This is the nonsense that's being faced by millions of Nigerians. I had a conversation with a POS operator and he narrated how a customer came to make withdrawals and was making the transfer using USSD. The transaction failed and she repeated it 13x because she needed the money that she wants to withdraw urgently. She didn't know that di were telecom/bank has debited her 13x when she initiated the fourteenth time she was told "insufficient fund" because almost ₦100 has been debited from the poor woman's account (if this is not madness, i don't know what we should call it). The POS operator said the woman started crying in his office. Now i wasn't there when it happened but i understood the frustration and pain that the woman was going through. The POS operator had to let go give her ₦100 to complete her money because the ₦6,000 wey she come withdraw dey very important. I keep saying it that telecom and banking sectors are the two sectors that steals directly from Nigerians (customers). |
Ministry of foreign affairs should try to make sure that he gets justice. How can you keep a human in detention when he has no crime to answer for? This is bad. Nigerian government shouldn't let this slide. Las las i sure sey di accuser dey lie, en sure me sey dem wan just show de pastor shage. |
Why do these people behave this way? Immediately they leave office, they suddenly know the solution to the problem. Just imagine the unintelligent statement by a former CAS. The economic implications can't even make PBAT to consider it. |
Nigeria's economic growth depends on citizens holding their state governors accountable. The federal government is taking the right steps by allocating more funds to the states and strengthening local governments. We need more from the state government. |
![]() Wait ooo So people actually dey take dis guy serious. How can anyone take someone that said "you should build hotel instead of house" serious? Everything the guy says and stands for are things that can actually destroy a man. I really don't understand how people take content creators serious. Guy man wey dey exchange cruise for Google and Meta money na en people dey take serious. Wonders truly shall never end. |
Na dem!!! Umunna ndi arumala!!! Even the dead no fit rest in peace because of your right. They'll frustrate every effort of poor people to bury their loved ones. Na poverty dey cause all dis kind nonsense. |

It is simple as ABC. If you didn't meet her as a virgin, never agree to their deception. You can't be sharing the cookies and when it gets to my turn, you're now telling me "no sex till after wedding" . Seriously, It can work if that place has not been tampered. Some of them that claim virgin these days are not really virgins, some are taking it in their a** hole yet be claiming virgin. Bros, if you no meet her as a virgin, no pay bride price ooo. |
These Ghanaians sef. Always talking about Nigeria, we live rent free in their minds. Do they think the Naira and Cedis have the same value? There’s no way MultiChoice (DSTV and GOTV) would charge the same subscription fees in both countries. If they want things to be equal, they should also tell car dealers, grocery stores, electronics sellers etc to match Nigerian prices. Those people wey dey compare Nigeria to Ghana and other small countries wey dey West Africa (ECOWAS) neva travel go there before. Yes, there are countries in Africa that are better than Nigeria but they're not in West Africa. Our money and their money no be mate. Nigeria mate no dey West Africa na.... Shey you dey waine ni!!! |
After after indigenous people of any state in Nigeria (especially in Southern Nigeria, Igbos are the second most populated people you'll fin in any state (especially in Southern Nigeria) |
This guy that year. He was the captain of Yemi Tella's team that won under17 world championship. Most of the players in that tournament didn't live up to expectation. The likes of Chrisantus Macaulay, Luckman Haruna and Rabiu Ibrahim got a nod to play for the super eagle but dem flop. That's why I respect Mikel Obi and Victor Osimhen because na only dem try after doing well at the youth level of Nigeria national team |
Africa has never had a real say in major global decisions. The only reason the world pays attention to Africa is because of its natural resources, not because Africa earned them, but because they were simply there by nature. Black people are the only race still disrespected just because of their skin color and all these are possible because our leaders are always begging them please give us this and give us that, please come and invest, instead of negotiating even in the case of negotiations we're always at the losing end of the negotiations. Africa and its leaders need to wake up and start making smart choices that will give the continent a real seat at the table when important decisions are being made. |
