PoliticsRe: Getting Rid Of Tinubu Remains The Number 1 Challenge For Buhari Administration by adekole(op): 9:10pm On Apr 29, 2015
How is this true? If Tinubu is corrupt why hasn't he been prosecuted even with GEJ as President?
That is the point.
Jonathan or Obasanjo couldn't probe Tinubu because these people are not only corrupt as well, but also keep corrupt friends. This is why we can not afford to have Buhari keeping dirty friends...the end result will be the same old story.

Buhari must get rid of Tinubu asap, so that everything else could make sense.
PoliticsGetting Rid Of Tinubu Remains The Number 1 Challenge For Buhari Administration by adekole(op): 8:55pm On Apr 29, 2015
There is no way Buhari will be able to do his job accordingly as the president of Nigeria when people like Tinubu still lingers around his brand new administration.

President Buhari must quickly discover a perfect strategy to disable Tinubu... Is either he probes him or set him free. Something must be done within the first 100 days, or else Tinubu will once again get comfortable and turn things into business as usual.

Regardless of the end result, Buhari must take action. This is the only way many inside and outside Nigeria will take this new administration seriously.

How do you arrest or probe thieves when your best friend is also a thief? It makes no sense...Therefore, for me, Tinubu remains the number 1 challenge for Buhari...everything else can be dealt with accordingly.

He forgot to list the number 1 Challenge: TINUBU

PoliticsShameless Tinubu Is Trying To Pick Oil And Finance Ministers For Buhari's Admin by adekole(op): 3:17am On Apr 15, 2015
Let us all see who APC will pick as Ministers. That will give us an indication of how serious they are. Already there are speculations out there that Tinubu wants Mofe Boyo (Wale Tinubus partner) for Oil and Wale Edun for Finance.
The Hausa people too have their nominations for those slots. So, there is already a sign that there will be a major conflict among the APC members.

Something is certain, there is no way Buhari's administration will be successful if Tinubu is allowed to hang around.
His greed for money and power is unbelievable.
But something tells me that he will surely be disappointed.... Simply because Hausa people will not allow him to have his way.

For sure, Buhari's regime will not be business as usual.

I still think it isn't a bad idea for Buhari to bring back Tam David West.
He is disciplined, he has the experience and he is an avid supporter of Buhari.
He is the poorest petroleum minister around and he is from the Delta.
His sincerity is unique and special. I think he is a better fit for the petroleum minister slot, compared to ready-made thieves Tinubu is trying to pick.

In fact, it was confirmed by INEC that Buhari only won the election because there weren't enough Igbo available in the contry to vote... Where are all the igbos?

Answer: foreign jails.
Walahi...

PoliticsRe: First Thing First, Buhari Must Stop Tinubu by adekole: 5:21pm On Apr 06, 2015
I see a chain reaction as soon as corruption investigation starts. Everybody must be touched.
There is no room for being selective; if evidence shows that you stole, you must pay.

Nigerians have suffered enough from the hands of these looters.
All of them must be investigated.. This is the only way our votes will truly count.

There is a reason why we elected Buhari and not Babangida.
All corrupt officials, current or past must pay.
PoliticsThe 3 People That Killed Jonathan During The Last Few Months Of Election by adekole(op): 9:30pm On Apr 05, 2015
1. Fani Kayode
2. Ayodele Fayose
3. Patience Jonathan

These 3 entities should have been asked to shut up and stay home.
PoliticsRe: First Thing First, Buhari Must Stop Tinubu by adekole: 8:29pm On Apr 05, 2015
These we know:
1. Tinubu spent big money for the election of Buhari
2. Buhari rejected the idea of Tinubu being his VP
3. Buhari and Tinubu negotiated a deal before they came together
4. Tinubu producing Osibanjo as the VP is part of the deal.
5. Buhari almost lost the election because of his affiliation with Tinubu.
Tinubu was asked to lay low a week or 2 before the election.
6. Rotimi Ameachie and El Rufai do not have any love or respect for Tinubu, but both men are extremely close to Buhari.
7. Tinubu may not be touched as long as he stays clear away from Buhari's way.

