Gbawe:I notice that Senator Chris Ngige will be coordinating the South East instead of Governor Rochas Okorocha. Does it mean APC do not trust Okorocha or he does not have much political clout? South East is the only political zone not being coordinated by a Governor. |
I'm encourage to get a plot of land in Lagos. Knowing the cost of this project will be fantastic but spyder880 have been neglecting the question for personal reason. Following in 3D lens. |
Great Move. Our political Leaders must accommodate people from other faith. CAN have been accusing Northern Muslim Governors of not providing lands for Churches to be built in the North. I want to see more Northern Muslim Governors showing love to people of different faith. |
Fashola is a good administrator but I'm disappointed with his lack of political clout. I expected him to have some sort of political structure by now but he is too elitist. I'm not suggesting he should fight with Tinubu but having no say on who Governs Lagos, Who represent Lagos in both House of Reps and Senate is not too good for his political future. Here is someone who he's capable of leading Nigeria to greatness. How can he be President if he has no say in the state he Governed for 8 years. Nigerians don't elect Good People, they elect politicians as President. Except the type of Luck that befall GEJ happens to BRF, he still has a long way to go politically |
Fayose should take it easy |
Please what is the total amount of money Abacha looted in office? They keep on returning billions of dollars without end. The greed of our corrupt leaders have destroyed the Great Destiny of this Nation. We must work hard to rebuild. |
Offcourse he will make billions monthly as Nigeria President. N1 na for PR ![]() But honestly, Atiku is a better politician than Buhari while Buhari is less corrupt than Atiku. I have been monitoring Atiku Digital Campaign and I'm very impress. He has IDEAS but unfortunately, he cannot become President of Nigeria for now ![]() |
Eke40seven:Thanks Eke. If Madgeburg is hospitable with foreigners, then I have no other issues. I currently manage a very small digital media agency here in Lagos and I believe the small agency can still fetch me some cash while I'm in Germany. Though as an Entrepreneur, if there is an opportunity to start a small digital agency in Germany; I won't hesitate but my main motivation is getting more knowledge to the level of MBA. |
Bankijey:Thanks very much. Your friend is definitely a joker I'm not going to Germany for Babes but for Knowledge acquisition ![]() |
Let me first commend the wonderful people that have been contributing on this thread and offering useful advice with no strings attach. I salute UNA! In the past few months, I have been researching about German Universities using Daad.de and study-in.de/en and I have been very impress with my findings. I specifically searched for undergraduate courses entirely taught in English and I have shortlisted 5 Universities to apply to. Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg • Bachelor of Science in Business Economics University of Magdeburg • BSc in International Business and Economics Reutlingen University • BSc International Business Business Administration (BA) • SRH University Berlin Bachelor of Arts in International Business Management (IBM) • Furtwangen University • Villingen-Schwenningen It is always my habit of consulting those in the know before making final decisions. I have a strong bias towards Martin Luther University and University of Magdeburg which are based in the federal state of Saxony-Anhalt and I intend to live off campus. I just wanted to find out if Black Africans are welcome in Halle and Magdeburg or are they racist? I also discovered they were part of Eastern Germany before the reunification. Easter Germans are known for being intolerant to foreigners. I’m asking this question because I don’t want to live in a foreign land feeling insecure, unwelcome and isolated. General advice on the Universities and Courses I shortlisted are highly welcome. Looking forward to more useful contributions. |

I laugh when people call GEJ "clueless" ![]() |
Let me know the cost for office space in Ikeja. |
All the response are right but should we fold our hands and allow thousands of people to die just because our corrupt Government failed to invest on research and our institutions? We all know our Leaders have failed us but this is not the time for such discussion. Ebola is getting out of hand and no knows who will be the next victim. We need Zmapp to experiment as well. Those already infected deserve a chance to leave. The Internet we are enjoying was invented by the White (USA). Nairaland was develop with SWF an Opensource software created by the white and currently hosted with a white man web-server. The GSM phones we use are manufacture by the White. The computers, Planes, Medicines are from them. You should also blame our Leaders for this. I repeat, this is not the time for blames but actions. When Ebola get to your doorstep, you will understand better. |
Release experimental drug, Zmapp to Africa! Let us all come together and urge the Obama administration to release the experimental drug, Zmapp to medical personnel in Africa who contracted the disease in their line of duty. Their survival is essential to treating and quelling the epidemic that is gradually spreading across Africa. If you believe in this petition, please add your voice by signing now! https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/petition/release-experimental-drug-zmapp-africa/9bYrqL09 Share this message on Social Media, SMS, News Media and every other way. We must not fold our hands and allow thousands of people to die especially if they have a chance to live. No one knows who will be the next victim. The time to act is now and not by spreading baseless rumors that will not save the situation. |