What's the fuse about what this so called pellar did? He's just a content creator and drawing attention to himself is what he preys on which in turn gives him money. Even dis op post dey give am wetin en dey find. We keep talking about how how someone that's not well refined and without education as if he's the first money miss Road. Some are even making it look like educationed people no longer make money. Before you mention 1 uneducated big man/woman, you must mention at least 10 educated big man/woman. When I mentioned educated, I'm not talking about having a degree or PhD. For dis life, money miss road go always dey and de only thing we dey give dem orgasm na de small money we dem get, way dem no go fit gurn to generational wealth. |
Number 1 has to be between Egypt or South Africa. My bet is on Egypt. |
No Egypt, Morocco, South Africa!!! This goes a long way to show you the real giants of Africa. |
They're going for his career. I just hope this doesn't get serious for him because arsenal haven't given him a contract and any contract he signs be it in England/Europe/Asia is going to be the contract that takes him to retirement. |
![]() Just look at them talking about "your money is our money, but my money is my money. "Men aren’t asking you to hand over your money. They’re simply asking for your support. A woman might claim she’s been supportive, but if you check where her money is actually going under that pretense, you’ll find it’s spent on things that serve her agenda. Why should anyone say that a man who splits bills with his wife (not necessarily 50/50, it could be 70/30 or even 90/10) is "not qualified to be a traditional man"? They keep pushing this "work and no work" narrative as if women before them never worked. Long before so-called civilization, our mothers were farmers growing vegetables and food for cooking while most men hunted or farmed yams and crops requiring more strength. So where is all this wokeness coming from? For example, you tell your woman you need to renew the rent and pay school fees. She’ll say, "I don’t have money." But as soon as you come up with the funds, she suddenly buys a new school bag (even though the old one is still fine) or renews the pay TV subscription. Madam, be truly supportive. Let the man lead without constant complaints. They say, "Men should be men," but when there’s noise outside at night, guess who they wake up to handle it? When the pipe is broken and needs quick fix who do dey call? When there's need to lift heavy equipment, who do they call? Women should be women and men should be men Before you marry, learn to be a supportive woman. Let the man lead. Stop thinking marriage will rescue you from poverty. And above all, keep your purity for your husband there’s a reason for it. Make una continue to dey deceive una self. Too much talk no dey full basket. You see all dis babes wey dey make noise online, las las na marriage go humble dem. no be by cho cho cho. |
![]() A similar situation happened to me, but it involved both my Airtel and MTN numbers. In my case, I retrieved the numbers a week before traveling, only to return for NYSC and discover I could no longer access either line. When I visited their offices, I was told my name wasn’t the one used to register the lines even though I clearly remembered the MTN and Airtel offices that I got those phone numbers (sim cards). At the time, the NIN policy hadn’t been implemented yet, but I had all my verification details: BVN, bank alerts, emails, and social media accounts linked to the numbers. They explained that telecom companies have the right to resell any inactive number after six months. They also said I should have opted for a "keep my number" service (abi na wetin dem dey call am dat year sef) if I knew I’d be away for a long time. The worst part? I was advised to negotiate with the new owners of the lines, but both of them were unreachable—making the situation even more frustrating. I just vex start to dey change all of them small small starting from BVN to mobile banking, some socials but na two emails wey i no recover vex me pass because i no put recovery (alternate emails). Funny thing is that i bought new lines (MTN and Airtel). Na so people just dey send different Police identity numbers for verification. Omo i just troway the Airtel sim. I understand de frustration of de man and truth be sey MTN and Airtel do me dirty dat year. Omo of dis country waine you ehhhh you go grow gray hair overnight. |
Well said, Pharmacist! You’ve hit the nail on the head. Medical authorities must address this issue patients have the right to know exactly what they’re taking. A prime example is Kolo Toure, who failed a drug test after unknowingly consuming his wife’s supplements, which contained a banned substance in football. Patients should always be informed about their medications so they can monitor their bodies’ responses and make informed decisions about future use. Some people dey react to Chloroquine (en dey scratch dem for body) so if I no know sey na chloroquine hospital give me, how I wan tak avoid am next time. |
Those who choose self-deception may continue to live in denial, but as for me and my household, we will always consider a woman’s past before paying her bride price. A woman’s purity is her pride and should be a cherished gift to her husband. You cannot live recklessly and expect no consequences. Men should no longer bear the burden of repairing what they did not break. Na de past of woman na en mata and na man future mata. If you know you know.

