I get the impression that if I married my Catholic BF in the Pentecostal Church, it wouldn't be as valid or something. He asked me if I would then go to the Catholic church to have it blessed or solemnized if we had a marriage outside the catholic church.

I had to ask him - why would we need to go to the catholic church? isn't God in the pentecostal church? ... he didn't answer.

I'm white & Canadian & I love Nigerian movies. I don't think it's for the unenlightened. I'm well educated!

I like to see what Nigeria looks like - it's way different - like having compounds instead of front yards, the roadways, vegetation, etc.

I also like to see what Nigerian broken english I can pick up - sometimes it's good to see it in context of a movie.

I think he likes the solemn worship, praying to the saints, worshipping mary, and he thinks it's really his religion because that's how he grew up.

Hi everyone, I want in on this discussion - I'm totally in love with a guy who is secretly going to the Catholic church. We are both elders in our pentecostal church. He is a Spirit-filled Christian man. We're considering marriage, but I'm worried about this. What do you think?
