Delta State governor, Ifeanyi Okowa now run a machinery of blackmailers. He has recruited and included Fejiro Oliver and Prince Kpokpogri on government payroll.
Okowa believes so much in blackmailing his political foes and in Fejiro and Kpokpogri, he found a perfect hands to do his dirty job. His aim of blackmailing is to whip people into line.
An anonymous source revealed that there is a triangle of Hilary, Fejiro and Kpokpogri. Hilary compiles documents about every official whom they see as a threat to Okowa, then Kpokpogri writes and signs the petition using his ''Anti-corruption'' group.
It was also gathered the reason most of the legislators and political leaders are quiet or obey Okowa’s command is because Okowa blackmails them to silence. While Hilary digs out stuff on them, Kpokpogri writes the petition and Fejiro Oliver publishes it.
They even have EFCC insiders on payroll working with them who now invites the person. This is what they do to anyone who dares to stand up against them.
Also, whenever Hilary wants to put appointees in line he uses Fejiro. This was also how they brought Makinde to his knees by sending EFCC against him.
We gathered that they are preparing for Igbuya heavily. They have also perfected plot to replace him with Ibori's daughter, Take. Though at first Ibori resisted but Okowa has closed his mouth with money.
Others on their blackmailing list include Peter Nwaoboshi, Makinde while Chief Ibori's loyalist are the main targets.
But in all, Deltans never question why most of these petition are signed by only Kpokpogri who we've confirmed works for Okowa.
It's so unfortunate that Nigeria is a place where blackmailing thrives. This is because once secrets are exposed, we rejoice and never see anything wrong about blackmail. In civilized countries, blackmailing is a crime.
It's more annoying that a paid media consultant of the state would publicly issue threats or blackmailing statements and people would be clapping and dancing.

The Borno State Command of the Nigerian Police Force has continued to clap down on social media activists in the state as the command this morning extended an invitation to Mr Abubakar Abbagana Tarab, a Facebook user who criticises government.



A text message sent from the command reads; ”Abubakar Abbagana Tarab, u should come to GRA police station now”.



It would be recalled that DRUMBEAT NEWS had reported how the police officers acting on instructions of governor Shettima arrested one Alkali, a social critic and kept him for five hours over allegation of sharing a video and still pictures exposing SEMA Officers while rebagging rice meant for IDPs into Saleable sacks.





Disturbed by negative reports emanating from Borno State, a Government House source who does not want his name mentioned told DRUMBEAT NEWS the governor Shettima is using the police to intimidate people from speaking against him and his administration.



The source added that ”Facebook users in the state are being arrested and forced to sign that they would not share any negative story from the state to the general public”.

Recounting her ordeal, the victim said: “I had been silent about the incident but recently, I have been hearing rumours making the round that I am being bitter towards Igbuya after he turned down my sexual advances towards him.

 

“I had attended the event were I received an award from UPU Chicago and at the end of the event, I went back to my room which I shared with my daughter and nephew. At my room that night, Igbuya sent me a total of five SMSs which I still have on my phone till date asking me to meet him for a discussion.

 

“Though I declined seeing him as it was already way past 12am, he called me the next morning while taking breakfast in company of my daughter and two prominent Urhobo chiefs when he called and sent me his room number to meet him.

 

“Not suspecting any foul play, I went to his room only to see him clad in towel and wantonly allowed the towel drop from his waist reveling his stark nudity while trying to grapple at me.

 

 “Unfortunately for him, my body camera was on as I was going for a meeting that needed to be videoed hence I got some clips of his actions.”

 

Threatening to press charges against the embattled Delta speaker, she said: “Though I waved the matter aside as him just being a Hot old man, I was surprised when I started hearing rumours that he told people that I made advances towards him.

 

“I have already briefed my lawyers and they would be filing charges against him anytime he steps his feet in the US,” she stated.

