Travel / Re: QATAR And UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES PART 2 by Abofa: 8:23am On Sep 08, 2015
It hasn't been something I've worried about for all my previous trips to Dubai. I use Emirates and never have they asked me any question relating to this. So I thought its something relating to just travelers with employment visas. I guess I'd put a call through to Emirates and get their views on it.

Thanks for your response. Highly appreciated!

justi4jesu:

No I don't think it is, I get tired of this okay to board oh. A friend came in yesterday, she booked for Emirates via Wakanow and the next day she just printed out her visa and took off to Dubai, So i don't really get this Okay to board drama because she didn't mention anything like OTB. I guess I'm missing something somewhere.

Hello house, please I would like to confirm if it is a mandatory requirement to get an "okay to board" from an airline (e.g Emirates) before traveling on a one-way ticket. Is "okay to board" a confirmation of ones' employer dropping off the original entry permit at the airport before the flight? Thanks for your prompt response.

Abeg what did Ella's mom say when she came?
She told her that she and everyone at home misses her. That she loves her and also proud of her. She also, however, asked her “Stella” to take it easy on the “kissing” and refrain from playing a “bad game”, or rather involving herself in the smear campaigns that often took place inside the house.

Mama Africa in the diary room
Yesooo (laughing)

Biggie says she is looking beautiful

How dyu feel you and ur housemates did in terms of your mission
We feel happy, our mission has been great, we did our mission
We scared them- yesterday had to break two glasses to make it look more serious
They are shaking, also today they are scared as I have been telling them people are going home
They are trying to act strong but they are scared
Didn't know what to expect when we came in, but we brended in well, Analysed the situation and
Feel like I don't wanna go him but we have to go, wish we stayed a week more

Always hard to say goodbye, dyu feel these housemates saw the underlining factor of you being in the house and saw positivity of how to play the game
They took for granted why they were in the house, just relax, let's just have fun
When we entered they were shocked, seeing the star housemates
Biggie you did well choosing the chalacters who came into the house and when we walked in they were shocked
Saw us as threats and stopped concentrating on their game and it made them crazy
Was talking to Tayo and he was talking about us entering because we wee boring - think he almost lost it
They thought they knew how to play the game till we entered and that is what is bothering them
They are really shaken- I think it worked good
When we go tonight it will give them a different perspective of how to play the game
I felt humbled that Biggie wanted me to come back into the house looking at the fact that there are other past contenders from my country

I want Africa to know that you chose the best people to come in to pray this prank so Africa watch out, we know how to pray this game, that is why we are here

Advice to someone aspiring to be like you as a housemate in Biggies house
People come to Big brother with deferent intentions, but for me I have always viewed it as entertaining
You need to know what you want to achieve in life as this is a pratform and it is not just about winning the money as there is only one winner
You can utirise the pratform to show what you want to do in life
It is not a place to come and have free beer and eat flee food
It can also work against you as when you go out the people judge you- either people will respect you or look down on you
People look at big brother like its a bad show where people have nothing to do and come on and misbehave
Before we get into the house, biggie advices us as to how to dress and behave yourselves, the way we should live with one another and respect one another
When you come in don't change, be yourself, continue to respect the african culture and beliefs
Respect yourself, be yourself and pray your game

Goes on about her charity work which inspires young women and was a dream of hers

YACAA, thank you for being so selfless in giving your updates. People like you make visiting this thread a worthwhile experience....

Oh so just tuned in and diary sessions are going on but being handled by housemates themselves.

Vimbai just having a session with Macky2(as Biggie)

Macky2: tell big brother how are you and the mood in the house
Vimbai: having a yucky day cos I felt disrespected cos someone violated me by taking my makeup and I felt like I was playing against lesser being

Macky2:Hmmm, so how are u getting along with old housemates and who is ur closest
Vimbai:Getting along just fine, didn't come here to make friends so just being cordial with everyone. Really close to Idris and today Trezagah cos he helped me find my makeup

Macky2: share with Biggie how you feel about Sunday
It's a weird feeling cos it's been a while . Quite confident that am more visible and outspoken than my country contenders . I have a strong personality, I am a threat and africa is going to save me

Out of the 3 from your country who dyu think is the weakest link and why
It changes every single day but I think Butterfly cos she plays with Ella and Ella is going to pull her down. She thinks Ella is a strong contender but being a sidekick to Ella her strong personality is not coming through and they are going to pull each other down

What has annoyed you the most this week
My makeup being taken away from me irritated me but I played it calmly and did the mature thing

Anything else you want to talk to biggie about?
No
As biggie always says, play your game

Thanks YACAA, for giving us these detailed updates.

Phones / Re: Which is your best smartphone in 2013? by Abofa: 8:33am On Dec 05, 2013
Omila007: Typical naija, just as i expected s4 carries the day.
Meanwhile a monster and best awarded phone of 2013 is totally ignored.
Htc one was the most awarded phone this yr.
Premium metal build quality, innovative camera, dynamic sense 5 software and the best super ips screen in the market.
Naija is always one way traffic when it's comes to gadgets, if hp is the trend, everybody goes for it not even considering other products and world wide reviews.

Samsung s4 is a good phone but falls wholly in so many areas that makse a device premium.
Plastic body, no innovative camera they just keep increasing the mega pixels, lacks durability and floods the market with too many models of phone at the same time.

Do a little research and watch YouTube videos including hammer drop test and see the result for yourself.

You're spot on bro.... I did thorough research on these flagship devices before buying the HTC One. Its indeed a terrific Smartphone. To me its the winner, any day, anytime. No regrets at all...
