TonyeBarcanista:

If an African man tells his wife to give up her career for their marriage and family these ladies called feminists will take to spit fire and brimstone, calling the man old fashioned and stuck in the past. They will say he's denying them of being "independent" ladies.

If we tell our wives to quit social media and quit taking selfies with guys, the ladies will keep accusing us of being insecure, possessive and whatever...

But it is okay for the Royal Family to institute such rule. Nobody complain of restrictions anymore because royalty is involved. Humans and double standard...

Members of the Royal Family are living their family life the way it is designed to be by God and nature...

are you saying that the only reason a woman will give up everything is because of the financial or influential background

Every female has a natural vaginal scent that can change throughout her menstrual cycle. A strong odor however, can be a sign of an infection, particularly if she is sexually active.

Not all vaginal odors are caused by an infection, However. For example, poor hygiene or tight fitting clothing or fabric that doesn’t breathe can cause sweat and bacteria to get trapped which can cause and unpleasant odor.

Don’t be fooled by products such as douches or sprays that claim to “clean” your vagina. They can be harmful because they remove the fluids that naturally clean your vagina. These products (particularly the scented ones) can actually cause irritation.

Simply use soap and water to clean the outside of your vaginal area.

Rinse well and pat your skin with a towel until it is dry before you put your underwear on.

If your vaginal odor doesn’t go away, make an appointment with your health care provider and get checked out. There is treatment available.

Showering every day with mild soap and warm water usually does the trick to feel clean and fresh in general.

If you have a vaginal discharge, itching, or vaginal odor, it may be caused by a change in the bacteria that normally live in the vagina (bacterial vaginosis) or by a yeast infection. Certain sexual transmitted infections (STI’s) such as trichomoniasis can cause a different odor.

A woman’s vagina is naturally filled with bacteria but when there is an overgrowth, the condition is called bacterial vaginosis and causes a “fishy” odor.

Causes of vaginal odor are a forgotten tampon left in the vagina or not showering or bathing regularly. However, vaginal discharge can mean that you have a sexually transmitted infection, especially if you are having unprotected intercourse. See your health care provider to find out what is causing your symptoms and if you need medication. If you do have an infection, there is medicine that can cure it and the odor too.

It’s especially important to talk to your health care provider if:

You’ve had unprotected intercourse
You have a “different” vaginal discharge or itching
The vaginal odor (smell) doesn’t go away

Most ladies have a normal wetness or discharge that naturally cleans and moistens the vagina, but it should NOT have an odor. It’s NOT okay to douche or use strong soaps, deodorants, or perfume sprays near your vagina because it can upset the balance of good bacteria that are normally found in your vagina. These types of products can cause an allergic reaction, and/or irritation, and removes the good bacteria that are normally present.

Career / Your Job Won’t Always Be Fulfilling, Show Up Anyway. Oprah Winfrey Advices by adamasmag: 4:44pm On May 19, 2018
This year, the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism won the commencement speech lottery: Oprah Winfrey. USC brought together about 900 candidates for bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in communication, journalism, public diplomacy, and public relations to hear Oprah’s 23-minute commencement speech.

Oprah catered to her audience. For much of her inspirational and politically charged speech, she rallied the communications graduates to fight for the truth, exemplify honesty, and to remember their principles. Oprah encouraged her audience to pick a problem, any problem, and do something about it. “To somebody who is hurting, something is everything,” she said. “Use your gifts to illuminate the darkness in the world.”

Then she got to the nitty-gritty and practical. “I don’t have any new lessons,” Oprah said. “I often think that it’s not the new lessons, so much as it is really the learning the old ones again and again.”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Sip6xy1kIk

Your job won’t always be fulfilling. Show up anyway
Oprah told the audience she filmed 4,561 episodes over The Oprah Winfrey Show‘s 25-year run. She said she never missed a single day of filming. And still, even Oprah didn’t always like going to work.

“Your job is not always going to fulfill you,” she said. “There will be some days when you just might be bored. Other days you may not feel like going to work at all. Go anyway.”