An alleged leader of the dreaded ‘White Ladder’ cult group in Sapele, Mr. Sunday Okoro, (AKA G1) a loyalist of the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembles, Mr Monday Igbuya, Thursday engaged men of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, (SARS) Police force Headquarters Abuja, in a gun battle, but however escaped into the bush with bullet wound.
Mr Okoro who is allegedly wanted by the police in connection for alleged murder, attempted murder, arson, and other crime was trialed by the team of police detectives from Abuja to Royal London hotel road, off Shell road Sapele, order one of his boys to open fire on sighting the policemen.
According to an eyewitness (name withheld) Mr Okoro was with four of his boys, but that when the policemen on mufti attempted to block his car, he allegedly order his boy at the front seat to open fire on the police and speed off in his car.
She added that, while chasing his car, the policemen also shot at his car leading to exchange of gun fire, and that sensing that the policemen would not be deterred, he abandoned his car and ran into the bush with his three other boys.
Confirming the incident, a senior police officer at the Sapele Divisional Police Headquarters’ who spoke to us anonymously, stated that Okoro and his boys flee into the bush with bullet wounds, stressing that the car with blood stains was recovered and is in police station.
However, attempt by our report to take a photograph car which is riddled with bullets packed at Sapele police state was not allowed by the policemen on duty; saying that the car has become an exhibit.
Okoro who is also standing trial for his alleged role in cult related crime in Sapele, at the Magistrate Court four, had asked the court presided over by Magistrate O. C Usiata, for two adjournments through his counsel to travel to India for medical attention, which was granted, but have remained in the town terrorizing witness to the case.
Meanwhile, one of the close associate of Mr Okoro who spoke to us but pleaded anonymity, confirmed that in an attempt to resist arrest by team of police detective from Abuja that the police shot at Okoro and other boys in the car as the flee into the bush.
He however, denied that Okoro ordered his boys to open fire on the policemen, according to him; “G1 didn’t know that they were policemen, he thought that they were assassins and he have to run for his life, he never shot at the police, it was the policemen that shot at his car as he speed off,” he add.

EFFURUN – A Peoples Democratic Party, PDP chieftain in Uwvie local government council of Delta State, Mr. Temabo Ukuwrere yesterday told the council acting chairman, Mrs. Stella Otiotio Dabonor that Uwvie is bigger than any individual’s ambition.

The party chieftain warned Stella Dabonor against pushing her ambition to damage Uwvie.

He noted that patriotic leaders know when to draw a line between their ambitions and the collective interests of their people.

Ukwuerere said Stella had shown desperation, restlessness and excessive ambition in her quest to become our council chairman, without considering the interests of the people.

Ukwuerere said: “The Acting Chairman is full of deceits. I want Uvwie sons and daughters to know that the crisis in our area is a plot caused by her to sieze power through the back door.”

The PDP chieftain said it was appalling that Stella allegedly runs to Asaba politicians with council funds to advance her ambition.

”Stella Dabonor is inciting Uvwie sons against the other. She would call Asaba politicians and tell them all sort of lies against Baro.”

“It is a pity that those who are supposed to act as the custodians of our political institutions should be part of the problem because of the money they collect.”

“Stella’s desperation is becoming too obvious and she has become so restless. She talks about people as if people do not know her in Uwvie before.

“Look at the way Stella became the acting chairman of our council– through violence, blackmail, slander and backbiting. If you remember vividly, Hon. Baro was removed from office by forces from Asaba. It was like a military coup. Stella came through back door.”

RE: ATTACK OF DELTA SHOPPING MALL

My attention has been drawn to a publication yesterday Friday 8th, January 2016, insinuating that I, Hon. Henry Baro, invited my community Youths to invade the Delta Shopping Mall.

I wish to state clearly that the story is false, and unfounded. I'm a peace loving person. A trailer hit with my car and drove away, but unluckily for him, the traffic got him stuck close to the round about, so I questioned him why he didn't bother to check with me, then the driver came down and started pleading that it was his motor boy. I was all alone and didn't even want to press the case further. Suddenly, a man came and was ordering me. I didn’t know he was a Naval officer attached to Shoprite since he wasn't in uniform so I asked him to introduce himself, he flared up, asking me if I was mad and warned me not to ask him again. Frankly, I told him it was important he introduced himself, next he held my t-shirt against my neck so tightly like a thief and brought out a dagger, he then beckoned on his colleague who crossed over the road to meet us with a gun and they forcefully took me to their Shoprite duty post. My simple crime was who am I to ask for his identity. His colleague used his gun to destroy my Toyota Venza side mirrors and anything glass and drove it to their yard. While all these was going on, onlookers raised alarm and sudenly Uvwie sons and mostly my supporters trooped in to rescue me and on seeing the mammoth crowd, he took a dock into the mall and frankly they went after him in protest. At this point it was still under control until street urchins hijacked the protest.
When i saw the crowd, I had to go into the mall to ensure the youths don't take undue advantage to rob as some criminal elements forced themselves into the shop.