This is ridiculous! No one sexualizes women more than women themselves. Just look at social media, you’ll see countless girls and women posting provocative content, yet the moment a man responds in a sexual way, they act like victims. It’s the same as men who attract gold diggers by flaunting wealth and then complain when women expect them to spend. If women openly sexualize themselves, they shouldn’t be surprised or angry when men react accordingly. Instead of blaming men, their frustration should be directed at other women. Seriously, who’s the one posting videos shaking their breasts and backsides online? It’s not men! Na podcast dey cause all dis nonsense talk. If she really serious sey she wan be advocate for women make she start to dey tell her colleagues wey dey post sexual content first, na dat time we go take her seriously. |

After weeks without his father, he’ll begin asking questions, assuming dad just stepped out. Even if they explain that he’s gone forever, he likely won’t truly understand death until he’s much older. I know this confusion too well. When I was a child, my family hid a loss from us. Relatives flooded our house, but we were kept in our rooms, told it was just a cousin’s birthday party. Even when we were sent to my uncle’s and I saw the somber faces of grieving guests, the truth never clicked. It was worse because the secrecy left me with questions instead of comfort. I pray he holds onto his memories of his dad until adulthood. May the departed soul rest in peace. |
Most of those criticizing Peter Obi are neither Catholics nor Christians, yet they are quick to attack him over matters of faith meanwhile he is a recognized Knight of the Church. The hypocrisy of these people is glaring. |
The legislature is arguably the laziest and most ineffective arm of government in Nigeria, yet it should be the most vital and the very foundation of democracy. How can they even entertain such absurd ideas? I watched the debate in the House, where one lawmaker attempted to steer the discussion in the right direction. He suggested creating voter incentives and launching public awareness campaigns to educate Nigerians on the importance of voting. But what happened? The Speaker shut him down without a second thought. This is exactly why Nigerians must be more deliberate about who we elect to represent us in the National and State Assemblies. Many of these so-called lawmakers are not just incompetent, they’re semi-literate at best, or educated illiterates whose greed has completely overshadowed any semblance of rational thinking. Disgraceful! |
This talk of a coalition is nothing but noise. Right now, there’s no alliance strong enough to challenge PBAT’s hold on power. If you honestly believe that any individual or group can form a coalition in less than 16 months before the 2027 elections, capable of wresting power from PBAT, then you might just be the biggest joker of the century. This is a leader who fought his way to the top without presidential advantage. Just look at how politicians are flocking to the APC in droves. Let’s be realistic, 2027 is already a done deal. If anyone wants to discuss elections, they should be looking ahead to 2031 because PBAT will complete his two terms in office. Unless sey you wan dey waine yaself but de truth be sey, dat one dey. |
I may be wrong, but I believe this is propaganda because begging is not a thriving practice in any Igbo community. The average Igbo man or woman rarely gives money to beggars. An Igbo person might give you money as a friend or someone they know, but not simply because you're a beggar. Unless, of course, the beggars in question are non-Igbo. If you’ve ever interacted closely with Igbo people, you’d understand exactly what I mean. |
mrvitalis:Why do people always compare Nigerian professionals (especially doctors) to those in foreign countries? Do we use Euros, Pounds, or Dollars in Nigeria? Why not compare the cost of medical school fees in those countries to what is paid here? A starting salary of ₦400,000 in Nigeria isn’t bad at all when you consider our minimum wage. Why all this focus on doctors as if medicine is the only profession where pay is lower compared to overseas counterparts? Abeg, make una let us hear word about all dis doctors mata, nobi only doctors de country dey affect. |
Soon, currency converters will jump in to "prove" how Nigerian doctors are suffering, conveniently forgetting that Nigerian doctors didn’t pay their tuition in dollars or pounds. |
If you've ever lived or interacted with tribalistic individuals especially those who readily exploit it for personal gain, you'll notice they tend to be cowardly, deeply impoverished (both materially and intellectually), and ignorant. I can only pity them, as they rarely evolve or make meaningful progress, remaining stuck in their stagnation.
