Religion / American Bishop, Bishop Chris Bennett Announce Love For Nigeria On Facebook by abiolaewuola(m): 12:23pm On Jan 09, 2018
Top American Bishop make an open confession on his Facebook page of his love for our Country Nigeria, with some of his followers who are Nigerians commenting their excitement.

The Alabama Bishop, CEO of Chris Bennett Ministries is pretty excited about our country, maybe. This will be a good news coming for Nigerians who are saddened for the often distancing overseas Bishop gave to the country.
The Jamaican Bishop according to his Facebook activities seems to be a keen follower of Nigeria Christianity, posting a clip of Two young Nigerians ministering.

Bishop Dr. Chris Bennett emerged with a passion to unapologetically preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God. He has been mandated by God to preach the restoration of the dominance of man on earth, therefore leading a generation into their dominion power.

He is an author, teacher, business owner, conference host, worshipper, and growth agent just to name a few.
As the president and CEO of Chris Bennett Ministries, he travels extensively with his team, preparing men and women for citizenship into the Kingdom of God and teaching them to access their right to power, authority and rulership as a immortal agent in God’s kingdom.

Bishop Chris Bennett received his spiritual upbringing in the Shiloh Apostolic Churches of Jamaica and the Church of the Apostolic Faith Waterloo in Santa Cruz, Jamaica.
Bishop Chris Bennett was ordained to the office of the bishop in the Lord’s church in 2006 by Bishop Leo Smith and and then Bishop Byron V. Johnson now Apostle Johnson, (both PAW Bishops at the time) in Chicago, Illinois.

Bishop Chris Bennett received his Bachelors in Pastoral Studies, his Masters in Educational Leadership and his doctorate in Leadership.

He was baptized in Jesus Name and filled with the Holy Ghost on November 19, 1988 in Hartford, Connecticut.
His ministry which is headquartered in Jamaica is committed to the goal of serving believers with the highest level of spiritual care.

With Bishop Chris Bennett Ministry, we believe that God has His mind on you! Therefore, we know with assurance that you are meant for this time, and for an amazing present and future. We are motivated by your presence here and we pray that your visit with us will be inspiring, uplifting and life changing.

Considering the robust followership the Bishop Chris Benneth Ministry has in Jamaica and United states, it wont be gain saying to expressly invite them to come take a lead and bring the love of Christ to the large population of believers thirsty for the love of Christ in Nigeria.
Religion / Interview Of Bishop Chris Bennett Coming To Africa by abiolaewuola(m): 11:27am On Jan 09, 2018
Bishop Abraham Sunday is the chairman, Mobilisation Committee of Bishop Chris Bennett in Nigeria. In this interview with Abiola Ewuola, he spoke on what Nigerians should expect, as Bishop Chris Bennet, under the auspices of his Chris Bennet Ministries arrives for “Establishing of the Church” come May next year

What makes Bishop Chris Bennett coming so unique, considering he was never been to Africa before?

You know it is spreading the gospel to Africa and coming to Nigeria, in my opinion, is a good development. It’s a blessing for us, because Nigeria is the giant of Africa. And then we are going through a turbulent period, so it’s a delight he has chosen to come to Nigeria. One would have expected him to go to South Africa or Lesotho, where they are more Western. So, to me, coming here is an advantage, which gives Nigeria due honour, as far as Africa is concerned. Presently, we’re surrounded by a myriad of challenges and just coming out of recession. We have challenges with insecurity, ritual killings, Fulani herdsmen attacks, kidnapping and unrest in so many places. The Bible says, ‘righteousness exalts a nation and sin is a reproach to any people…’ ‘The wicked shall be turned into hell and all the nations that forget God.’ I believe it is a good omen, when a man of God of his age says he is coming to a country. He could have looked in another direction or chosen not to come to us at a time like this. Everybody likes to identify with something that is good; something that is working and we believe that Nigeria is working. Nigeria is in the process of working and so; I believe his coming at this time is a blessing to us. He is taking the challenge to come and pronounce his blessing upon Nigeria. I believe when he comes, he will address the powers and principality of the air. I believe we will begin to see a turnaround, when he speaks as an apostle of Jesus to Nigeria.

