Please I need all the advice I can get on how I can build my career in RMAFC having been employed with BSc in Microbiology.
Is there need for me to try and obtain another degree in a relevant course that's in line with the commission's mandate or there's a way I can switch and get a Master's degree in a course under Social Sciences despite my Science background that will cover up for the first degree I've been employed with?

Please advise a brother on the best way to go about it.

Last two years I meet an Ilorin young man who is on level9 at NEDC and he told me his total package is 17M per annum.recently I heard it was not salary and wages Commission approval.... I really don't know how the sister commission will take., hopefully they might have a uniform salary scheme.but sure NEDC is better in terms of salary.

So, was it revised?

I think I saw a discussion about the NEDC salary around 2023: Level 8 was around 250k, and Level 9 was around 400k (17m all in all for Level 9), but I don't know if it's true. You may ask around to verify the authenticity of the figures.

I think this might help... If you know any HoR (anyone, not necessarily the one representing ur region) or you somewhat have connection with any. Try reaching them via a reliable means with your CV/credentials.

The most hopeful way is the use someone close to the HoR or someone he respected. Surely, your credentials will be delivered to your desired agency.... After that, pray and pray cos the rest is up God.

NB: I repeat... Go thru someone he respected, someone close to the member. Otherwise, you'll be dishing out a reliable info for free, while some people benefits from it not YOU! 💔

That's how it supposed to be, you don't need to bug them. You only inquire when you have something relevant on ground. Otherwise, you will make them feel you have no trust in them.

Once they tell you 'Ok, received' you wait till you get a call. You can only ask questions when you hear people get calls but you haven't gotten. You get? Dey no dey rush them. Yes, they're different organizations. Nirsal PLC (Nigerian Incentives-Based Risk Sharing System for Agricultural Lending), and it is wholly owned by CBN.
While, Nirsal MFB (Nirsal Microfinance bank), and entity of its own.

Personally, I have no info regarding their salary or Remuneration. Besides, it seems to be a silent place because NIRSAL PLC is an initiative of CBN... Maybe their so called "Oath of Secrecy" is the hindrance to the outflow of such informations.

However, I once came across a thread on such informations, someone made mention of their remuneration thou it was dated back in 2020

NB: NIRSAL PLC is a specialized agency that was created and incorporated by CBN. In a local term, I would say they're under CBN but as an independent agency.

It depends on the band/level you're given. For instance a band 2 staff (usually entry level) earns about 250k plus monthly while band 4 (usually experienced hires) earns about 420k monthly (net). They also pay staff 13th month salary which is 100% of your monthly salary while performance bonus is paid in June each year.

In addition to that, salaries are increased at the beginning of every year in tandem with the inflation rate of the country for the previous year. The job can be demanding sha, especially if you work at the Country Office. Na Project Office people dey flex pass.

However most of their jobs are contract based but are usually renewable subject to availability of funding by BMZ (German Federal Ministry for Economic Co-operation and Development), the EU and other donors.
