From me to u ehn, next tym call d seller to be sure he/she has reached a conclusion wt d buyer(for whom u r running d pick up errand) and ask to know if u can come pick up or not. D traffic from ikorodu outwards mile12 yesterday was thick, I spent about 2hrs to get to owode, I aborted my journey n turned back to ikorodu sharply. Learn to use Google map to determine traffic too so u decide where n where to go

Also, weda d item is in good or bad condition isn't ur business. Pick up n face ur destination! #peace

Moved on already and she has apologized and apology accepted but I never knew she just wanted to buy the items cos I was not told all she told me was to pick items in so so place and deliver to so so place and we negotiated on getting there I discovered she’s yet to pay for the stuff and I don’t think it is a bad thing for her to ask my opinion about the stuff which I gave her my honest opinion and that was the point I understood the whole thing but like I said lesson learnt and it is all good we are fine.......Thanks to everyone for their concern.

The matter wouldn’t have gotten here if she was honest and straightforward it would be so painful but it would have been settled amicably but the fact that she was trying to put the blame on me to avoid payment was the annoying thing.. I have two good phones with long lasting ba3 one stronger than the other sha but relied so much on my car charger that suddenly stoped working and with 3% my phone was on till I get to ajah the only time my phone went off was when almost got out of Ajah traffic till ibeju I got another charger and powered my phone so the lack of communication is a no no she already told me the reason for everything which was out of her control just so bad i had to pay for it, but it’s one of those things.

Thanks bro done that already we were chatting on WhatsApp ni... the is just painful and annoying and not even about money but after going through that kind of stress and they still want you to believe it is all your fault. I actually wanted to send my boy to run the errand b4 I changed my mind imagine me doing that and the guy comes back after blowing my fuel and returning home at night and telling me stories. But it’s all good lesson leant in a hard way.

I got to IBEJU by 5 after Ajah traffic if you pass through those places yesterday you’ll knw what I am talking about and mind you my phone was on till I got to Ajah which was the reason why she was about to reach me and changed the location turned on my data to check if she had sent the address and my phone went off and I called her instantly with another phone so don’t say what you don’t know.

My phone was only off from that time till I got to ibeju when leaving ibeju I got a car charger and my phone was on since then till I got to IKOTA and you can ask her which phone I used in calling her when I got the gate of the estate...

I suspect you are the husband cos I wonder why you are taking side of someone who is hiding her identity by opening a new moniker this morning just because of this issue.

I contacted Adaba before 8am to help pick up items for me yesterday from two different locations in lekki and we agreed on price.
By 8.24am, he said he'd be on his way in 10mins....
Meanwhile, I was unable to get one of the pick up location and I told him before he left hoping before he get to the island, I'd get the add.

By 12 or thereabout, I called him to ask if he's on the island but he said he was at oworo... Well, I told him I could get through to the person that he should just pick the one I've sent the address details, so on this note, he'd be picking up one item.
I later asked him if he could pick up a dining from ibeju and he said he'd charge additional 2K which I agreed.

After then... His both numbers were not connecting but fortunately he called with another number by 3pm that he was just approaching ajah heading towards ibeju and requested for address.

Meanwhile, I called the owner for the exact address to his home but he said he has waited for long and that he's not home. I called and told Adaba the situation... He said he had to look for where to turn.... minutes later, the person called to say he can come for the pick up.
I asked Adaba can u still go to ibeju? Have you turned to the other side? He said he hasn't turned .
So he went. Got there around 5pm, as usual, I asked if the dining was in good condition, he said it's OK for a used one but the chair as faded. I was going to sell the dining with extra 5k to someone that wanted to buy yesterday. So I wasn't convinced about the dining so I told him to leave it

And that I'd pay him still the extra 2k.

So he left... Minutes later, the person in lekki called that intact he wasn't selling because I told him someone will pick up the items since morning and he waited all thru afternoon.

I tried to reach Adaba but his number was off. I called one of the numbers he used and the person said he has alighted.

So Adaba got to lekki and was calling so I could call the person. At that time, my phone was with my son and I didn't know he was calling. Eventually we spoke and he said he was there, I told h situation of things and this guy just started shouting

I will appreciate it if you can point out my fault am I suppose to fly my car? Remember I had passed ikota b4 u asked me to turn back and what was the time by then? Before I could turn back you asked me not to turn again meaning you haven’t made up ur mind on which items you really wanted if truly the seller refused to sell to you cos of time whose fault was it ?

Cos I got to IKOTA even b4 2pm but you wanted me to go to IBEJU at that moment so stop looking for excuses shogbo.

Were you hired to pick up and deliver an item or to inspect and interfere in pricing/bargains?

As someone who does deliveries for nairalanders, it’s important to be clear on the service I am rendering. Which is strictly pick up and delivery.

The most I can do is confirm the item is what I am supposed to pick up via a live video to my client.


Your comments about the pricing of the dining set obviously influenced your client to make a u-turn on the purchase, which also came at a cost to the seller.

Sorry for the stress and I hope this experience would guide your future deliveries.
