This Apple+ TV series DARK is actually messing with my head. What if people we all thought are mental are people that have been replaced with their other. Cos sometimes they talk about their own reality, and we dismiss it cos it's not a part of our own reality.

These kind series na wetin I wan dey watch now, atleast I can be hiding inside these theories.

Can anyone recommend other series like this for me.

You mean Dark Matter. Currently enjoying it. A show that had the same kind of premise but for some reasons I dont know, it was cancelled after the first season is Constellations. Still from Apple TV.

The movie aint worth 6..terrible tennis, the match at the end, the slow motion, the anti-tennis rules, just terrible abeg.

The slow motion were the worst. I think its very difficult to actual shoot sports movies asides basketball.

The worst I have seen is golf, twas release this year. The only sport movie I have seen that I enjoyed was a rowing movie last year, twas too good.

I can't see Zendeya as a mom, it just look ridiculous grin.
That teen/young girl vibe too full her body.

It's still worth a 6 though.

I feel they cancelled it because they lack the direction to go

Even shows less complicated than it gets canceled for reasons best know to the network they're on.

My take is not wanting to have two shows of same storyline.

When I said Ninja Kamui was just fights without substance... people here were attacking me...

Now the show is getting cooked all over Reddit and Twitter for being "one of the worst falloffs of any anime".

There's a reason I checked out of the show after 3 episodes...

Yet someone was telling me the plot was good...
A show that Demon Slayer has better plot than...imagine

I really enjoyed the fights in the first 2 or 3 episodes, as they introduced machines and they became a main stay, omo I disembark o.

So Apple TV cancelled Constellation that explored the concept of multiple realities with people switching realities and started Dark Matter with the same storyline?

No lele, I have seen Dark Matter, the first 2episodes, just like Constellation, I will be there till the end. This is a 'genre' I like and enjoy watching.

Unfrosted 7/10

I miss comedies like this, grin alot of dark humor and jokes in this movie I laugh every five minutes.. They didn't even give Peter dinklage much screen time

Hmmm. While there was humor and some truth here and there ,Moon landing been filmed in Hollywood etc, shit was dry AF. The delivery for most of the movie was just dry, star-studded but dry.

5/10

Meet the horror genre. The gift that keeps giving. The most profitable and bankable low-risk genre in Hollywood.

On a more serious note, it seems small to mid budget films are on the rise again after the ginormous banger that was 2019 with numerous "big films" bringing huge money at the box office and COVID essentially delivered a huge blow to smaller movies theatrically with more people only willing to go to cinemas unless it's a true event film or worth the stress.

NB: Warner Bros might have had a mixed year with big flops in the superhero genre but their overall lineup of films had enough impact to put the company in the green. The studio is already set to win 2024 for the first time in a long while.

No offense oh, dem for just use that Monkey Man money take carry 2odds. grin grin cos WTF!!!

I enjoyed it. The ending was too tight.

Image 1: I think I rewinded this scene like 3 or 4 times, the say dem off Godzilla light, too funny. grin

Image 2: See as them wear a whole Godzilla fanny packs for everywhere. grin grin

Image 3 and 4: You can actually feel how pissed Godzilla was. Nigga was forking angry.

Overall rating: 7/10.

P.S.: Why do most Japanese actors act like they're I'm a play. They always have to use overaching gestures, open their mouths wide just to act!

Perhaps you haven't seen enough Japanese movies/series.

They are like just like the regular Yoruba illiterate or tout that opens their whole mouth just to converse. grin
It's only a few of their actors that are able to converse without the mouth wide thing.

Does it matter their box office returns or that the movie is good?

I think his comment stems from that fact that female-led roles have tanked in the box office severally in huge franchise or should I say huge budget movies, so having multiple female lead movies doing so well is almost a shocker and a positive change in the norm of how it has been for a couple of years.

For some reasons I don't know , I can't see Elizabeth Moss as an intelligence officer. I'm used to seeing her suffering, poker face at all times, solemn and humble.

I'd still give this show a chance, not done with the second episode yet. Let's see how it goes.
