Your relationship with people and how well you know their character should always determine how you relate with them. You already know she's no fan of yours, so given her nature, having her buy the oil from you wasn't a good idea. After she told you she didn't have money, you should've kept it moving instead of trying to wiggle money out of her by force via selling her an item on the list. She could've accused you of selling her a bad item or tell your brother something to make you look bad, and I reckon the latter is what has taken place via her telling him about the exchange. The point is you shouldn't have sold her the oil, knowing she's someone who doesn't like you. I understand you were in need but your peace of mind is more important.
