Congratulations to all those who have put to bed.

Due to high pregnancy risk after losing 3 babies birthed vaginally, first one stillbirth at 7 month, second stillbirth at 38 weeks and third stillbirth 6 weeks on incubator born at 7 month 28 weeks, that pregnancy wanted to kill me too, it was by God's grace I survived it.

If I should type what I pass Tru in those pregnancies it would be so long, but you people should help me thank God that I survived it, coz the first stillbirth I was bleeding like tap water once it was 12am with large clots of blood, d baby died for no just cause coz I returned from antenatal well a day before that day, doctor tried everything for me to go into labour no way and he said if the fifth day I don't give birth they would operate me, with high doses of hot drip and prayer, I gave birth that 5th day, but my head never remained the same, coz I started hearing voices.
Second stillbirth baby pooped in the tommy and was weak already she came out weighing 4.7kg with bastard tears and didn't cry. After that year I waited four years before I could conceive and when I did, I lost it at five month I saw show with bleeding and by day three at the hospital I had infection of the amniotic fluid and was bleeding with pain and seeing water, it is along story so I would cut it short, if I had known I would have let the baby go at that five month than passing through pain till seven month and having him die 6 weeks in incubator. I had to testify coz I had serious infection that ate up the placenta, if u c the placenta it looked like pieces of meat breaking away, even doctor could not comprehend what she saw. Me on the other hand I had serious infection too.


Fast forward to 2021 I conceived again but didn't put my mind there coz I was like wat is the use of carrying a baby and losing it afterward, but a voice keep telling me I would carry my baby, I no believe sha, till 35 week, that was when it dawned on me I would really have this baby, baby's movements nko? That one was long story coz he kicked sometimes once a day or twice a day and that's it, I don't let it bother me coz if I do I would shift my gaze from Jesus the author and finisher of my faith to physical symptoms.

My cervix started dilating at 6 month even doctor was scared for me he didn't tell me what he saw in scan he just told me to go, I went nd embark on prayer, 7 month the same cervix was dilating that I was walking like I had ball in my vagina, I cried I prayed, I told God this would be that last time I would pray concerning this issue And that was it, cervix changed, when I go to antenatal I don't sit properly coz of incompetent cervix nobody knows what I was passing through.

Due to these history doctor has to carry elective Cs in 36 weeks 6 days and my rainbow baby came out weighing 2.8kg, and he blessed me again with another one September 16th elective Cs at 37 weeks 3 days weighing 2.7kg as doctor don't want to take risk at all.

Na so so red pen full my hospital file.

This is my birth story, it's more than this but mouth and body no go fit talk wetin e c finish.
I came, I saw, I conquered, God is great.

No matter what u are passing through it has an expiry date.

God is great, she has no problem at all eat and sleep then shine eyes lol, never knew it was a princess till 9 month. No wonder I wowo.

After I had my twin in 2020, I really was not ready for another child Atleast not now.
But I took in last year December and started another journey. First trimester came with vomiting and all but it also came with new jobs 😁 because I am a social media marketer/manager..
2nd trimester came and I was still pushing, constantly visiting the hospital for either malaria, mostly malaria jnfact.
Then early trimester, I fell from the staircase. Kaiii it was not funny, I landed with my waist(which is still paining me till now) had bruises all over my body. I rushed to the Hospital, thankfully nothing was wrong with my baby.

Congratulations, thanks for the BS, I never knew that babies who pooed in the tummy could survive o, wow thank God.

She is 15 weeks gone. I am really worried with this cold issue. Scan of last week says baby is active.

She should test for malaria and also take alot of water, with plenty rest, paracetamol too and don't forget to c her doctor if symptoms persist or become too much to bear.

Mama ,what was the reason for the 1st CS ? Was it medical reason or emergency. Why I am asking is because I heard that there are months gap before trying VBAC.
I am also asking to know because of myself although mine was pelvic issue.

Reason for the first Cs was past medical history , I have 3 losses, I stillbirth at 7 month, stillbirth at 38 weeks, baby was in distress before I went into labour and d midwives didnt detect it she passed meconium and gave up, premature at 7 month stayed in incubator for 6 weeks before giving up, so doctor said no chances baby should be brought out at 37 weeks and I agreed, now he don't want me to try vbac to avoid stories that touch. Took in 15 month after d first Cs.

I'm not experiencing this ,just Braxton hicks.
I'll be 36 weeks on Friday.
Maybe you should check with your hospital.

October mamas how far, good day house, who is experiencing this Braxton Hicks like me, it's so painful and accompanied with menstrual pain, sometimes tummy would be hard and accompanied with menstrual pain,sometimes it would relax still accompanied with menstrual pain, but towards evening as of now it has subsided, just Braxton Hicks, I am scared a little but I trust God, coz during dose period baby wulld just be quiet, when it stops, baby would start moving again, no show nothing just painful Braxton Hicks, is it normal, my first was CS so don't know if its labour.

I will be 37 weeks on Wednesday.

Please what could be responsible for this, implication and the way out.

Let her go to the hospital they will give her drugs or injection to stop the dropping, they might ask her to take bed rest at home.

Hello mothers I am new here and registering for Oct, I thank God for d journey so far, but last two weeks while I went for antenatal, I was told that my cervical length was 2.9cm instead of 4 or 4.5cm, the gynea said though it's not an emergency till it's 2.5cm but advised I do cerclage Incase it spins out of control, I asked if there is any drug that I can take to help elongate the cervix and he prescribed Duphaston morning and NYT.
Now my worry is that, when ever I didn't take the Duphaston as I am supposed to take it, I would start having the feeling of my cervix opening and when I take the drug it would stop, everything would be alright, I am confused if I should go for cerclage or continue seriously with the drug, coz even with the cerclage I would still take the drug or I should simply take the drug.
Those that are on cerclage is it holding for u guys? Abeg help a concerned mum, it's my first time posting here but I am dying in worry, and put my name for October.

Hi,mama. He is gaining weight well. Since you you dont lactate very well,please do both formular and breastmilk. The baby will gain weight even if you give formular alone sef. My first started taking formular from day 1; I wanted to do ebf but i struggled and struggled to produce breastmilk to no avail. I had to do both as breastmilk couldnt sustain him. If your baby takes formular,he would need to drink water because of constipation.
On a lighter mode,i told my hubby we havent bought formular when we were baby shopping, his response was 'ki lo se oyan e?' (what happened to your breast?) . I have zeroed my mind that if i lactate well,fine. If i dont,fine!

Just ensure to start feeding ur baby properly on demand or every 2-3hrs with breastmilk and formula.
Take note of the weight now and then check again in another say 2 weeks...The difference in weight will let U know how his feeding is impacting his weight.

1] is he suppose to weigh more than this? at 6 week he was 4.9kg and another question I found out that sometimes I wouldn't lactate well and he would be hungry so I do feed him with Nan milk at least till I eat and lactate well

2] is it ok if I substitute breastmilk and formula? Although I seriously want to do Ebf.

There is nothing wrong in giving formula alongside breastmilk if u have lactation issues
The most important thing is that your baby is eating well and gaining the adequate weight.