She reminded the audience that your job is not who you are. “It’s just what you are doing on the way to who you will become,” she said. To build a fulfilling career, you need to put in the work even on the unfulfilling days while grinding through what may be unfulfilling jobs.

You need to keep showing up. Keep putting in the effort. Even when you don’t feel like it. Even when you have to do remedial tasks. Even when your boss takes credit for your ideas — which definitely will happen, Oprah warned the audience. In those challenging work situations, she said, there are lessons to be gleaned. She encouraged the graduates to use every uninspiring or difficult workday as a learning opportunity.

Earlier in her speech, she heralded the importance of being the person who can always be counted on. “Give your word. Keep it. Show up. Do the work. Get your hands dirty,” she said. “You build a legacy not from one thing but from everything.”

It takes diligent, consistent effort to grow your skills. And that’s how truly fulfilling careers are built. “The number one lesson I could offer you where your work is concerned is become so skilled, so vigilant, so flat-out fantastic at what you do that your talent cannot be dismissed,” Oprah said.

Nuggets of practical wisdom
Oprah also squeezed in a few pieces of practical advice about life in general.

Eat a good breakfast. It really pays off.
Pay your bills on time.
Recycle.
Make your bed.
Aim high.
Say thank you to people and actually mean it.
Ask for help when you need it.
Put your phone away at the dinner table.
Know what you tweet and post and Instagram today might be asked about in a job interview tomorrow — or 20 years from tomorrow.
Be nice to little kids.
Be nice to your elders.
Be nice to animals.
Know that it’s better to be interested than interesting.
Invest in a quality mattress. I’m telling you, your back will thank you later.
Don’t cheap out on your shoes.
And, if you’re fighting with someone you really love, for God’s sake find your way back to them because life is short, even on our longest days.
Don’t ever confuse what is legal with what is moral, because they are entirely different animals. In life, you are principled or you’re not. So do the right thing — especially when nobody’s looking.
Do not equate money and fame with accomplishment and character.
Oprah closed her speech by reminding every member of the audience to stop comparing themselves with others. “Your life journey is about learning to become more of who you are and fulfilling the highest, truest expression of yourself as a human being,” she said. “That’s why you’re here. You will do that through your work and your art, your relationships, and your love.”

Romance / Meghan Markle Gave Up Her Dream Life To Be With Her Dream Man,would You Do Same? by adamasmag: 3:58pm On May 19, 2018
Marriage is one of life’s milestones, marking a major change in a couple’s life. Which may be why some delay marriage longer than others. They may not be ready for all that the married life brings. Besides the obvious things like changing names, gaining in-laws, joining bank accounts, what other changes can couples expect when they make the move from being boyfriend and girlfriend, to husband and wife.

Perhaps you’re wondering what it would be like to be Markle, marrying into this legendary family with the entire world watching. Maybe you’re even–just a little bit–envious. But before you start wishing it was you marrying a royal instead of her, consider everything Markle must give up when she joins the Windsor family:

1. Her career.
Members of the royal family have very busy lives but they can’t have careers the way other people do. That’s giving up a lot for Markle, who was a successful actor. She was also an entrepreneur who published a popular lifestyle website called Tig. She officially ended both as part of her preparation for her wedding.

2. Her social media identity.
Markle had almost 3 million followers among her Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook accounts. She has had to delete them all. The royal family does not have its own personal social media accounts, instead royal family members have official accounts that are carefully managed by palace staff.
3. Signing autographs.
Markle, who starred in the TV series Suits is well accustomed to signing autographs, but she isn’t allowed to anymore. Members of the royal family don’t sign autographs because of the danger that they could be forged. Selfies are frowned on as well.

4. Political opinions (maybe).
Traditionally, the royal family does not run for political office or express political opinions, remaining neutral. Markle is a known feminist and she has expressed dismay at the fact that her marriage into the royal family has led to many comments about her race (she’s biracial). But from here on out, she’s likely to damp down or eliminate political comments in keeping with royal tradition.

Or maybe not. Monarchy watchers agree that Markle represents a new model of princess and they expect her to shake things up somewhat. Markle has been politically active so perhaps one of her innovations will be that she’s a bit more politically outspoken than is usual for a royal.

