Kudos to Nigeria, our people are doing great things. Those saying Nigeria is taking over and that Nigeria is second to India are just living in dream land. |

FIFA is being incredibly irresponsible. Would they handle it this way if the red card had been issued to a Sub-Saharan African team? Instead of merely suspending the punishment, they should have overturned the red card entirely if it was wrong. Justice should be applied equally to every team, regardless of where they come from. Which kind yama yama bi dis. |
Umahi if you want a presidential debate, go and pick a form. Mr "I am very dangerous now" that couldn't answer questions on environmental impact assessment nor give estimate of the cost of per kilometre of road us challenging someone to a debate. |
Hemanwel:Abedi Ayew aka Abedi Pele didn't play at FIFA world cup during his playing career. |
Nigeria's biggest problem isn't the absence of laws rather it's the absence of strong institutions willing and able to enforce them. How does a private individual have the audacity to deny officials from the Ministry of Environment access to a facility? Well unless due process wasn't followed if not, no one should be above lawful inspection. This is what happens when institutions become weak and powerful individuals begin acting as though they are above the law. The "big man" mentality continues to thrive while ordinary citizens pay the price. Who, in good conscience, establishes a poultry farm in the middle of a residential area? Must people sacrifice their health, clean air, and quality of life because someone wants to maximize profit? The law must be applied equally to everyone. Until our institutions are stronger than the influence of powerful individuals, environmental abuse and impunity will continue to endanger innocent Nigerians. Imagine calling on governor because a man is not allowing officials of ministry of environment to do their job. |
BATified2023:Oya go and sue nairaland.....jezzzz Why are you people heartless? This is innocent human life taken at his at his prime and you're talking about twitter. A life has been lost. Show some compassion and empathy. His only offence was being a Nigerian. May God have mercy on your soul!!! My God save your soul!!! |
Is this not the same woman that sent Mr. Ibu to his early grave? That was how she was always fighting Ibu because of money every now and then till the man died. Very lazy and financially demanding woman. Ibu been see shege for this woman hand day year sha. Many women na financial mistake. |
The worst mistake any woman would make is to hit me first. If you must hit me, make sure you've undergone some military grade training because at that point all I'm seeing in front of me is a human that can take any form of retaliation that comes with hitting me. |
Buhari got block vote in the north 3x but didn't become president until he formed alliance with people that can give him block vote in the south. It's not about southeast influence it's about forming the right alliance. No man is an island. |
BVN and NIN is used for selective justice. |
Exactly how it should be. Just like smoking, alcohol, pornography and other adult contents are regulated and restricted to people who are mature enough to understand and take responsibility for their actions, social media should also be regulated for children. Many kids who use social media are still developing mentally and emotionally and often lack the judgment needed to navigate the pressures, influences, and risks that come with these platforms. Exposing them to an unrestricted digital world at such a young age can do more harm than good. Giving children the chance to grow, learn, and mature before being immersed in social media isn't taking anything away from them, it's protecting their childhood and helping them develop in a healthier environment. These are the kinda ban Nigeria government should be considering so that we don't breed psychos in the nearest future. |
Oga monarch go and sitdown. If you don't respect yourself, bandits go kidnap all your deities join. Radarada. |
A failed country indeed. You can't travel by road and feel free like it use to be when we were younger. My dad would drive from Lagos to east and the journey would be so peaceful without fear or being kidnapped. Truly, there was a country I traveled to my hood in Olodi Apapa recently to and was having conversation with some of my egbon adugbo who are APC card carrying members (these are men in their late forties and fifties), maka chukwu i pitied Nigeria. Do you know that one admitted that Tinubu is a total failure but he'll still vote for him while another obviously have hatred for Igbos and everything that has to do with igbos and for that he'll never support anything Igbo. An Igbo guy in my hood opened a conversation on kidnappings in yoruba land and one of them shut him up that it's not the business of Igbos if there's kidnappingin Yoruba land, after all Yoruba didn't interfere during the days of insecurity in southeast during Buhari's administration. Funny thing is that these people live in one room apartments of the houses built by their parent in 70's and these houses are public face me i face you houses with one or two toilets and bathrooms for more than 14 rooms per house in the worst condition you'll ever think of and believe me the dog house in my family house there is by far better than the houses they live. I made up my mind more than 2 years ago never to give any of them my hard earned money for any reason even if hunger wan kill them (they've noticed it though and think it's because I'm struggling financially but na me know sey non of dem go get urgent 5k to 100k from me again). Funny thing is that some of these people complain about how things were good for them years ago but the still believe Tinubu is doing well. During Buhari's administration they were singing praises of Buhari only for them to say Tinubu is fixing what Buhari destroyed. I keep asking myself, what fo this people gain in supporting failure? When obviously the failure is affecting them. If you see any supporter of Tinubu that says Tinubu is doing well make sure you don't give them your money since Tinubu is doing well, they should be able to fend for themselves. |
