Visa for family of 5 Did biometric on 10th July (all) MA got visa on the 18th The rest were held on DMC First paid call was on 2nd August Escalated on 3rd August Spouse interview was set up on 14th August After the interview, all the remaining 4 applications were moved to VAC on 22Aug Collection Mail same day and got the visas today 23rd August. Documents submitted: MA all post grad certificates Marriage certificate NIN Birth certificate Passport data page Acc statement same for all Form 1,2and3 I can't remember unless I read through it again. Some are for my kids. No Marriage photos and newspaper change of name uploaded (Note I had them but didn't see any field to upload them, therefore, I felt it was not needed) For partner: Uploaded same thing and failed to upload wedding photos and newspaper change of name. Note: because I failed to proof with more evidence like photos and newspaper change of name, it was difficult to ascertain if my marriage was genuine until the interview I and my wife gave them our Facebook names to check by themselves starting from our dating days to proposal and pre-wedding & wedding day. My own advice is please be real and genuine and also provide all the information that can help ECO decide your application without further delays. For my kids: Nin Birth certificate Either 1 and 2 of the 3 forms above or the other way round. I can't remember now. Hello I have been following your update for 3weeks now, when u mentioned that you got your visa but your 4 dependant are yet to get, thank God duchess as responded to your post, but bro I guess a lot of things were wrong with your application, if u are not using agent u should have asked questions while filling the form and uploading documents, I have not heard of UKVI inviting dependant for interview before, u must have filled something wrong, but thank God they have invited your wife for interview, that is the right time to correct all the wrongs, she should be careful of her words and she should be able to proof that u are her husband. Abeg this one is looking like a different dimension of the UKVI process. I am the MA and I applied with my whole family, wife, 2 kids with my wife and one kid I had out of wedlock in 2008. Note his mother died yrs ago and prior to that time I have taken sole responsibility of him living under my roof. I paid for all his bills, he just finished Secondary school and sat for last Waec. His waec results are excellent. I got affidavits from him mum's father stating he has been living with me and they know about my intention of taking him along with other of my kids. Cause his mom's death certificate was issued from general hospital here in lagos. In short I made sure I obtained everything needed for a child under single parent. Note my current wife takes care of all of my kids and pays all the bills through my naira account. I gave her my gtbank app and password with ATM too. Now I am currently married with 2 more boys aged 1yr 5months, 3yrs and the one I had out of wedlock is 15yrs. We did biometric on 10th July 2023, on the 18th my passport was ready as the MA. The rest are still on DMC till this moment I am typing. So I got an email requesting that my wife come for student interview on the 14th being Monday. My wife is a dependent, what could be the case and what should she be expecting to answer? I have posted screenshot extracted from the email. Also I am requested to respond to the email immediately. Note: during visa application, I didn't know family pictures are needed, I failed to upload it, newspaper change of name I didn't upload too. I have all these here now with me. Should I attach it in the email as I am about to respond to the email for interview? Receipt of rents paid together is here too. Our Facebook pictures posted since dating time till marriage and now are all there with time stamp. Please how best should I respond to the email as I want to use this avenue to give them all the information I didn't upload since. Pictures taken in the hospital during birth are also online and chats we had since I was not in Nigeria for upto 2yrs. I came in last June to apply with them. Initially for Jan 23 Admission Application in August 22 Unconditional admission - Sept 22 Tuition deposit - Oct 22 Nov 22 - School said my payment came late so no more CAS School gave me option to defer admission or ask for refund. Decided to defer to Sept (seemed like a long wait😞) Fastforward to 2023 POF - 18th May to 15th June (29days) Application 16th June - The day Oanda rate shoot up unexpectedly - I was so confused & wished I paid exactly when POF was 28 days matured. Luckily I had other accounts which met the UKVI requirements and decided to use it alongside. Bio (MA and Dep.) - 20th June (VI TLS, Standard, Flexi appointment) Received by DMC (MA and Dep.) - 21st June Empty NSF (MA only) - 21st June 1 Paid mail done, response was application awaiting decision Moved to VAC (MA and Dep.) - 4th July Received by VAC (MA and Dep.) - 4th July Collection Mail (MA and Dep.) - 4th July BRP mail (MA and Dep.) - 5th July Passport received today - 5th July Documents submitted MA *CAS *TB Test *WAEC and First Degree (As stated on CAS) *Transcript * 3 SOA, same name - NGN, USD and GBP, thanks to Oanda Fluctuations *CV, NYSC cert., Employment letters, Reference letter (8 years study gap) *Passport Biodata Page Dependant *TB test *MA POF *Consent to use MA POF *Marriage Cert. & (One Pdf containing about 40 pictures ranging from wedding pictures to few chat screenshot to transfer receipt) *Passport Biodata page Some lessons learnt * I was trying to use Form A to process my tuition deposit when I was running against time, I rushed to use BM at last minute but couldn't meet up the session admission. Pls do what you have to do on time and dont delay. * Do your TB test when you are sure you will get CAS, or have gotten CAS * While Building your POF, have some backup account that can be presented just in case * Someone was advising me to wait for 29 days maturity of POF before applying, Ideally its not necessary, UKVI requirement is 28days. SOA can be more than 28 days, but visa application can be immediately after 28 days matured. In all, I'm glad we are here! I learnt a lot from this platform ehn!  You'll definitely have all the information here to apply and without using any agent. I did DIY. To all prospective UK students. Congratulations in Advance. This testimony will go round.