As a law abiding citizen, I wish to sincerely apologise for the loss. I am not an advocate of violence let alone robbery. Again, am so so sorry. My supporters would never do such ugly thing because they know my interest in that Mall from land acquisition through construction and completion without single case of breach of peace.

The whole incident is regrettable.

We write to bring to your knowledge and swift action to call to order and tender an unreserved apology to ever cheerful and decent delta women the act of the gender bender Honourable Monday Igbuya the Speaker of delta state House of Assembly who has taken solace in not only attacking the delta women he ought to honouably represent and speak for but dishonourably branding them with vituperations and demeaning innuendos thereby casting aspersions on their goodwill and legacies.

It is common knowledge your excellency, the senate president that the abuse of these women by Honouable Monday Igbuya, calling them”Big Arse” in the most derogatory appendage to virtuous women by decency has spread and still spreading like wild fire in the south-south region and its environs. In the natural cause of events, we proceeded from these women, got nurtured and even after finding our feet continue to look on to them for succor, support, prayers and encouragement. Even in the face of daunting dangers and attacks, yet they continue to be our pillar of salt positively seasoning our thoughts.

Therefore one begins to wonder while an Honorable Speaker should heap barrage of indecency and unsavoury remarks on these great women. By the remarks of HON. Monday Igbuya, our women reputation, dignity, womanhood and virtue have been brought to public odium and ridicule.
We write to your good office to aid in solidarity in the total condemnation of this act of a legislator. As the mother umbrella of the law making house, we appeal you call to order Hon Igbuya Monday to refrain from the usage of such sarcastic language on virtuous women and tender an unreserved apology to deltans in general.
As activists affiliated to international bodies, we will not hesitate to make a public outcry to the international community as we equally believe that you can caution a law maker irrespective of state.

The pictures herein best describes the ugly state of Uvwie Local Government Council. An LG that was as clean as Garki when Henry Baro was on seat.

Yes Uvwie is now very dirty and unhealthy for people. Sadly, the Okowa and his cabals appears not to bother about it and the situation is getting out of hand.

Here is a man who promised ''Prosperity for all Deltan" during his campaign only to be practicing a different thing upon assumption of office. He unlawfully and illegally suspended a working council chairman. Hon. Baro is a victim of political supremacy between 'the former and the later'. Its unfortunate that an elected council chairman can be suspended without any investigation and as at the time of writing this, no step has been taken to reinstate him.

Okowa on a personal vendetta against Baro ignored the Will and good health of the people. Is this the ''Prosperity'' he preached or the peoples life does not matter to him?

Where is the ''prosperity'' if no good health to enjoy it?

On the 30th, September, we wrote an official letter addressed to the office of the governor, informing him of a careless and losse statement made by our basket mouth speaker, Hon. Monday Igbuya in which he described married and unmarried women as big arse.

Two weeks after, we're yet to get a response from the governor’s office and this has left us with the questions below.

Is Dr. Okowa a listening governor?
Does this Owa-Alero born Medical doctor turned politician respect women?

The acting chairman whom the state governor Dr Ifeanyi Okowa and the speaker of the house Monday Igbuya imposed on the people of Uvwie Local Government Council in delta state, Nigeria, Mrs. Stella Otiotio Dabonor, after the illegal suspension of the council Chairman Hon Baro.The said stella broke into the office of the Secretary of the LG Julius Uvwie today.
I guess we all know what is the definition of broke into; it is to enter (a house, office etc) illegally especially by force through breaking the locks. Now that we knw the definition, we can now boldly say that she is a bulglar. If the state Governor and Speaker of the house can impose a criminal on the people of Uvwie, it then means that these dual don't really mean well for the good people of Uvwie. No wonder they want to take away the man we voted for Hon Baro Henry, the one who has the interest of the Uvwie people at heart.

