You can't be comparing big brother with younger ones.

Fuel economy: Matrix or Golf 4
Prestige and style: EOD
Power and comfort: EOD.
Low Maintenance cost: Golf 4
Durability: depends on you, and not on the car.
Thanks for your input. I'm impressed with the manner you marketed EOD. Low maintenance and fuel consumption will be a big factor for me to determine which of the cars to settle for.

chuka5000:
the Toyota matrix is a good car anytime any day. especially the one that come with the corolla engine(xr).
the Honda is good too if you live in a city with manageable roads cos Honda don't like bad roads.

as for me I'll go for the Honda because of comfort and other reasons. the golf4 is a no no for me
Thanks for your advice. I live in Lagos and roads is definitely manageable.

Can you be specific with the Toyota Matrix model that comes with corolla engine?

Any reason why the Golf 4 is a no no for you? I just like Matrix and Golf 4 shape cheesy

I appreciate your contribution

Good day Great Minds,

In a couple of weeks, I will be buying my first car but do not want to make mistake about it.
I don't have much experience with cars and that is the main reason I need sincere advice from
those with car experience.

I want review on the following cars:

Honda EOD
Toyota Matrix
Golf 4

In terms of low cost maintenance, low fuel consumption and durability; which of those cars or any other
car will you recommend for a first time car owner?

I await good recommendations and reviews.

I would like to appeal to Niger Delta militants to stop the bombings. There is so much suffering in the land.
No matter their grievances, they should accept negotiations and Federal Government must be sincere.

This is no longer whether you support PDP or APC. Nigerians are dying of hunger. The Naira keep depreciating
and companies are offloading their work force due to bad economy. We can't continue like this. Something
must be done very fast.

PoliticsRe: Poll Must Not Clash With Oba’s Coronation – Oshiomhole by abuc: 7:48am On Sep 09, 2016
I'm beginning to get worried for our electoral system. The present INEC is a national security threat
except something is done very quickly. Nigeria is currently divided along religion and tribal sentiment.
A faulty electoral process will be a catalyst for a national crisis that can degenerate beyond our imagination.
PoliticsRe: INEC Postpones Edo Election By Two Weeks by abuc: 7:04pm On Sep 08, 2016
It is very unfortunate. The reason to postpone the election is not genuine enough. Has Edo State experience any terrorist attack before now?
Why is it suddenly during the elections that terrorist planned to Invade EDO State?

The current INEC chairman should be wary on how his management of INEC represents everything incompetence.
From unfortunate inconclusive elections to a postponed State election.

I can remember just like a week ago, Professor Chidi Odinkalu warned of election not holding in 2019 due to current
political realities and incomplete INEC formation. This is a confirmation that the prophecy of Professor Odinkalu
may become a reality. I fear for Nigeria. 2019 is just 2 years and a few months away and the signs are not good.

PoliticsRe: APC Wants PDP Dead – Fayose by abuc:
PDP Governors Forum, especially Wike and Fayose made the biggest mistake in their political career by bringing in Sheriff to become PDP National Chairman despite stiff opposition by the party leaders. The only option they have now is negotiate with Sheriff camp because he has the upper hand now. Sheriff has successfully stopped 2 PDP national convention and it takes a lot of power and influence to achieve that.

Wike and Fayose made Sheriff chairman, they should enjoy their decision and stop blaming the Federal Government and APC. PDP have lost in this battle. They have to negotiate with Sheriff and accept some of his terms for peace. That is the purpose of Negotiation. If PDP continue with this their gra gra gra, the party will implode.

Just 2 options are left with PDP, either negotiate with Sheriff or form a new party and allow Sheriff control PDP if that is his wish.

Democracy is all about opposition. Those celebrating PDP crisis should remember Democracy does not exist without opposition. A time will come you will need a credible opposition to the ruling party and if you are happy PDP is dying, when you will need them; they won't be there for you.

Nigeria Labour Congress - Factionalize and Powerless

NTEL will be a case study on how not to launch a business. Two months after launch, one
cannot get their sim card in Lagos. How do they expect to make more revenue if they
are currently solely base in Abuja. It's a known fact that Lagos is the highest users
of internet in West Africa.
PoliticsRe: Onuh Edoka Declared ‘ghost Worker’ by abuc: 7:22pm On May 25, 2016
Both Federal and State Government should be careful in the manner they treat
Labour Leaders. As its now, we don't have credible opposition party. Labour
Union seems to be our last hope for now until PDP get their house in order.

Democracy without opposition is tyranny...

Consulting him will not cost the Government anything since he intend to offer free
advice. Anyone with credible ideas to save our Naira is required to share them as
soon a possible.

Forget ethnicity, religion and political interest. Nigeria is currently in a very big
danger and its time we all come together and share ideas on how we can save our
economy from total collapse rather than promoting propaganda, lies and deceit all
in the name of protecting our political interest.

Ifeanyi Ubah and anyone with information that will stabilize our Naira should offer
their solutions as soon as possible. Things Are No Longer at Ease
