"The Chief Security Officer of the Federal College of Education, Osiele Abeokuta, Olusola Ajibola, who led the arrest of the suspect, told the police that Mmasichukwu and Semilore were students of the institution, while Ayomide was a final-year student of FUNAAB." Ain't the trio in the same school? This grammatical plunder from the Punch is amazing. No, Ayomide is the only Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta student here. Both Mmasichukwu and Semilore came visiting from the Federal College of Education, Osiele which is close by. |

sagitariusbaby: I have never supported APC in any election but I am happy with this outcome. I'm from the South South but I have a big issue with some states like Kogi and Benue where a particular tribe thinks the seat of the first man of the state is their exclusive right.
Ebira is doing to the Igalas what the Igala did to them back to back since 1999 return to democracy until the Ebira got it by divine intervention. Playing ethnic politics in a state like Kogi comes with great consequences and regrets like this. The Benue Tiv people should get ready for a day and time like this when the Idoma by divine mercy will take over the leadership of that state to the glory of God. This election is a clear example. Congratulations to ODODO. Thank you! I love your clear submission. It's common in states where some tribe believe it is their exclusive right. Had Muri not being an Igala man, can he see up to 50k votes? No. Congratulations once again, Usman Ododo. |

Focusmind: I earlier said it, LP may not have any member left in the national assembly after all the tribunal sittings. They hurriedly rushed their primary elections, bypassing certain electoral act rules which petitioners are using to their advantage. I don't know what Abiodun Johnson, the APC candidate for the Isolo/Oshodi federal constituency is still waiting for. He should use technicalities to "get" back the mandate from the LP guy. If We are to be Objective, Abiodun Johnson, the APC candidate and former representative of the constituency, did extremely well for the constituency in his first term before loosing to the LP candidate. Engr. Johnson na correct man, just sameas his previous Rep- Hon. Muniru Hakeem! But the EluuP caught up with him. He needs to reclaim that mandate o! |

You could have made use of the available connection with a well know politician accepted by the inhabitants in Faskari LGA then, rather than returning South after the compulsory one-year service. Funny country, they are technocrats but they don't have electoral value .
They prioritize winning election's to the development of the state.
Nigerian politicians are a different breed of politicians. Tell me Engr. Aramide Adeyoye's contribution during the past four years despite the defacto Comissioner for Works, and telling us she had worked with a leading construction conmpaning for 15 years? Are we not in this Lagos together, and tell me about the state of roads again. We have many thieves calling themselves technocrats today in Nigeria's politics. Like Obasa rightfully said, there were many technocrats would came home to contest for LAHA seats as members of the assembly, and not by telling us someone spent 20 years in a company abroad or anywhere else. The technocrats should also be on the field during electioneering and stop waiting for appointments. Was Dr. Betta Edu not a technocrat as a Medical Doctor where we saw all her CV, where she worked and her positive impacts during the electioneering will resulted in her being made a Minister? Cut us some slacks please. |

You can come to the public to say a whole tribe of Etsako had no commissioner in your government because Shuaibu did not attend a meeting. All the people you appointed, do they have a representative in the meeting. because of your fight with Osho and Shuaibu you decided to punish the whole clan of Auchi. What a colossal loser. You know a man when you give him money and power. It gets some people drunk and i think you are drunk with money and power. You capped it all. Shuaibu was his problem by not having a commissioner from the Auchi clan. Mr Governor is fighting a lost battle, coz Philip is more grounded politically than him. Let him contest, give Central your PDP ticket for the guber; and let's await the eventual winner. |

In 2006,the EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu, before the Senate, listed 5 govs as the Worst Stealing Governors as:*
1. Orji Kalu , Abia State 2. Ahmed Bola Tinubu , Lagos State 3. Ahmed Sani yerima , Zamfara State 4. George Akume, Benue State 5. Abudulahi Adamu, Nassarawa State
Today, in 2023, 17 years after.
Orji Kalu = Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu = President Ahmed Sani Yerima = Senator George Akume = Senator now Appointed by Tinubu as SGF. Abdullah Adamu = APC Chairman.
The then EFCC Chairman Nuhu Ribadu that did not prosecute Tinubu, appointed by Tinubu to be Special Assistant on Security

If the election is to be conducted again, Obi will win with landslide as long as INEC did not manipulate the result.
What is your business with Obi? Why can't you face your dead party called PDP, Obidients don't want that dead PDP and your corrupted Atiku, know this and know peace. Landslide? PO is overrated. The guy is telling you the truth, with your supporters overzealous actions by hurling abusive words anytime a citizenry countered either PO or LP with a constructive criticism. You don't make enemies in politics. You need the numbers! Explain, and if the individual is hellbent of not heeding or giving good arguments, you move on. After all, Obi has ruled a state before and he never turned it to an Eldorado. We all can't support same candidates in an election where we're searching for the best brains. |
