The only way I could have a big wedding is if the man I am marrying is the stark opposite of me, and honestly, that's not likely.

wedding gowns are not once in a lifetime. I may choose to not use a conventional wedding gown on my wedding day, I could wear any random white dress and do something small, however, on my wedding anniversary, maybe my 10th or 20th wedding anniversary, I will get myself a proper wedding gown (bought not hired)

I look at wedding gowns like engagement and wedding rings, you don't need anything glamorous at the beginning, but over the years, when you and the man have grown together and can afford something befitting of your relationship, you get something better.

what if it is a big wedding and you bought a conventional wedding gown?
or will you still buy a simple white gown?

Is prestigious when bought but more economical when hired
