Hello guys, pls confirm if studying at canwest will not affect your PR application down the line. I read on the ontario nominee website that only public schools are eligible, so please confirm.

I am like you guys, low cgpa of 3.06/5 and looking for schools to attend but I am now learning that I need to slow down, concerntrate and do deeper research. For example, are you aware of the schools who offer pre-masters program or pre-mba programs or mba foundations if MBA is your ultimate dream course? University of Manitoba has both pre masters and even accepts 2.2, you need GMAT to apply. currently applications are ongoing for august 2018. I missed the international student application deadline for July1st against Jan 2018 start.

TRU and VIU have foundation programmes, for you to apply. Please be aware that MBA programs across canada are all expensive, so if you can't wait to apply to MUN http://www.mun.ca/sgs/MinimumExpense.pdf ($10-12k) or Lakehead university https://www.lakeheadu.ca/current-students/tuition-fees/fees/graduate 9same range) for Sept 2018.

There's a lot of information out there, lets take the time to research, prepare and even get fundings. School life is not easy, let me tell you. It is well.

I know the school is expensive with a small classroom population. You should budget atleast C$35,000 for the MBA program plus C$10,000 living expenses.

I almost applied to the school but I didnt qualify for a MBA program.

Then these are the documents for your application process.
Documents required to apply:
1. Application Form - must be completed, signed and scanned into one complete document and email it to me.
2. Scanned Copy of Transcripts & Certificates - all levels of education starting from high school to highest degree achieved - grade scale or system must be provided.
3. Passport Bio Page - showing details and photo page
4. Letter of Intent - must be original, not copied text from other sources. Please send in Microsoft Word Format only!
5. Resume or Curriculum Vitae - demonstrating work experience, explaining duties and responsibilities.
6. Scholarship Application Form - apply for Academic Excellence (if GPA 3.2/4.33 or above) OR International Student Leaders Award (if GPA is less than 3.2 - write additional personal statement) OR MBA Foundation Grant - only ONE award is given.
7. IELTS/TOEFL or Equivalent - if applicable, must show English proficiency.

I give God all the glory. He did it for me and he will surely do it for you too. Thank You so much Nairaland family, you guys are definitely God sent. Even the 'littlest' contribution helped me in packaging my documents, so no matter how small or irrelevant you think your contribution is, it will be of help to someone out there.

Also, I didn't write a Statement of Purpose because i felt my application was quite straightforward and writing a SOP could result to shooting myself in the leg while trying to explain things that needed no explanations.

You even wanna start calculating the salary......I might be wrong o, but except you're one of those that are on the minister of transport's list you don't need to bother yourself about salaries and emoluments at this point...#TooEarly#