This must not be the democracy we all fought for.

The Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, and member representing Sapele constituency, Hon. Monday Igbuya has said that peoples opinion does not win elections.

Hon. Igbuya made the statement when Sapele stakeholders and some journalists met him to withdraw a statement credited to him in which he described married and unmarried women as big arse.

Hon. Igbuya said, "I'm aware that some women have been writing about me on the Internet to apologise to them. Let me tell you all, they are only making me popular. their opinions does not matter and can not win elections."

Recall that Hon. Igbuya while taking a swift at Chief Paulinus Akpeki described married and unmarried women as big arse.

Since the removal of Uvwie chairman the once clean town is getting dirtier by the day.

We the undersigned represent the interests of women in Delta State, set against a global perspective with respect to their standing and position in international affairs. Women in Delta State have been grossly insulted by the Honourable Speaker of Delta State. He has had the indecency to address women as "Big Arse".

We wish to put on record that steaptopygia is not anyone's business, and any attempt to brand women in lines of these assertions is nothing but body shaming and appearance based discrimination. It is not news that women are the backbones of every society as they mould and prepare individuals who emerge as Presidents, Governors and Speakers of House of Assemblies, a position Igbuya currently occupies, they are brilliant, hardworking, efficient and capable of discharging their duties just like their male counterparts irrespective of how big their "Arse" is according to Igbuya.

In as much as we would not want to join issues with the Speaker who was reacting to the defection of a member of the PDP to the APC, however his description of the women folks, an avenue of which he (Igbuya) was birthed, nurtured and breed. It's insulting on the female gender including the avenue of which he was birthed, to refer to them as "Big Arse".

It is on this premise that Delta Women is demanding an immediate apology within two weeks from the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly to apologies to women in the state for referring and describing them with such word else we would not fail to take necessary action against him. In the event that he fails to tender an unconditional apology, we shall mobilise all women in the state and the entire people of Sapele to recall him.

Following the very obvious situation that the Delta State House of Assembly Speaker, Mr Monday Igbuya will be kicked out by the election tribunal, we can authoritatively report that he has started running helter skelter to stop the impending doom.

According to a very reliable source, Igbuya whose plan to bribe the tribunal judges in the State through Mrs. Pat Ajudua failed have resorted to another means.

This time around, he has decided to do so through a prominent Northerner, who has influence among some judges in the country. On Friday 25th September, we gathered that he sneaked into Abuja by road in the evening to go shopping for his highly placed friend to help him to find a way in bribing the tribunal judges.

According to our source, the link man to this bribe is one Mr Yali Ibrahim who will link him with the judges, so as to grant access towards his victory in the tribunal after millions would have exchanged hands.

Various sources who confided in this medium confirmed that after the blow dealt him at the Benin court, he has had sleepless nights, pleading with his opponent, Felix Anirah through prominent Okpe Chiefs to drop the intimidating case at the tribunal; an appeal which Anirah has turned down.

The emptying of Delta State Local Government Council treasury by the Speaker, Delta State House of Assembly, Hon. Monday Igbuya is on the increase, as
sources revealed that the corrupt Igbuya collected three million naira each from the twenty five local government council chairmen for Sallah celebration.

According to a council Chairman who confided in us on the condition of anonymity disclosed that each council remits some money from the LG allocation to the Speaker as loyalty.

He added that failure to remit means the chairman is not loyal and may face Igbuya’s rot as in the case of the embattled Uvwie council boss, Hon Henry Baro.

Speaking further, he said ''I was shocked when Hon. Igbuya called last week informing me that the state governments has mandated all council chairmen to pay three million naira each for Sallah day celebration. I called my colleagues, they affirmed that he called them too, though I don't know what the money is meant for and you dare not ask else, the house may suspend you for not cooperating.''

It would be recalled that Hon. Odebala Ejefie crawled like a baby with tears before Igbuya as sources close to him hinted us that he failed to remit some percentage from Sapele council treasury to Igbuya.

It was not clear as at the time of filling this report what the Speaker would use the money for nor if the state government was aware as all efforts to reach him and his Press Secretary was futile.