5. Her favorite food.
Markle’s favorite restaurant is reportedly a sushi restaurant in California. But members of the royal family–who have a busy schedule of appearances and can’t risk food poisoning–are not allowed to eat shellfish. They’re also discouraged from eating undercooked meat. So she likely has to say goodbye to her favorite dinner.

Food / Easy Ways To Become A Better Cook by adamasmag: 11:24am On May 05, 2018
Becoming a better cook like Chef Choima its not as difficult as you think. If cooking is not your piece of cake, you have to think again. Every man wants to go back home to his woman’s delicious delicacies and give her anything she wants.

Learn how to become a better cook, who knows your man may just buy you a porsche( joking). The benefits of your cooking skills are limitless, anywhere you find yourself and you are asked to cook, you will definitely leave a positive impression of yourself .

Check out the following tips on how to become a better cook.

1. Add to what you know
Constantly increasing your knowledge of cooking is important because you already know the basics of cooking and you are interested in improving your skills. Search for recipes on the web and in cookery books, read them through even if it is a recipe for a meal you think you have perfected. With Nigerian food recipes, and any other world recipe, there are often many ways to cook a meal and achieve the same results. So there’s always something new to learn.

When you eat a familiar meal and you notice an improvement in the taste, it is good to ask the cook what he/she did to achieve that.

2. Timing
This is one of the top tips of how to become a better cook because you may know all the ingredients you need, spend a lot of money on premium ingredients but get the timing wrong and all the money and time spent goes to nothing. Knowing the right time to add certain ingredients goes a long way to making your food taste better.

3. Organisation
Some things need to be done before you even light up the stove for example; you can take your time and cut up every vegetable that needs to be chopped, place them in separate bowls and set aside. This is so that once it is time to add these, it will be a matter of putting them into the pot rather than hurriedly washing and cutting them up just before you add them.

4. Attention to detail
Watch out for how your cooking can benefit from low, medium or high heat. Sometimes, you need high heat to get that white rice to dry quicker as medium heat will cause it to become soggy.

5. Have the basic tools you need
Something as basic as a chopping board is essential in the kitchen. It will help you cut the carrots or green bell pepper better as opposed to doing these without. It may be worth investing in that expensive blender because it gives you the best tomato puree etc.

6. Plan Ahead
It is a good idea to plan what you want to cook well ahead of time. This is so that you can be sure to buy all the necessary ingredients for preparing the recipe.

7. Choose your time carefully
It is best to cook when you are sure you will have minimal distraction. Do not plan to cook when your favourite TV programme is on air or on a day you brought some work home. The less you are distracted from your cooking, the better attention you will pay to the preparation of the meal. This way, there will be no burnt/overcooked meals later!

8. Give yourself plenty of time
Always give yourself plenty of time to cook your chosen recipe. With practice, you can estimate the time it will take to cook, say, a pot of fried rice before it is meal time. This way, you will not need to rush through your cooking. Also, if you invited friends over for a meal, you do not want to be dashing to and from the kitchen when you should be talking with your visitors.

9. Be adventurous in the kitchen
Feel free to throw a few vegetables in the frying pan to make your very own gravy. You can start by using your favorite vegetables, then eliminate and substitute later if you feel that some of them do not fit in the mix due to their taste or texture. Soon, you will be wowing your friends and family with a recipe that started as a concoction! Remember, it is your kitchen so play with the ingredients as much as you want.

10. Often does it
Practice, they say, makes perfect. The more often you cook, the more you learn new and better ways of the art of cooking. The frequency of cooking also boosts your confidence in the kitchen. Let’s say you cook Jollof Rice every weekend, you will be perfecting on the different stages of the cooking such as parboiling the rice more than if you cook it only once every 2 months.

We hope that at least one of the above tips will help you in your quest to become a better cook. Happy Cooking!

Career / Common Traits Of Successful Women by adamasmag: 9:37am On May 05, 2018
Successful women have common traits. Below are the traits highlighted that women can emulate from to become successful.

