Education / Still On ELTS 3 - Reading by adecarex(f): 12:00pm On May 26, 2020
Hello everyone, trust we all are doing fine? Special thanks to those reaching out to me as regards IELTS. Today I want to give out a few tips on IELTS reading. Like I said in my previous post, the reading test comes in two forms; general and academics depending on whichever one you register for. There are 13 questions types for both exam format. The major difference comes in with the contents. General reading has short texts that are excerpts from advertisement, school brochures, job vacancies and many others. Academic readings are passages from journals, publications and many others. May I say that different question types has different tips for acing it. Overall, many people are of the opinion that academic reading is more difficult when compared to general reading because the former do have long passages while the latter has short texts except for the third passage which could be somehow long most times. As a tutor, I'd advice that you master the skill that is needed for each question type before rushing ahead. Till I come your way again, I am Adenike, a Pro IELTS tutor.

Education / Still On IELTS 2 by adecarex(f): 12:02pm On May 18, 2020
Hello everyone, trust we are keeping safe. What a good day of the week.
Everyone is doing IELTS I also what to do it. The question is what do you need it for?
80k is quite good for something else than to waste it around.
Here is my advice;
Do a thorough research on what you can use IELTS for and see if you really need to sit for it. Many schools do not really need it especially if you have proofs that you were instructed in English during your undergraduate studies though they still list it under admission requirements. However, some embassy do request for it even after the school you are applying to has waived it for you so do your research on this.
In addition, there is a good probability that CRS score will drop for those who are looking into migration to Canada and there will be massive rush after the pandemic is over. So why not do your online classes with a tutor now (that's if you think you need one) and sit for the exam ASAP after the pandemic.
This is what I have for you today. Have a great week.
Till I come your way again, I am Adenike, IELTS tutor.

Thanks.
Education / Still On IELTS by adecarex(f): 11:45am On May 15, 2020
Thanks to those who responded to my post yesterday,your response brought me here again today. IELTS is not as difficult as many people paint it to be. During this lockdown,many people have been encouraged to write their exams online,due to this, a lot of people have been a victim of failure. You know yourself. Don't let anyone or any appealing advert push you into what you are not capable of. If you could sit for paper based and you aren't doing well what gives you the impression that computer based will pay you. Don't get me wrong, for those who think they can do the computer based and do it well why not.... But if you can't wait till the lock down is over. In fact the good news is IELTS is now available for those who wants to register. I got a call from one of my students residing in Abuja that he was scheduled for a speaking test today.
Till I come your way again. Am Adenike, an IELTS tutor. You can reach me on 08031102845
Education / What Is IELTS And What You Can Use It For.....follow Up Information by adecarex(f): 11:21am On May 14, 2020
To make my previous post complete, detailed and beyond missing words.... I don't register people for IELTS exams. I only prepare people for the exam.
In addition, you need a valid international passport to register for the exam.
Thank