Nigeria banks are nothing but cooperate thieves. If you want to know how these cooperate thieves operate, just deposit ₦5,000 into a bank and leave it there for 3 years. I promise you on the 4th year your balance would be negative (probably -₦1249). Eko bank did it to me as a student more than 15 years ago so I what I'm saying. When BVN registration started in 2014, I didn't bother to link the useless bank and it's account to my BVN. Imagine having more than ₦3,000 in your account that was sent to you by your younger brother to buy yourself lunch on your birthday but you didn't withdraw it because you didn't have ATM. You left it there for 3 years and in your final year in school, you were so broke that you remembered your urgent 3k only for bank to tell you that your balance is negative (i dey owe dem). No bi juju be dat. |
Na fraudsters full most Nigeria tier one banks. In 2022 a friend told me how a woman living and working in Saudi Arabia was debited ₦5,000,000 from her Nigeria bank account. She only pay into the account and have never withdrawn from the account since she moved to Saudi. So she contacted the firm my friend works for to recover her money, only for the woman to receive credit alert of ₦5,000,000 after they (the firm my friend works for) began their investigation. Las las the person know sey dem go catch am so na to return the money pay am pass. They stopped after the woman informed them that she has been credited because thats what they were hired to do. Conclusion is that the job was an internal job by bank worker(s). For me, i only use tier 1 banks for domiciliary accounts otherwise na opay, palmpay, monie point and co i get business with for my day to day runnings Dem no born anybody well to withdraw from any of my dorm accounts, walahi, me and my account officer and people wey dey the banch wey i visit go die that day. |
Choi!!! See recommendation ooo!!! Nigeria minimum wage of people law abiding citizens ₦70,000 while prisoners feeding should be ₦3,000/day. Is Nigeria not an amazing country? |
It is encouraging that she recognized how insensitive her statement was. Religious leaders should remember that during his earthly ministry, Jesus consistently stood with the people, particularly the poor and marginalized, rather than aligning himself with those in authority when issues affecting the vulnerable were at stake. |
![]() I'll like to see the Abia state governorship candidate of Abure's faction. If Abure and co know that their head is correct or is not correct let them come to Abia state to conduct primary elections. Foolish man that said election forms are free. |
Whether as content or not, as long as they (officers) are on duty, Nigerians should reserve the right to record officers. Why would a public servant not want to be recorded while on duty? What is he/she hiding? |
Forget all these trolls. If FC Barcelona really need Alvarez, I doubt if Atletico Madrid has what it takes to stop them. There's only one team that FC Barcelona can't bully to sign their talisman and thst team is Real Madrid. |
Normally Bayo Onanuga no get sense. The last spokesman of presidency whose brain was iintact during his time in office is Dr Ruben Abate, all other presidential spokesmen after have been mad people except Ajuri Ngelale who would have been a good spokesman but unfortunately they bullied him to resign. People like Bayo Onanuga shouldn't be speaking for the president because he's a madman. |
Normally dis one wey dey carry talk anyhow. You're scoring a total failure high because he's your partner in failure. Yeye dey smell. |
Choi!!! I thought i would die of indigestion earlier this week because of long throat no let me comot eye for afang soup wey wifey cook even though i know sey it was already late to eat. If you wan knack me juju just put this sea food for soup, omo, na one time i go eat the food. For the question, i ate it on Monday. |

Politicians from Nigeria are evil. Even devil dey learn work for where dem dey. I'm sure they sit side by side with the devil because devil need to be close to them with joter to learn from them how to be evil. Even him sef be like AI generated human being. Ewu. |
See gaslighting.Make sure she's a virgin before you pay bride price and if by mistake she's not a virgin after you've paid the bride price, go back to her people and collect your bride price back because bride price is only paid for a virgin. |
If to cheat dey hungry you abeg cheat. That's why people like us dey always maintain our stance on she must be virgin before we pay bride price. Which one is men are pushing their wives to cheat. These women of this generation are not just not disciplined but are also good at gaslighting. Bros if she no be virgin, no pay bride price ooo. Tell this your story to papa Kadija that is in Araromi spare parts market in Ibadan that leaves the house in the morning to hustle with grease all over his body or Okechukwu in Lagos that leaves the house by 5:00am to his hustle at Ladipo so as to put food for table so that his family doesn't die of starvation. A regular Nigerian man goes out everyday to hustle under the sun to put food on the table of an ungrateful woman, pay paytv subscription (which he hardly watch), pay children school fees, pay rent, support his in-laws and you think what he should be thinking of is how to look good like a gigolo. The only thing most Nigerian men thinks of is of are bills because the society have designed a man to be a provider. Only less than 10 percent (in my opinion) think about looking good because time no even dey for dat one. |
It's annoying to hear someone that have never experienced lack (problems that money can solve) come out boldly to tell people that money is not everything. After your creator respect money. Even Solomon that asked God for wisdom did so because he wasn't experiencing lack. Abi you think sey him go ask for wisdom if him be poper? The most painful thing about being poor is that "you'll live by rules set by other people in other to live on earth". For dis obodo Nigeria, we see people accuse kids of being witch, in as much i know it's caused by ignorance but if we tell ourselves the truth, poverty pays a huge role in those kinda thinking. The life of a poor man is worthless if you like say otherwise na you sabi. The truth is "Onye na-enweghị ego enweghị ikike, ihe niile o na-eme gbadoro ụkwụ n'iwu". Unless you've the balance of not too rich and not poor, you no know wetin you dey enjoy. Work hard and smart do thst you can navigate your way out of lack. My God crown our efforts with success. |