1. They play to their strengths.
This is not necessarily the same as doing what you love. You might love doing mosaics but you might not choose that for your career. Think about what you can do so well that you can dominate your field with time. You should also love it. But successful women often choose their career paths by thinking first about what they’re good at and second about what they love to do.

2. They have ambitions.
Successful women do not dream about being the best in their section or department. Their eyes are set on the best in the state or country, at least. Most want to change the world.

3.They stay positive.
Successful women know how to deal with disappointment in a way that keeps them from getting down and staying down. They know the future will be bright for them.

4. They’re organized.
The vast majority of people I interviewed said yes quickly, checked their calendars, booked a date and did the interview. No extra emails. Not many reschedules. They decide what they want to do and then they just do it—simple and organized.

5. They’re constantly learning.
These women do not stay static. They are continually improving themselves, and use mentors and coaches to accelerate their improvement.

6. They have a strong support system.
Most of the women I spoke to have a partner or family member who is supportive of what they do. They know they have somebody to lean on when needed.

7. They know failure and success go together.
Everyone has their failures on their way to the top. That’s just how it is.

8.They remain grateful.
These women give credit to those who’ve helped them along the way. They are grateful for what they have. They don’t take their current position for granted.

9. They work hard and persistently.
Nobody got to where they are now without working hard and staying persistent during the tough times. This might be obvious, but it’s a lot easier to say than to do.

10. They don’t sweat the small stuff.
Successful people are good at separating the valuable from the worthless.

11. They choose their battles wisely.
Successful women don’t make a big deal about every little thing. But if there’s a real problem, you can be sure that it will be swiftly solved.
12. They do what they believe in.
This is crucial. they belief in the purpose of their work is the fuel behind years of hard work and dedication.

13.They have confidence.
Successful women believe in themselves. It’s a beautiful thing.

14. They have a vision for the future.
Successful women see a new and better world in the future and work toward achieving those changes. They are in it for the long haul.

15. They feel successful, but never done.
There’s always more, always better, always further to reach. These women are seemingly tireless, ultimately devoted and constantly curious.

The moral of this story for me, They were not born with silver spoons in their mouths. True, they’re intelligent and focused. But they don’t have superpowers; they have determination, vision and purpose.

We can be that! We can do that!

Adamas magazine celebrates successful women and encourages younger women to become successful by inculcating successful traits.

Fashion / How Coffee Can Make Your Natural Hair Darker And Healthier by adamasmag: 6:46pm On Mar 21, 2018
Caffeine helps to keep people awake, right? Some researchers on the other hand have shown how too much of it is not good for your health - but did you know that caffeine also has some benefits for the hair; it promotes growth.

The length and quality of one’s hair depends on the health of the hair follicles.

Here are ways in which coffee benefits hair when topically applied:

Hair loss treatment: No woman likes to lose their hair as this even affects their self-confidence. Caffeine in coffee is great for hair. When a topical application is done on the hair or scalp, it finds its way to the roots and stimulates them.

Hair growth: Coffee stimulates the hair roots by improving its structure and growth. Caffeine can thus restore hair growth and/or prevent hair loss.

Manageable hair: Coffee brew can be used to detangle the hair; it makes the hair shaft stronger and smoother, making it easier to manage while giving it a natural sheen.

Hair mask: Coffee can also be used on hair as hair mask. A tablespoon of honey and olive oil each then add two teaspoons of coffee powder. Make a smooth paste then apply to the hair. Leave it on for about half an hour then rinse it off.

Rinse: Coffee hair rinse enhances the texture and the colour of your hair. Brew coffee as usual ensuring it boils, let the solution cool then use it as a final rinse for your hair after washing it. The result will be silky and smooth and will also help to slow or stop shedding.

Oil: Coffee oil increases blood circulation in the scalp and stimulates the roots of the hair. The phytosterols in the oil promotes moisture retention and absorption. Pour two cups of hair oil of your choice into a pan and add a quarter cup of roasted dark whole coffee beans. The darker the beans the more the benefits they offer.

Cover the mixture and allow to cook in low heat for about eight hours, ensuring you stir it at an interval of every one hour so that it does not burn. Remove from the heat and strain the mixture. Store the mixture in a cool, dark place. The oil can be used on the scalp, added to your shampoo or even added to the water of your final rinse.

