a high or a raised waistline from which the dress flows outwards to the hem line *Mermaid* : This is Sleek and Fitted on the body from the chest to the knee, then flares out close to the knee. *Trumpet/Fit-and-Flare* It is fitted through the body and flairs out mid-thigh, it is usually a narrow shape form fitting from the neckline to just below the hips, the skirt flows from the hips, straight down to the hem. *Sheath/Column*/ This type of wedding gown does not have flares, it softly cascades downward revealing the how sift the fabric is.
