zik4ever:heard it takes abou 40days and dey could deny u visa. so it ws true... i think its better to go through France embassy for a schengen visa. the others are ”head ache"//my opinion//..... |
studying in Poland is not bad compared to many countries. it gives you the opportunity to study in good universities with affordable tuition fees , the cost of living is OK compared to other European countries. I think getting the admission won't b a problem as long as u submitted the required docs. the problem is the visa, the embassy is well know for refusing visas. but the complain had lessen since last year. heard they have repented, they even advice people on what docs to provide ,unlike b4 when they deny u without any reason. how far hv u gone with d admission? u wld receive ur conditional acceptance letter then after paying ur tuition fees u wld receive the final acceptance letter/visa letter. how far have u gone?? |
the embassy just released an appointment date 2015-07-06
....hope u were able to secure an appointment...
best regards.. |
@emmanuel90 from my perspective I believe that it depends on the persons real aim(intentions)....he has to try his possible best to c dat he convinces the consular and also present ”ALL" required docs. Best regards.. |
papilont:I ve been following also...through out this month there were only schengen appointments... bt b patient and very observant cuz dey might release an appointment date for national visa soon..dey just released 1 for schengen today and its showing lack of available date already so u hv to b very vigilant if u want to secure 1 for national visa cuz am sure people lyk us are also waiting for d date.. |
@ emmanuel90 I understand....still working on it .... |
@ emmanuel90 ...I sent mine to Warsaw university of technology... also starting in October..bt gaz b there in September for d registration.... |
emmanuel90:is the program starting in august ...which program is that... |
yes pansophist we re all ears.....@ emmanuel90 hw ur admission process dae go ....wen re u applying for the appointment...base on my observations the date is only set twice a month for national visa appointment for example dis month was on the 4th and 25th ....I anticipate the next one might be on the 15th of June ...I am not sure but it takes an interval of about three weeks...I recommend you apply within nxt month...it wld b to ur favour..... |
bornequally:for appointment go to https://secure.e-konsulat.gov.pl/ for their number and the required documents to submit visit their official site click on contact for number and visa for the supporting documents there u wld get to know about applying. www.abuja.mfa.gov.pl |
ElDeeVee: ElDeeVee:I don't know much about other schools but I would recommend the best technical university in Poland Warsaw university of technology the tuition fee is affordable click on this to view their courses offered in English http://www.students.pw.edu.pl/index.php?id=10 |
eurozone1:u have a point there... the fact that I wouldn't be paying my tuition fees might give room to visa denial..I also considered it..but i heard they have changed their ways now they do give reasons .if they say it's the reason for denying me It means that if I pay I would be granted a visa. wat do u tnk |
I tnk its tym 4 us to get this topic rocking. I wld start wt the requirements from the embassy's site ALL VISA ISSUES REQUIRE REGISTRATION FOR APPOINTMENTS THROUGH www.e-konsulat.gov.pl ONLY HOLDERS OF DIPLOMATIC/OFFICIAL PASSPORTS ARE EXEMPT FROM THIS REQUIREMENT REGISTRATION PROCEDURE To register for a visa appointment, please go to www.e- konsulat.gov.pl --> Visas. Then, depending on the period of intended stay, choose “Schengen visa – register form” or “National visa – register form”. Schengen is for short-stay, up to 3 months; national is for 3-12 months (work, studies, etc.). Please be careful to choose to correct option. Choosing “… - fill in form” will direct you to a different application and you will be unable to apply correctly. The system will show you available appointment dates. Please note that appointment dates are granted independently of the embassy, based on the missions capacity and applicants’ demand. It is therefore not possible to receive an earlier appointment date. After you complete the online application form (make sure to click “submit” and/or “print”), a PDF will pop out. Please save it, print it and bring to the appointment. The exact appointment time will be visible on the last page of the PDF form. Please note that all applications need to be submitted personally by the applicants. We do not accept applications submitted by post, courier or anybody else than the applicants themselves. This requirement is stipulated in EU law. You will need to provide supporting documents along with your application form. SUPPOTRTING DOCUMENTS All applicants 1. International passport; 2. Visa fee of 12,000 Naira in cash (unless entitled to discount); 3. 2 passport-type photographs (en face, color, white background, no glasses, no hats); 4. Travel medical insurance valid for the entire period of intended stay plus at least 2 days; valid for all Schengen countries; minimum coverage 30,000 EUR; 5. Flight reservation (return); 6. Residence permit in one of the countries covered by the Embassy (if applicable); 7. Copy of passport data page and previous visas; 8. Copies of all original documents which the applicant wishes to keep. Minors travelling alone or with one parent – additional documents 1. Letter of consent from parent(s)/legal guardian(s) done in the presence of a Notary Public and superlegalized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; 2. Birth certificate of the minor; 3. National ID card/passport parent(s)/legal guardian (s). Studies, courses, research etc. – additional documents 1. Copy of acceptance letter; 2. All documents required by the institution; 3. Confirmation of payment of fees (if applicable); 4. Documents for legalization (if applicable) – more info: Legalization of documents; 5. Hotel reservation or proof of another accommodation; for applicants planning to stay with family or friends or being sponsored by Polish/EU citizens in any other way, an invitation registered with appropriate Polish authorities (Urzad Wojewodzki) is required; 6. Documents regarding applicant’s sufficient means of subsistence during intended stay, such as: introduction letter from employer with employer’s consent for travel; salary slips; proof of business ownership; personal/business bank account statements; proof of income generated by property; letter from sponsor and documents regarding sponsor’s financial situation; 7. Documents regarding applicants family situation (marriage/birth certificates). NB: if u re below 18 years you must provide the documents for minors we are all here to learn no contribution is too small ...all are allowed to participate |
@ eurozone1 tnx 4 ur contribution . I also heard about it but I hv to at least try because the course I want to go for is not offered in Nigeria its only the college of aviation Zaria dat offers a minor part of it and the tuition fees for this college is x3 of the 1 in Poland. for the fact that they would tnk I want to marry a polish girl its been solved cuz am not of that age yet. as u said I ve also decided not to pay any tuition fee until am given a visa or assured of acquiring one . |
@ holyboss .there was no English exam cuz Nigeria is an English speaking country and English language is the medium of instruction in schools. I just uploaded my secondary school cert, scanned copy of national passport and proof of application fees(€200) payment. |
yes holyboss I applied for an undergraduate degree |
salutations to my fellow niralanders I am sure many of us aspire to study in Poland. I have come forth to creating this topic for those of us who have such ambition. polish universities have opened their application for admission I am currently applying for aerospace engineering in Warsaw university of technology .I am yet to receive my acceptance letter but as we all know the admission isn't the problem, the problem is acquiring a visa. Therefore i want us all to share our ideas on how to tackle that visa . I would also try responding to questions within my knowledge so please all should try contributing .if u hv visited the embassy recently pls update us. |