Leave-in conditioner: After shampooing the hair, rinse it completely then gently squeeze excess water from hair. Pour brewed cool coffee into hair using a plastic container to catch the drippings. Continue pouring the coffee through the hair until all the drippings cease.

Allow to sit on hair for five minutes. You can then add your desired leave-in conditioner and wrap your hair for half an hour for it to absorb the ingredients. Rinse your hair with lukewarm water then cool water as final rinse. Style as you like.

Dye: The caffeine in coffee also helps to color the hair naturally, thus, it can be used as a natural dye for grey hair.

Romance / Lovely Compliments That Will Melt Your Man's Heart Anytime You Tell Him by adamasmag: 4:38pm On Mar 10, 2018
As women we should support our men morally, It not easy taking care of you, himself and the home.

Imagine coming back home to hear you nag or complain over trivial matters. The next time you find your man worried, moody or thinking about a contract, just say a few words to him and that will lighten up his day.

It is very easy to get carried away with the hustle and forget to say something nice to your man. When he is wearing his shirt compliment him, When he is driving tell him something nice, do it randomly and watch how special that will make him feel.

1. Compliments that show that you believe in him
One of the biggest things that makes a guy melt is when his partner supports him and believes in him.

Examples:

– I believe in you.

– I love how driven you are.

– Whatever you put your mind to, I know you’ll be able to achieve it. You always have.

– Of course people want to work with you/for you… people trust you and your abilities. As they should. You’re amazing at what you do.

– Of course you got a raise/that new job. You’re talented, hard working, and everyone knows it. I’m so proud of you.

– You’ve accomplished so much in your life already. I’m sure you’ll continue to go on to do many more great things. You’ll make the most of any situation that comes your way.

2. Body and appearance-specific compliments
Whether it’s his arms, hands, eyes, thighs, or private parts that are on the receiving end of the compliment, guys aren’t too picky.

Here are some examples of compliments that my male readers said touched their heart:

– You look so handsome.

– Wow… you weren’t kidding when you said you had been working out. Look at you!

– You look extra manly today. I like it.

– You look so handsome in that suit/tie/outfit!

– I love being wrapped up in your sexy arms.

– You look beautiful when you laugh.

– You look beautiful when you cry.

– You always look so handsome… even when you’ve just woken up and your hair is all messy.

3. Compliments that acknowledge his efforts
Everyone likes to be recognized for the effort that they put into their relationship.

Show him that you appreciate what he does for you. Even the simplest things. Notice and recognize it all. Whenever you appreciate something out loud, you tend to get more of it. And even if you don’t, you still get to make him feel loved.

– You’re so good to me.

– Thank you so much for cooking for me, love. I really appreciate it. And this is delicious!

-You can fix anything, can’t you?

– I love how gentle you are with me.

– Thank you for listening to me. I really appreciate you letting me vent.

– I noticed that you did (this) for me. Thank you for being so thoughtful. I really appreciate it. You’re very sweet with me and I love it.

– I loved seeing you playing with (mutual friend’s) kids earlier today. Your playful side is so sexy. I love that you can cut loose and have fun sometimes.

4. Compliments that show that you respect him
Several studies have shown that men feel respect as love and they put a higher emotional premium on feeling respected than necessarily feeling loved. While I don’t think that these studies necessarily mean much on the individual level, it’s important to note that your man likely wants to feel respected within your relationship.

Here are some ways to say it to him:

– You’re a good man.

– I’m proud of you.

– I have so much respect for you.

– You become a better version of yourself every time I see you.

– It took a lot of courage to admit you were wrong/apologize/have that tough conversation back there… I really admire that you were able to do that. It was very attractive.

– I love how forgiving you are with those closest to you. It took a lot of strength to be the bigger man back there and you couldn’t have done any better.

– I love how considerate/caring you are with my friends/parents/co-workers. You are so aware of other people and I really appreciate it.

