Firefire: Final word:
I want to encourage our people, particularly APC people, to shine their eyes.
They must shine their eyes this time around and not allow anybody to pull the wool over them.
They have their votes, their rights, and they must go all out to ensure that we have and enjoy free, transparent, and just primaries. And that whoever emerges must be the product of that process.
They must be ready. They shouldn’t feel intimidated by anybody because nobody is god.
For me, I want them to believe that there is God and all of us are creations of God and we have equal rights to aspire to anything.
And you need not have any godfather (Tinubu) before you can be anything, particularly in APC.
What you need are your constituents, once they support you, you must be able to sail through. Not until one godfather (Called Tinubu) or the other endorses you.
- Muiz Banire One must admire the bravery. Sacrificing his position in the scheme of things and speaking against a benefactor that has obviously become power drunk and lost his way. Muiz Banire is a true hero. |

ola6: Oga, Agbage will be the walkover. To win is way way more than talk talk. Again, koro has the stamina and ruggedness to stand Tinubu, agbaje doesn't. Once Tinubu ole threatens to kille Agbaje like he killed Williams , Agbaje will soft pedal Koro will not! Thats the KEY difference.
If Agbaje and his speeches were so popular why did he lose WOEFULLY in 2007?
Fashola got 900k votes, koro 700k, agbaje 20k *(rough estimates)
Bro, khaki no be leather o! Makes sense |

ola6: Because you are god abi and you said so so it must be so.
My opinion, if pdp know what they are doing they should field Koro. He has the stamina and clout to face the bastard thief who lives in burdillion.
Agbaje ko jebade ni. He is only popular among the online activist and a few offline who are in the upper social strata. Korobucci is the word on the street. I know neither of them in person but giving an objective opinion. However, if Agbaje wins, then agbaje it is. Apc is waiting for you to field Koro.. Walkover. Only Agbaje can rattle because of sentiment |

OAUTemitayo: some people can dream. Muiz Banire himself was a former product of imposition. How was he a product of imposition when he never contested for any election but was always an appointee? Commissioners are not imposed but appointed based on track record/ pedigree Get your facts straight |

najoke: This is why APC is different......they embrace criticism, they allow members/invited speakers(Oby) to express themselves without fear or favour
Can a PDP member say the same and still remain in the good book of PDP or an invited guest say bad and Ruben, Reno or Okupe no go collect mic for their hand. This is very true. A national officer with so much liberty is a good thing..but is the lion of Bourdillon happy? Only time will tell |

More take away's from the Paper
Our political office holders must develop love for public service. We must banish sycophancy and favouritism to the woods. We must ensure that candidates emerging on the platform of our party command good interest in the development of our society and have the moral and educational wherewithal to deliver to the people.
The party must develop mechanisms for monitoring how our public officers are performing in office
sent out some of my lieutenants to listen to public conversations in public buses, markets and other places of public patronage weeks preceding the election. The reports indicated that the general populace who were well aware of the chicanery and selfish campaigns of these retrogressive elements within the civil service, was resisting the unfortunate agitation to vote mediocrity and backwardness.
A most important lesson to all is that no fortress is stronger for a leader than the protection afforded by his people
“For this reason the best possible fortress is – not to be hated by the people, because, although you may hold the fortresses, yet they will not save you if the people hate you, for there will never be wanting foreigners to assist a people who have taken arms against you
A very important lesson which men of ancient days have taught us but which we often jettison is not to cause factions among the populace. Nigeria is a volatile State when it comes to religion and ethnic irredentism and township prejudices. Several wars have been fought based on these negative emotions and sentiments which have never been beneficial to us as a people.
This man is really spitting fire!!! |

jaymichael: Muiz Banire has made a very important point i always think about. Political accountability should be to the people and not to Political patrons. Good governances, service delivery to the people should come first before the interest of some "godfather". In all their actions, overriding public interest should be pivotal. Indeed so. Godfatherism should be abolished once and for all..and it's worse when it's the Apc leaders that castigate GEJ and play the victim card whenever he flexes 10% of his muscle, that are the most undemocratic in the party running of their respective states. |