My prediction:
Tinubu has been a criminal for a very long time. He has had his way in Lagos for too long.
His greed for power and money is unprecedented, he can not help it. For this reason Tinubu will steal again.
And this is where he will end up being canned by Buhari.
We must not forget that this is not Fashola or Goodluck Jonathan, this is a former military president that happens to be from the north.
The Mullahs will not tolerate Tinubu's antecedents. And it will not look good for the Yorubas eventually.

Sit tight and lets see.

Buhari: I Won’t Condone Looting Of Public Resources
Posted By: THEWILL_Posted date: April 04, 2015In: Headline, NewsNo Comments
BEVERLY HILLS, April 04, (THEWILL) – President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari, has given assurances to Nigerians that he would handle state resources with utmost responsibility and honesty and that he will not condone the looting of public resources.

Speaking while receiving a delegation of the people of his home state, Katsina, who came to congratulate him on his election as President of Nigeria, General Buhari regretted that the citizens had been made poorer by the 16 years of PDP maladministration in spite of the fact that the country received more income in that period than at any other time.

Buhari said savings from his war against corruption would be ploughed into education with the objective of empowering the citizens.

“If you give education to a man or woman, you have empowered them to be productive. There is no better way to empowerment,” Buhari asserted.
The President-elect, who exchanged banters with old schoolmates and kinsmen alike, among the 130-man delegation spoke about his resolve to work with all Nigerians to pull the citizens out of the current hardships facing them.

Buhari also expressed his commitment to multi-party democracy as the best system of government and appealed to all citizens to imbibe courage and perseverance, virtues he said, stood him in good stead in bringing victory to him, after failing three times in the past presidential elections.

The leaders of the delegation who spoke on the occasion included the state Chairman of the Katsina State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engineer Mustapha Mohammed Inuwa; a former Governor of the state, Alhaji Saidu Barda, a leading Muslim Cleric, a representative of federal legislators and a representative of the traditional institutions in the state.

They all pledged their support and commitment to the in-coming Buhari administration and promised to avoid the mistakes of others by imbibing humility and respect for all sections of the country.

Did Tinubu stop Fashola from doing his job ?
You are kidding me, right?
If you think Buhari is anything like fashola, then for sure you do not have any idea of what has just happened to Nigeria.

When you see a rattle snake what do you do?

Buhari is not ashamed or scared to bite anyone when the time is right.

If tinubu is not smart enough to lay low and don't misbehave, without any hesitation he will be cut down by Buhari
PoliticsRe: First Thing First, Buhari Must Stop Tinubu by adekole: 7:10am On Apr 05, 2015
@Dammytosh

Nigeria is bigger than anyone.
Buhari is a slow rattle snake, he will bite when the time is right..

Buhari is focused and determined to work for Nigerians, the people that elected him for the job.
Tinubu is a piece of cake, Buhari will box and have him shipped far away if necessary.

I am confident that no one will stop Buhari from getting his job done.
PoliticsRe: First Thing First, Buhari Must Stop Tinubu by adekole: 6:40am On Apr 05, 2015
As long as Tinubu lays low and set aside his greedy ways, I think all will be fine.
This is not Jonathan or Fashola, this is a former military leader; Buhari will not be pushed or intimidated by Tinubu.
I honestly think Tinubu knows that time has changed, therefore recognizes his limitation.

But stopping tinubu will not be a bad idea. Nigerians have suffered enough.
PoliticsRe: What To Expect during Buhari Administration by adekole(op): 9:36pm On Mar 31, 2015
Power supply alone would have been enough for GEJ to win the election, but he was too mentally lazy and blind to see clearly. And money hungry team he surrounded him with did not make things easy for the poor man.
Jonathan and his wife will now see how Nigerian people function; starting from next Money Jonathan will start seeing less and less followers, Less phone calls and less visitors.

Elected president position is never for ever, therefore, make the best of it before it is too late. President Jonathan, a sitting president that lost will forever be seen as a game changer and a failed leader.