5. Compliments that show that you trust him and his ability to lead
Blame social conditioning, biology, or whatever else you’d like to, but the majority of men have a deep level love of being seen as the leader in their lives and relationships.

Let him know that you see him and that you trust his way of being in the world by saying a few of the following:

– I trust you.

– I’m on your side.

– You’ve never steered us wrong in the past.

– I would follow you anywhere.

– You always give the best advice. You’re so smart.

6. Compliments that show that you are affected by him
Essentially all men know the feeling of having someone walk past them who is so attractive that they go weak in the knees. The intoxicating rush of attraction that we feel is a potent one.

Let him know that you feel something similar when you are around him.

– I can’t help but blush around you.

Health / Facts About Dysmenorrhea ( Menstral Pains) And Natural Ways To Cure It. by adamasmag: 11:32am On Feb 16, 2018
Painful menstruation is known as Dysmenorrhea which literally means “difficult menstruation”. Each month when the uterine lining sheds as menstruation, the uterus must contract. In women with dysmenorrhea the contractions are very painful. The uterus may even spasm. Pain can be localized to the lower abdomen, but it can also be in the lower back, in the vulva, as well as radiating down the thighs. This wave like pain is often accompanied by headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea. The pain can begin up to 24 hours before menses begins and usually lasts for the first 48 hours once menses begins. In some women the pain may last up to 72 hours once menses begins.

Painful menstruation is one of the leading causes for women to miss work.

If you have extremely painful menstruation it is important to talk to your doctor about this. It is important to rule out if what you are experiencing is actual Primary Dysmenorrhea, or Secondary Dysmennorrhea. Primary means that it is the first issue, whereas secondary means there is another health issue causing or contributing to the painful menstruation. For example; Secondary Dysmenorrhea is often caused by endometriosis, ovarian cysts, or uterine fibroids. There may also be other factors that are causing pain that may also need to be ruled out, such as IBS, constipation, UTI, ect. If you know that you have other fertility issues that are the underlying cause of your menstrual pain, it is important to address those issues as well. While it is always easier to treat pain acutely (when it is happening) rather than address the root cause, it is very important to find out what is causing the pain in your body.

Below are some natural remedies to help treat menstrual cramping when it is happening, but also remedies and mind/body practices to consider long term to help relieve your menstrual cramp pain forever!

Nutritional Considerations First!
That’s right, getting adequate nutrition every day should be top priority! Considering that Dysmenorrhea is an inflammatory state in the body, it is important to avoid foods that increase inflammation response. High glycemic foods are known to increase levels of inflammatory chemicals in the body, including PGF2. When looked at holistically both doctors, naturopaths and herbalists agree that an anti-inflammatory diet is important.

Avoid refined carbohydrates

Stick to whole grains like oats, millet, brown rice, quinoa, ect. Eat only 3 servings of grains at most a day.

Eliminate sugary foods and processed sugar. Choose very limited amounts of honey or agave. Choose Stevia as a sweetner when possible.

Consider eliminating dairy. Dairy products are congesting to the body and many doctors have seen a reduction in menstrual cramp pain in women who eliminated dairy products. If you choose dairy, try to purchase organic or organic raw dairy only to avoid added hormones.

Reduce red meat and egg yolk consumption to at most 2-3 times a week. This is because both red meat and egg yolk are high in arachidonic acid (AA). This has been found to increase cellular inflammation in some people. To find out if you are senstive to AA, eliminate red meat and egg yolk for a month. Reintroduce it and see if your symptoms come back. Choose organic free range meats and eggs when possible to avoid added hormones.

Eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables!

Important Nutritional Supplements

Whole Food Multivitamin

Be sure to take a good whole food

Multivatamins

This will help you to maintain adequate nutrition. Many of do not consume enough fresh foods because of our food system, therefore our nutritional levels are lacking what our bodies need each day to function properly.

Vitamin A
Be sure to get enough Vit. natural whole food source (cod liver oil) or beta-carotein (carrots). This will help to keep estrogen levels regulated.

Magnesium
Magnesium helps to relax smooth muscle tissue. It has been shown to reduce menstrual cramping greatly. Magnesium deficiency is a leading cause of menstrual cramps.

