Thank you so much.

Hello Adaobiada,

I don't know about Edubond .

For your covid19 related question, you don't need to be vaccinated.

Covid19 Cert or Negative Covid19 Test certificate is no longer a requirement to traveI to Ireland ,however, check if it is a requirement to travel from Nigeria. I remember in January, passengers were required to upload proof of vaccination/negative covid19 result taken within 48hours prior to departure when checking in online and also show copy before boarding from Nigeria airport.

Please, see latest update from gov.ie about

Travelling to Ireland

From Sunday 6 March 2022, travellers to Ireland are not required to show proof of vaccination, proof of recovery or a negative PCR test result upon arrival.

There are no post-arrival testing or quarantine requirements for travellers to Ireland.

Any individual that develops COVID-19 symptoms while in Ireland should follow the HSE guidance in relation to isolation and undertaking antigen or PCR testing as appropriate.

https://www.gov.ie/en/publication/77952-government-advice-on-international-travel/#travelling-to-ireland

I hope this clarifies your covid19 related question.

Kind regards,

Louis

Hello Everyone,

Is it still possible to apply for Edubond after visa has been approved?
If yes, what option do I pick for Edubond on the Tradesystems website?
How long after I get to Ireland will the Edubond funds be released to me?

Also do I have to be vaccinated or a Covid test result is enough?

Thank you

[How about if you have paid 92% of the total fees and have the 8% balance and living expenses in your account? Do you still need edubond?]

Use 4m out of that 10m to purchase an education bond. Trust me, it will save you a lot of head ache.

Edubond is the surest way to avoid finance related refusal.

Once you show just 10m balance,
1. they will look at inflow and outflow
2. Check if you provided receipts or evidence for lump sum lodgements
3. Request for TCC
4. Scrutinize your relationship to sponsor
5. Feel as if the money might still not be enough. Etc

It happened to me. I got refused even though I had sufficient balance

I had to appeal after applying for edubond.

I was hella scared I would loose my money but I didn't.

Submitted my edubond receipt and got the visa

She doesn’t have enough funds to sponsor me.

I have a job, I can sponsor myself. I’m just scared they might think I’m too young ( 25yra old) ]

Hello everyone,
Please if I get my mom to gift me some of the money I need and I get a gift deed, do I still need to show her account statement?

Also do I need to proof that she is my mom?

Please help

Thank you so much..
By Gods grace I’ll be back to post when I get approved.

There is no age limit to self-sponsoring/ sponsorship. So far you can provide convincing proof and documentation for source of income and source of finance then you are good to go.

All the best.[/quote]

Hello everyone,
This is my first time contributing on Naira land although I always read threads.

I just got admitted for Meng to study in Ireland for September 2022, I got a €1,500 scholarship my tuition is now €13,500.

I’m 24years old and I’ll be sponsoring myself, I have a day job, I freelance and also trade forex.

It is normal that I’ll be sponsoring my self?
I don’t have anyone to sponsor me.

Yes I’d have paid my full tuition before visa application, what are my chances of getting approved?

Thank you in advance for your response.
