Besides, whenw as teh last time Benins faught any war? the Ijaws had been at war for that past 30 years and modern war not cutlass and spear. The Ijawshave two LGA in DElta State, they are our next door neigbours, so we know how dem B.If the fight start now, Ijaw go Burn houses in benin ,benin people nor go see anybody house Burn cos un nor fit come bayelsa. In short words, if and Ant petches on one's balls thats when they realize most troubles are not resolved fru violence!

ice4u999: This seaport matter, the Oba don they fight for this seaport for a long time, during his ambassador days before he even assented the throne o. For him is all about bringing that development to Edo State. The ijaws people just wan rear their head now
Keep ur development, do dry land port in benin city, yoruba people
ice4u999: Remember as these guys have oil companies under their control ? Now they heard about seaport then the next move was to elect a traditional ruler to claim benefits. Every tribe can appoint elders, no problem but a monarch under an area with existing chairman and not even inform the chairman but instead pay homage to another chairman in Bayelsa state. Aba now. There are processes in place for appointing kings. Can the binis or uhrobo or Yoruba or any tribe at all do the same in their area? No, because ijaws people will kill them.
My oga the lands in that area are all gone. How I know? I actually wanted to buy a land there when I heard of the seaport too. Only to find out that people in power don floor the area. I had to back out.
ice4u999: When a man discovered that he has no backing to what he is saying then he resort to insult.
At least I you have a problem at least we can find a solution but don't you think not knowing the source of your problem is bad problem.
Guy be a man explain your video. It is simple and no need for insults. If you can't explain it simply means that you have been branded with the honor of an ass wipe
Size or number does not imply superiority or quality, stop boasting about the number of Ijaw people, stop deceiving yourself. Those people you mentioned Esan, Owan, Etsako all acknowledged the Oba so stop your divisionist idea. Besides those languages are Edoid, would you also tell me that the Ijaws in Edo state speaksthe same language with those in rivers state?

Egharevba’s book titled, “The Short History of Benin’ (1968) to back our claims, we equally referred to Prof. Alan Ryder, a British national and former professor of history at University of Ibadan in his book, ‘Benin and the Europeans 1485-1897,’ Page 27, which states inter alia, ‘Whichever of the slave rivers the Portuguese frequented, the people they first met and traded with, would have belonged to Ijo (Ijaw) tribe, which at that time dominated the coastal belt of the swamp forest, extending inland to a depth of 30-40miles in the region.
