Go to a uni in your state of origin for higher chance of admission because public schools are so tribalistic

Check this out

So you think it's wise to attend a school for just a semester because it's abroad and in your mind it's fantastic?

That should make tuition $7k per year which is cheaper than. Nigerian private schools
But I'd rather school in a private school than school in Dominica

Let's meet our current final year students from all across Naija.

Please tell us your institution, discipline and the level you are in your final year (Started already, about to start or just about to graduate?) Also level of study, 400 or 500 level

Me: I am just about to start 500level Computer Science ATBU before the ASUU strike and Corona Virus pandemic

What do you mean 500level computer science? Isn't it a four year course?

A student will pay school fees and other numerous levies every year, and yet will be confined to the house because of strike. Why? Can't our fees be used to fund whatever our lecturers and university staff need?

Is it you people's 50k per year fees that will fund ASUU?
I laugh

As cheap as the school is you're still complaining?
Go to public uni na if y'all can't handle the fees
The people in PAU, ABUAD, Baze etc that pay millions, do they come here to lament because of 20k increase in fees?

Business / Re: Can Someone Steal Your Money If They Have Access To Your BVN? by adelnehis(m): 3:17pm On Oct 12, 2020
Ugobest101:

what are your reasons?

They can't steal your money directly

BUT....

They'll be able to open bank accounts in YOUR name which can be used for fraud

They can also take out loans in your name and leave you on the hook to pay

BUT....

Some banks require confirmation before your BVN can be used so you're mostly safe
Sha it's not all banks like that

Startup a laundry business
You can get a washing machine for about 70k
Start with just two
Advertise yourself on Instagram through sponsored posts and put up flyers all over town
Then develop a website too if you want
It'll be easier if you're in a major city like Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Benin, Asaba, Warri etc
The aim is to get customers who want their laundry picked up and dropped off different times of the month
If you can get 10 customers paying 20k, that's 200k a month already
I'm pretty sure startup capital won't pass 800k

Make sure you partner with a logistics company to pickup and deliver the clothes

No. She went to school. She's looking for job actually but we need little time more. My last born is just a year old and she doesn't like creche. She prefers to handle her children till they are 3yrs. She will hit the street for better job. But I want to get her engaged locally before then. You never can tell

She should become an online food vendor on instagram
She can make some small chops, chicken, turkey and other food(Even cake) and sell them on instagram
Initial capital will be very low but ROI will be very high
She just needs to set up an instagram page then run instagram ads and partner with a logistics company to deliver the meals to customers
She will receive her first order in a few days
