Just received regret message for Process Safety and Risk Engineer position this morning.

but honestly, if they have sent regret mails for the position you applied, and your status is still "under review" or application received just move on...no need of hanging your hope here. Regret mail is automatically generated, so sometimes it might not happen, most times it does.

and also, they will only interview you for the position you applied and wrote exam on.
If you applied for two positions and wrote exam on One of them... that is the one you should think about.
Dragnet specifically said if you write that test for two positions, you will be disqualified, meaning they want you to move on with ONLY one position.
because think about it, with the competition in this industry, you think there is no SME in the one you didn't write the test, the one you choose not to write the test because you are not really sure of that space, you think people didn't choose it first?
let's all be logical... You focused on your strength and chose, I&E, neglecting Project engineer, some other persons choose Project engineer as their strength and neglected I&E. if you are the recruiter, who would you interview on that position?

It's like the interview invite is sent shortly after one's status changes to 'application in progress'?

Once you write the test for a particular position, ExxonMobil must surely update you on that position within the time frame of the recruitment process. But, if you were shortlisted for aptitude test for a position and you didn't/couldn't write the test, the status can remain as 'Application Under Review' forever. Also, like someone rightly inferred, if you apply for multiple positions and only write for one position, the statuses of the other positions you never wrote for will not change untill you succeed or you are eliminated in the one you sat for. More so, if you apply for a position and was not shortlisted for aptitude test, ExxonMobil doesn't normally waste time in updating your status as 'application no longer under consideration '.

I stand to be corrected though if I'm not totally right.

You maybe reliably informed but I can tell you with authority that if you obtain high score in the test and meet the minimum requirement for the job role, you will be invited for interview. I know a guy who doesn't even have a 2.1 but works at Saipem, he received interview invite for Wells Quality Specialist role. He knew ahead of time he was gonna be called after he aced his test.
Global recruiters are responsible for shortlisting.
If you impress the panel during the interview stage, you will get the offer. They want the best hands for their operations. It's a 99% merit based system. Let no one be deceived.

It must move to Application in progress with a follow up interview email. It has to follow the sequence from recieved to review to progress.

Everybody who received the interview invite has his/her status first changed to application in progress. Or is there any exception?

I am yet to see anybody who received the interview invite with application under review status.

It depends on if they've been invited and not received rejection mail. If they have, your chances are slim but not to discourage you.

Has people be invited for interview for that role? If they have then you could be a back up candidate...... However how is your status for the wells operations integrity advisor role that changed from received to application under review, any news on that ?

Only applied for Process Safety and Risk Engineer. My status changed to application under review on 22/06/2025. I don't even know my fate as I don't know if others for the same position have been invited for interview or not.

No. Only 2 positions from wells.
Others will be coming in this week for next week interview.
All hopes are still intact especially if you notice any date change in your profile.. that means your cv was retrieved and after review which also mean that You in the race

It would go beyond 2nd week. They have July to finalise everything with regards to interview. They may contact those on waiting list should incase they aren't satisfied with those initially contacted for interview and for other reasons.

But, talking about waiting list, does that mean they have contacted the successful ones in all the roles for interview?

It matters now as those who have recieved interview invites had a progressive status. If its not progressing, it maybe a problem. At least let it move from Application recieved to Application Under review after the test.

I just posted a screenshot for one of the roles I mentioned earlier. Yes, interview invites.
Some applicant status after the test moved from Application received to Application Under review while for others whose application was under review before the test moved to application in progress. This is happening for EH positions.

Hello sir, thanks for your encouraging information. Meanwhile, from your analysis, can one deduce that application status changing from 'application received' to 'application under review' after the test may be a sign you might be invited for interview?

I also applied for multiple positions, wrote for one, and the others together with the one I sat for are still showing 'application under review '.

Has anyone's status changed to 'application in progress'? That's always an indication of success in the test and progress to interview stage.

Talking about screenshotting, you forgot each page in the real assessment window contained only one question and it's options? More so, hope you know nobody could have a screenshot of the assessment window. That's if really you know the difference between screenshotting and snapping. Also, why is it that those who leak JAMB/WAEC questions can't just pass their candidates by giving them high scores instead of leaking questions to them? And you also think the person who got the screenshots had time to rearrange and answer the questions perfectly before releasing it to others, considering how difficult it is to edit pictures?

Nevertheless, I can see you are arguing to win, not for critical reasoning. Hence, I concede to you.

The questions are the same as the ones that came out in the first test last month. But check very well and observe the small circles where we ticked for the answers are missing in the leaked version. The reason I assumed it must be the copy directly from Chevron before Dragnet added the small circles in their online platform for the test. If that be the case, it means most likely the questions might have been compromised by Chevron, not Dragnet.

From what I have seen from the picture so far, the question did not leak, because most of the questions are not in todays assessment. That picture is from the assessment of March. And like I said from my early post most of the questions where repeated..

Maybe someone took the pictures from the first assessment.

But anyway make God help us... Na One on one Interview go set things straight

It's obvious the questions leaked. See the way the questions are arranged with the right answers ticked to tell you that must be the copy directly from Chevron to Dragnet.
