Politics / Account Of Stewardship & Request For An Opportunity To Make More Impact: Hon. by Adedeji8323: 1:57pm On Oct 12, 2022
To The Constituents,
Sagamu 1 State Constituency,
Ọfin Sagamu.
Dear Sir/Ma
ACCOUNT OF STEWARDSHIP & REQUEST FOR AN OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE MORE IMPACT

About this time 4 years ago, we kicked off the campaign for my election into the office as the member representing the good people of Sagamu 1 State Constituency at the Ogun State House of Assembly. It was an hectic one but by the support of God and you my constituents, we won massively in 9 out of the 10 wards that makes up the constituency.

After the inauguration of the 9th Assembly, I was elected by my peers as the Deputy Majority Leader of the OGHA and I later became the Deputy Leader which gave me ample opportunity and privilege to make solid representation on behalf of my people.

Knowing full well that the primary duty of a legislator is to make laws for good governance and carry out oversight functions, I had with the support of my colleagues being able to either sponsored or co-sponsored several bills & motions among which are:
~ A bill for a law to establish the Ogun State Public Complaints & Anti-corruption Commission law & for other related matters
~ A bill for a law to amend the Ogun State Fiscal Responsibility Commission & for other related matters
~ Ogun State Security Network Agency bill
~ A bill for a law to make provision for the OGHA Legislative Funds Management and other matters connected therewith
~ A bill for a law to amend the Ogun State Public Procurement law
~ Motion for the incorporation of the local security bodies like Vigilantes, Àgbẹ́kọ̀yà etc into the State Security Architecture
~ Motion on the need for the state government to procure fire engines for each of the divisional/zonal fire stations across the state
~A bill for the Public-Private Partnership law and other related matters
~ A bill for a law to provide for an approved method for the selection, appointment & recognition of Obas, Chiefs & Traditional Councils in Ogun State
~ The Ogun state audit 2019
~ The Ogun State Sports Council law among others.

Aside that, despite the fact that it's not the duty of a legislator to carry out capital projects and that neither was I given any fund from the government coffers to do so, I with the support of God had been able to carry out several capital projects across the 10 wards in the constituency from my personal purse.
Some of these are several Water Projects, renovation of Classrooms, donation of brand new Generators, procurement of Tools and Equipments for several artisans, Grading of many roads, provision of market security Lights backed with Generator, donation of 9 inches Blocks to different schools, organisations & market, repair of drainage, culverts etc.

I've also been able to use my good office to facilitate the employment of several constituents into the state civil service, teaching hospital, Ogun-Teach etc.
I've also facilitated either the total or partial rehabilitation of several roads in Sagamu LG, clearing of blocked water channels in various communities and wards.

I've extended hands of love to the widows, the elderlies, party members, schools, health centres, religious bodies and leaders etc.

My Constituents, as our elders says "ARÍṢE LARÍKÀ, I had passed through many corridors, done a lot, acquired loads of experience that's needed for making laws, facilitating projects, navigating the murky waters of governance and politics all in order to serve you better. I'm using this opportunity to appreciate you all for your support and to ask for your renewed support to make SHITTA CONTINUA a reality.

Kindly support us LẸ́Ẹ̀KAN SÍI to MAKE MORE IMPACT by voting APC all the way.

"IF YOU GIVE A MAN A FISH HE WILL EAT A MEAL BUT IF YOU TEACH A MAN HOW TO FISH HE WILL EAT MEAL THROUGHOUT HIS LIFE TIME"

This is also the same as leaving a man IDLE and watch him commit all sort of DEVILISH activities and also become a nuisance in the society!

This is what the Deputy Leader of Ogun State House Of Assembly (OGHA) and the member representing the good people of Sagamu 1 State Constituency has taken into cognisance by engaging the hands and minds of the people of his constituency for better and profitable future.

Politics / Re: Inextricably Interwoven Of Efuwape Funmilayo Picture For Ogun Funmilayo by Adedeji8323: 11:20am On Dec 25, 2020
Just as the news of the political debacle of the Southwest PDP, whereby the PDP Caretaker Committee of the Zone are having a toxic relationship with the Governor of Oyo State, Engr. Seyi Makinde.

It came to our notice seeing the news on the social media handlers with the picture of the Commissioner for Women Affairs And Social Development in Ogun State, Hon. Mrs Efuwape Funmilayo being used as against the said member of the Committee, Mrs Ogun Funmilayo who is a member of the 12 caretaker committee of PDP in Southwest Zone.

We urge the public to denounce themselves from the publication as Hon. Mrs Efuwape Funmilayo is a full member of the All Progressive Congress(APC) in Ogun State and also a stakeholder of the party and at such, she has nothing to do with PDP or the Governor of Oyo State Engr. Seyi Makinde in his Political Spectrum.

Politics / Democracy Day: No Reason To Celebrate - Sosanwo by Adedeji8323: 11:12am On May 29, 2018
An Aspirant who is contesting for the House of Representatives in Remo Federal Constituency , Engr. Sosanwo Adeola has described the growth of Nigeria economy as 'stunded', saying it is not worth celebrating.

He said this while giving his opinion that God has blessed Nigeria with so much potentials for growth but it is still acting like a toddler.

Democracy Day is a public holiday in Nigeria celebrated annually on May 29.

“How can we celebrate stunted growth? When you have all the potentials to develop far beyond where we are today, we know where the BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa) countries were several years ago and we know where they are now and they didn’t even have what we have in Nigeria.
“Yes we can mark the Democracy day but definitely not celebrating it.
“There is a difference between ‘marking’ and ‘celebrating’, the English dictionary is very clear, you ‘celebrate’ when you are happy and rejoicing but you ‘mark’ something on the calendar and that is all we should be doing.”
According to him, everything boils down to the economy and when any country develops its economy, it will develop politically and every other thing will develop including job creation and security.
“All these things are tied together and are inseparable. When you get the economy right, every other thing can be added. Here you a nation that is so blessed and you find people who cannot have a meal a day; not three square meals but just one! You claim to be a giant yet your people cannot feed, your people cannot go to school, your people are not safe!
“A lot of people are misunderstanding this rebasing of the economy, Nigeria has been the largest economy in past years; it is not a new development just that it is now they did the rebasing.
“The population is great alongside other factors. But this has not trickled down to the grassroots and this prompted me to established a Non Governmental and Non Political Organization(SAS FOUNDATION) in all the zones in Remo Federal Constituency so as to give back to the society. The country economy is trickle down and those in the helm of affairs have been silent . What we are is just the largest economy on paper and this amounts to nothing,” he insisted.

He urge the people of Remo Federal Constituency to vote for him as a member of the House of Representatives cum 2019.

It is time to break the bad habit of expecting something for nothing, from our government or from each other. Let us all take more responsibility, not only for our families and us but also for our communities and our nation.

In other to renew Remo Federal Constituency, we must revitalize our democracy. Remo need this time God fearing individual who would man all elective position, especially the House of Representative come 2019.

Engr Adeola Sosanwo is a noble son of Remo who is prepared if given the opportunity to occupy the House of Representative in other to legislate for the good of the masses and the down trodden.

He will not forget those people whose toil and sweat he would by God's grace ride to power if elected come 2019.

Remo deserve better, and in this province today, there are hundreds who want to do better; fortunately Engr Sosanwo is leading the sect.

Given him the opportunity will do Remo Federal Constituency more good.

Remo House of Representative 2019, Engr Sosanwo is the choice.