I just hope this news is True. Fashola made a mistake by increasing the school fees by over 300%. A 50 - 100% increase would have made more sense. What is the logic of increasing a fee from 25K to 350K authomatically. That was a wrong move intellectually, economically and politically ![]() You are indirectly telling the children of the poor they don't deserve University Education when you benefited from Awol's FREE Education Policy. That is uncharitable and inhuman. I have so much respect for BRF but LASU school fees palava reshape my perception about FASHOLA. Let me make it known here, if this news is true then it is just a political trick to get more votes. A fee that was increased over 2 years ago is now being reversed just 7 months to election. A clue may have been learnt from Ekiti when Fayemi increased school fees despite protest and the outcome is obvious. STOP ALL THESE POLICIES THAT WILL MAKE LIFE DIFFICULT FOR THE POOR |
Does it mean the Governor of CBN did not conduct his research very well before sending such a letter to the President and also leaking it to the press? We need to Act with Conscious. |
This is not the best time to Impeach a Nigeria President. The outcome will be very disastrous. APC having been demanding for GEJ Impeachment in the past 2 years and its all politics. They know the consequences of such act. |

More of this will follow in the coming months. Some deputies will not follow their Governors to APC. I dey Observe ![]() |
Deputy Governor Mukhtari Shagari of Sokoto State has stated that he would never leave the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and declare for the All Progressive Congress (APC) as Governor Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko did. Mr. Wamakko is one of several PDP governors called the G-7 who had formed a splinter group of the party before most of them announced their decision to join the APC. Speaking to journalists at his residence, Mr. Shagari said he was one of the founding fathers of the PDP in 1998, adding that the party had done enough for him to remain in it. He stated that he had twice been made a senior minister under the party, he was given the ticket to contest the Sokoto state gubernatorial election in 2007, and later agreed to be the running mate to Mr. Wamakko when the governor decamped to the PDP. “Therefore, I cannot just abandon the party that made me and even honored me with national honors of Commander of the Federal Republic,” Mr. Shagari said. The deputy governor also added that, for the more than five months that Mr. Wamakko had been going around consulting, the governor had never even once briefed him of his intention to dump the PDP. A SaharaReporters investigation confirmed that Governor Wamakko had since stopped allowing Mr. Shagari to act as governor whenever the governor traveled out of the state. On Monday, Mr. Wamakko stated that the five governors who defected to the APC had resolved to dump the PDP for good. Addressing State House correspondents after a meeting of some PDP governors, including three of the G-7 governors, with President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja, Mr. Wamakko announced that five members of the PDP’s G-7 governors had defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). He explained that he attended the meeting following a presidential invitation to him and his other colleagues. He said that the meeting gave him the opportunity to explain to Mr. Jonathan that the G-5 Governors who defected no longer consider themselves members of the PDP. “Well, the meeting went on very well because some of us came here as governors to discuss [a] PDP matter and our position has been known. On behalf of the five of us, I have already briefed Mr. President on our position as G-5 that we are no longer in the PDP mainstream and that we are already in another party,” Mr. Wamakko said. http://saharareporters.com/news-page/sokoto-governor-wamakko-deputy-governor-part-ways |
Nigeria is more Divided than ever before |
I always wonder why Daily Trust keep on reporting news to cause public disaffection in some part of the country. Even though its a Northern Newspaper, they should be careful with Security issues that can easily degenerate. |

I thought its a movie script or joke ![]() But I just realize IGBO-PRESIDENT is very serious. Unfaithfulness stinks, we have no other option than to forgive but to continue the relationship is something I can't guarantee. A cheat will hadly repent. Its like someone who is possess. You cry for forgiveness today and the next day, you commit the same atrocity. Na addiction be that... ![]() |

I've learnt a lot of lessons from this awful event. Even in Anger, we should be able to control ourselves. You don't know who is recording and whatever you do in anger can be used against you at the appropriate time. In as much as I appreciate this kind gesture by Oshiomole, this particular event have changed my perception about the so called man of the people. His outburst was a reflection of who he is and no amount of billions will change that. At first I thought the video was manipulated because I could not believe Mr Comrade uttered such words but I was wrong. Its very good to have a strong opposition party within the polity because they will influence those in ruling party to sit up. Just imagine if EDO PDP did not offer the Widow a good gesture with their last week press release instructing the widow to come over to their office to collect a first installment of N250,000 this Tuesday. Oshiomhole have to hurriedly offer her 2 million with automatic employment. Our Leaders should be careful with their utterances when in Public in this Internet Age. |

I just hope that these attacks will not degenerate into something beyond our comprehension. Some policy by Aregbesola in regard to public school merger may trigger some sort of reactions we are not yet prepared for. |
I already know this and have been saying it over again. |
