Almost 2 years plus after giving us the season 1 of Severance. Season 2 is yet to be out. They'll make you forget everything before the next season comes out. Why I hate watching series with just 1 season.

I think there was a teaser trailer last year or so. But e don dey too tey sha. Na to go YouTube watch roundup of season one before starting the second season when it comes out.

Fallout

I have seen my fair share of post apocalyptic series from The Last of us, Twisted Metal, Silo to mention a few.

Every show sets its theme from early on whether it's a serious show(The Last of Us and Silo) or themed lightly(Twisted Metal).

Fallout tried to be a mix of both and failed woefully at both, especially at the comic side( the Vault 4 episode).

Both Lucy and Maximus acting to me felt amateurish, hell plenty of the casts and the way they handled their lines/scenes felt force. The other exemplary acting was The Ghoul, not perfect but head above the rest. Wilzig also, was perfect for his role. Too bad his character didn't last.

Even the Norm storyline that was suppose to let the audience in on what was happening was dragging on, too slow.

Overall, I didn't enjoy the time it was set in. I still have the last episode to go anyway. Hopefully the end will elevate the show.

Just concluded it and personally I do not recommend for anyone. Even the last episode that was supposed to be emotional, the acting didn't just enter abeg.

Wasn't moved at all.

The casting director should be sacked.

While the acting was poor IMO, the soundtrack was on point in 2 scenes. Like perfect.

In Yoruba Intonation Ezero Chemistry. Some scenes were like he was acting for Nickelodeon or some kids channel.

Just finished seeing it. Omo this villain isn't giving oh. All villains in KFP all had their own style and uniqueness in the way they fought and spoke.

This one was just a cheap ass copycat.

I don't know whether is the MC Andrew Scott I don't like(Since he played Moriarty in Sherlock Holmes, never like him) or the Black and White Cinematography that the whole show was shot in that is putting me off.

1. His knows his son can't succeed, if his brother kills his son, it's an act of war been a guest of Toranaga.

2. If unseemly his son succeeds, the son will have to perform seppuku for killing a regent , and in a stranger way gain control of his brother's army.

Saw the trailer, but not my kind of show and I love Warrior like crazy.

Nymphomaniac - 7/10 - I was curious about watching NC-17 and X rated movies that are artforms but not porn and this movies stands out above every thing else. Better than Showgirls in my opinion. It is about a nymphomaniac and her sexcapades. Apart from all the many sex scenes where we could see her sucking stuff without blurring anything. It is just like porm but with a story. Mia Goth, Uma Thurman and the Dune guy is even in this movie. Nuts!

It's new. It's hard watching Giancarlo Esposito as a struggling family man, also a driver. Never thought I will see him sparring with a sand bag also.

It's like watching Pete Edochie struggle for daily bread in a nollywood movie. E nor fit enter.

Type casting? Maybe, but it is what it is. He isn't the kind to be involved in the crime, he is the one to send people to commit the crime.

Everything is just inverted in this show, the "Boss" is a really young guy, the protagonist old man.

If the old man is say Denzel or even Liam Neeson. I can see it.

Just saw that this episode 8 is the last episode for season 1.

While the buildup was really really slow, I became thoroughly engrossed in the last 3 episodes.

Overall rating for season 1: 7/10.

I have been downloading Tokyo Vice for the last 3 weeks, will use this Easter holiday to catch up on it.

I might also add that, the Japanese language is such a reassuring and affirmative language that any monologue or dialogue in it, seems to carry a much much more deeper meaning than it's literal translation in English.

The language exudes a profound elegance and an uncanny air of positivity that i cannot explain.

It and German, might be the language i would be willing to learn if the opportunity arises.