What happens is that in the international community, people are beginning to feel concern for a nation that is so highly endowed as ours, which means they recognise the grace, potential and blessings upon this nation that Satan is trying to frustrate by every means. I’m sure it’s prayer that is holding this nation together. If it were not for the prayer of people God, Nigeria won’t be where it is today. So, I believe there is a bright future for Nigeria. There are men of God here, and we are praying every day, which accounts for our relative stability. But I believe when Bishop Chris Bennett comes, many good things will happen, as God hears prayer of the righteous. As he joins forces with us, it gives us the right hand of fellowship, praying and believing that a change will come to Nigeria, because when you see challenges of this magnitude, it cannot but have a spiritual dimension. And that is what he would be addressing and asking that the power of the gospel, which is in the name of Jesus, will break every yoke making things difficulty for us.

What should Nigerians expect from Bishop Chris Bennet Ministry?
Everybody wants to identify with you, when everything is running smoothly, but he is just one of those that have a deep love and passion for Nigeria. You need to feel the pulse of so many good people, including Christians abroad; how they think of Nigeria and pray for us. Almost 25 years ago, I remember a missionary woman, I don’t know whether she is still alive now, because as at that time, she was in her 60s, who once said: “If you look at the map of Africa and turn it, it looks like an epistle and Nigeria is a trigger point.” Have you ever wondered why our challenges are so peculiar and so unique? It is because we are a special people, which is why the heaven lies are against us and are ensuring that God’s purpose and plan is scuttled.
So, I believe with all my heart that when Bishop Chris Bennett comes and speaks to the land, God Himself will hear him, because it is His benevolence that has kept Nigeria from disintegrating. He will make our joy full and His promises concerning this nation will become a reality and we stand tall and proud in the comity of nations.

Christian leaders in Nigeria are really supporting Bishop Chris Bennett coming. Why is that?
It is an indication that something good is about to happen. You know, one of the challenges in every nation is division in the religious sector. But when somebody like Bishop Chris Bennett comes and prays, it becomes a unifying factor, of bringing together people, who have hitherto been separated by denominational walls, differences and doctrines. It’s a beautiful platform, just like the Bible says, “How good and lovely and beautiful it is for brethren to dwell together in unity.” That is an apostolic grace that is upon this evangelist; that he can come around and church leaders would put aside their differences and say ‘let’s stand and cooperate with this man coming to speak blessings to our lives.’ I think it’s a very good development that all preachers, all leaders can come together, just because a prominent servant of God is coming from overseas.

How many people do you envisage will join the Chris Bennett Ministry?
I think we are expecting one million souls in the first year. And I know there is lot of things put in place to achieve that. There is a serious arrangement to develop the country’s faith in our Lord Jesus Christ again, cos’ the country is losing it. A special committee headed by one of the people in the central working committee of the Ministry will be leaving no stone unturned, and they will do everything in their power to ensure that lives are saved and everything goes well.

He has been submitted to the pastoral and spiritual leadership of Bishop Leo Smith, Pastor Emeritus of Bethlehem Community Church in East Orange, New Jersey and Diocesan Bishop of the 36th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, for the past 24 years.

Coming out victoriously after a massive attack designed to destroy his reputation, purpose and destiny, Bishop Dr. Chris Bennett has emerged with a passion to unapoligetically preach the gospel of the Kingdom of God. He has been mandated by God to preach the restoration of the dominance of man on earth, therefore leading a generation into their dominion power.

the simple eh is respect which we have defended with our lives, the beaten she got is her inability not to learn the culture of the area, in Saudi Arabia, you don't call girls on the streets, if you did, your heads will be pay the price. It's called CULTURE.

Lagos is a Yorubaland with culture even though not everywhere but you should know it and apply it cos you don't know who's culture sensitive.

