u did better believe him 100% , cos what he told u 100% correct ...your philosophy is no longer important to them anymore as long as the sim is registered to your bank account they wil have their way and clear the daily limit in your account, they wil continue the next day till the whole money is cleared while u are stil worrying about a missing phone , u wouldn’t be receiving alerts anyway.

Most of those guys work with bankers. One 419 guy once called me, he told me my full name(I mean my first name, middle name and surname. He told me my date of birth(correctly) and then told me there was a mistake when opening my account and he needed to rectify it. He even told me the bank I use. All these shows he got the information from a banker. It was when he asked for my ATM numbers, I knew he was a scammer.

Nobody wants to take the blame/fault. Lemme quickly reveal something that happened recently.

So y'all remember all the backlogs of items that landed last month yeah? So i had about 12-13 iPhones and most were already sold as DEAL ALERTS. Now it was discovered that an iPhone 7 was missing, i reached out to Omic who received my items and he confirmed it, then i told Lionlee who agreed to replace the phone or refund me. I told the buyer about the situation and he said he would appreciate a refund and i communicated to Lionlee. Of which i got to know that lotta items were missing and pickers (LionLee/Daaz) were refunding people so i told Lionlee to send 70k out of 79k paid by buyer, i added the remaining 9k (Note that i bought the phone for 75k, so thats 4k loss for me if you do the maths well).

From the same shipment, Nymphomaniac picked up his items and one iPhone 7 plus was not as described or lets say the item was different from the picture lionlee sent to me. It was obvious the item must have been mixed up either from LionLee in Chicago or from Sene in Ibadan which was very glaring to Nympho himself cos i sent him the pictures Lionlee sent me. Nympho asked me what we should do? I told him to check for an engineer who can solve the issue, fortunately it was casing (scratches and dents at the edges). At the end of the day, he told me it would cost 9k to fix and said i should send whatever i have, i sent him 4500 (50-50). Till now, i didnt even tell Lionlee216 because i felt its something i can handle/help with, he'd just be reading it here now.

In conclusion, this pick up business is 50/50 either as buyer or seller. Deal Hunters dont make almighty profit like most people think, let us all be our brothers keepers and help one another, it might be your turn tomorrow. Thats why even in the law court, there's out of court settlement/plea bargain aka soft landing.

You are right Bro, some think deal hunters make super money from it. If some people know the profit they make on an item, they won't price like Akara.

Another thing is that, personally I advise anyone buying from me to wait till it gets to Nigeria, I see the condition before giving to him or change ownership. (I've seen a situation when someone who bought an item cracked it the day he collected it and wanted to claim it arrived damaged, thank God I saw it when picking up other items...) So, if I change ownership and u collected an item in Nigeria claiming it arrived damaged, I will never refund such person... It's better you wait, we both see the item together as described then I give it out. Deal hunters risks are so much that low-ballers should not be welcome.

This deal hunting and buying from the US is 50/50. I remember getting a 6 plus from a dealer(name withheld). The picture provided showed the imei and all. On picking up from ibl, I turned the phone and discovered the screen was damaged. It was touching and pressing on its own. When I press one, two will pop up. I couldn't even access the imei info. I contacted Chisom instantly but then I remembered, this man showed me the picture of the phone including the imei which daaz snapped and sent to him. I instantly knew the screen got messed up in transit, fell off from someone's hand or something like that. I jeje took the phone to computer village and repaired the screen for 9k(thank God it's iPhone, for say na Samsung ehn, I for no gree walahi talai). I didn't lose, I didn't gain. At the same time, I've bought deals from people without issues. So it's a 50/50 stuff