Omega 6
Are you getting enough Omega-6 fatty acid? Both Borage oil and Evening Primrose Oil are high in Omega-6 fatty acids. Omega-6 fats can assist fertility by improving reproductive cell structure, decrease risk of inflammation and improve the condition of organs in the body. Borage and EPO tone the uterus. Honestly it is best to take a complete essential fatty acid supplement. This will help you to get a wide variety of EFA’s!

Digestive Upset with Inflammation
Ginger: If you experience nausea, vomiting or diarrhea due to painful cramping and hormonal changes, ginger is one of the best herbs to soothe the stomach. It is also anti-inflammatory. Also see Chamomile.

Anxiety, Nervous Tension, Irritability with Menstrual Cramps
Chamomile: This sweet little flower is both anti-inflammatory and antispasmodic. It is also helpful for women with digestive constipation contributing to pain. Because this herb is also a nervine and mild sedative it may help to reduce stress, relax the nervous system and induce a restful state in the body. This can be very useful when experiencing menstrual cramping accompanied by anxiety and irritability. Chamomile is best sipped as a tea during menstruation.

Romance / Enjoying Valentine's Day As A Single Lady by adamasmag: 11:00am On Feb 08, 2018
Being single doesn’t mean that you need to find Valentine’s Day a depressing occasion. You can still treat yourself and feel good about where you are in life. This article provides a range of ideas for doing things to participate “in spirit” while keeping up your spirit; or, you can simply treat it like any other day.Valentine’s Day is meant for that special someone in your life. Who says that special someone can’t be you? You work hard for the money and St. Valentine wasn’t going steady with anyone. So spend the day treating yourself to indulgences the Saint himself would want you to have!

1 Make the day about self-care. Do things that make you feel good and relaxed. Focus on activities that soothe you and put your mind at ease. The most important love you’ll ever have is the love of self. Be kind to yourself in mind, body, and spirit. Consider these ways to unwind and let go.
Get a massage
Go to a day spa
Take a hot bath or shower
Listen to music while having a drink of your choice. Hot chocolate. Tea. Wine. Beer. Whatever makes you feel good.
Read a book or some magazines
Watch some movies or TV shows that you love. Consider avoiding the sappy stuff that puts you in a bad mood about Valentine’s Day.

2. Get chocolate. Who says you need someone to buy it for you? Get a box of chocolate and enjoy it. Chocolate releases endorphins in the brain to make you feel good! So a little chocolate will actually improve your mood and make you feel better.

3. Give Valentine’s Day cards or goodies to others. Remember when you were a kid in elementary school? You may have given out Valentine’s Day cards to other classmates at school. You were taught to be kind and show love to everyone. Take action and give back to those around you.

Give Valentine’s Day cards to show support for your friends, family, and co-workers. Valentine’s Day cards don’t have to be only romantic in nature. They can be fun, playful, and happy.
Bring some treats to work or school to share with others. Make sure that others feel appreciated on this day. Other people just like you may feel left out. Remind them that today is about being supportive and kind.
You should also realize that there are less fortunate people around the world, you may feel depressed about yourself not having a boyfriend/girlfriend, but there’s plenty of people who do don’t even have a home, food, freedom, and other essentials. Your situation pales in comparison to people who live under dictatorships and/or third-world poverty. Try volunteering at a homeless shelter or donate goods to third world countries. You will realize how lucky you still are and not worry about not having a mate too much.

4. Don’t compare yourself to other people. If you’re the type who imagines folks secretly pointing at you on the street and laughing at your single status, you’re spending way too much time measuring yourself against supposedly happy, snuggling couples, Avoid doing such

5. Do something nice for another person. Open a door for someone who needs it, volunteer at a church, buy a rose and give it to someone random on the street, whatever you do, will make you feel full of love inside.

6.Don’t feel sorry for yourself. This will just make the day depressing and dreaded. Instead, be excited for this day. After all, it only comes once a year.

Stay Happy and cheerful ,your validation is not in your relationship status.

If you like these tips on how to enjoy your valentine’s day as a single kindly reach out to us and leave a comment.