I don't know your orientation sir, but one thing we were taught in the class room is always to be cautious of the culture of any environment we found ourselves.
Being that, he drives a car dosent make him wretch, most of the drivers drives for for passion.

I'm saddened you forgot to know that, Yorubas are entity who cherish there culture but learn this and learn your teach your friends who are not from here when they got here, people count culture and it's your obligation to know it when you are in there midst so something worse won't happen in your friends case
Crime / Re: Taxify Driver Batters A Woman By Not Addressing Him As "Eh" In Yoruba (pictured) by abiolaewuola(m): 5:56pm On May 08, 2017
first thing to do when you go to an unknown area or foreign environment is to learn the culture.

Yoruba Culture is not American land where you call people older than you by there names.

the lady should know better, if it's another country and you get the culture wrong, worst thing expected.

cos you find him behind the wheels doesn't make him a beggar. Not everyone are money Oriented. Most drives for the passion of it .

The woman learn culture the hard way, next time you give respect to whom it's given in Yorubaland.

Religion / Re: Is It Right For A Church To Own A Football Club? by abiolaewuola(m): 12:33am On Mar 05, 2017
OP do findings before you talk. Renaming a football club to your business name is a Marketing strategy to get people more aware about your business.

A club sells naming rights to raise funds for the club, such like in German leagure, Red Bull drinks but the naming rights for Leipzeig and now RB leipzeig

MFM FC is a naming right deal, the church do not contribute more than the financial implications indicated in the deal.

OP you can rename Lagos to your name and pay Lagos for the naming rights. Its a marketing strategy.

Senseless suggestions.

Govt should make Dollar available for the importation of toothpicks, Jollof rice etc?

that's the blind strategy the govt uses to gain the public support, but its more than toothpick sir.

Drugs that are bring imported for your treatment are not toothpic

Raw materials for manufacturers! I think you can count how many companies has relocated or stop working because of raw material scarcity! This led to mass layoff which lincreases crime rates !

I hope you read on Innosons outcry over the forex policy? Are innoson importing tootpick and jollof rice too?

Toothpick is not what's being imported, this is why cement production cost at N600 skyrocket to N2000, you knw the selling cost now in the market.

i cant even start pointing, you know it and feel it and it's why you protest on febuary 6.

The local manufacturing companies has been badly affected.

Self-employ online entrepreneurs are now jobless

there is a easy way to implement and motivate local production.

toothpicks! As little and ridiculous it is, do we have a manufacturing company presently? None.

hoodmenconcept:

You have raised a nice points but what about the future consequence ? we need to be a producing and consuming country but not a consuming country only and in other to achieve this, that's the best policy for now ( forex has been using for irrelevant importation in the past, so we need to block the holes, then, empower our people and encourage them to consume our local products, then, demand for dollars will reduce and naira will grow) simple

if we make use of your points, though we might be out of recession but where is the money then in the nearest future, we will be completely in full recession ? oil has lose value in the world market which is our main source of income.

So what have the government done to start the local production? Nothing!

The raw materials? Do we have them or can produce them?

The forex policy affects all

Ok, Thank God we know we should be producing our own rice and not importing but here are the questions before banning importation:

Are we capable?
Are we ready?
Can we meet the need?

how many rice farm or initiatives do the country has or have been established since the ban on importation? None!

The same rice we ban is still the same rice in the market. If the rice didnt come in again! Then we will die of hunger? So is that a good thing for the people you claim you love?

When last or where have you gotten The Kebbi-Lagos partnership Salt Lake Rice?
No place!

Nigeria cant do without the international market. The solution is to keep importing and simultaneously, start producing our own and when we reach full max and can sustain ourselves and we even start exporting, nobody will import what is on ground! We dont need to suffer ourselves or use the Hard way.

If you want to be financially free, that dosent me you resign from your work and sit at home. You will remain doing nothing and die, you work in your present firm and strategically creates your own firm and when your firm is OK, you can resign.

I myself have been looking for grants, aides to support my recession easing business, no one is responding! Things are getting hard.
