They are only doing that because Subsidy is really back, the landing cost of petrol is over 1000 so they'd buy at 1000 and sell to suppliers at below 600 which means for every 1 litre of fuel you're using in Nigeria Government are subsidising it with at least 400 while maintaining the lies that subsidy is gone! The reason it's bad is because NNPC will continue it's subsidy scam running into trillions of Nigeria while your president is shameless enough to broadcast recently that there's nothing like subsidy, he's confused and not bold enough to admit that he's failed on his number one promise of removing fuel subsidy.
