the chunk of the blame should be on the northern government... Yea, they are trying but alot still has to be done. if the south could be more pro education why can't the north cue in they should try more to make education more acceptable in that region. they are trying but a lot still has to be done.

The problem is people to accept Modern Education, i know a whole family that dont send their children to Schools except Islamic school thats to say Government should not be blame. Just recently governor of Kaduna declared modern education as Compulsory

The delta state u are castigating is a Haven for investors, can same be said about any northern state were poverty, illiteracy, lack of public infrastructure is the order of the day? Dont blame government for North's illiteracy though it has some certains vital to play but it provides schools, most of our states are on free Education from primary to secondary for boys and from primary to tertiary institution for girls. Corruption is everywhere but if the truth must be told Southern States are more fantastically corrupt than Their counterparts in the North. i think you need to go back to school and learn what corruption is. The rate of corruption in the north is very low compare to Southern states. I'm from Jigawa and guess what? Every local government is fighting for the Infrastructure. When contract is awarded all eyes will be on the contract to be finished without wasting time and contract must last long. The problem in the north is illiteracy and lack of social tolerances
