ELULU:Your international passport is always regarded as a very important document! The information on your passport is meant to be the same information on your other documents! I really don't think you should have changed your age (ESPECIALLY ON YOUR PASSPORT) because you'll always need your passport for other important documentation! Your age is one of the information that will ALWAYS be checked in your documents! Getting another passport in Nigeria is quite difficult so my advice is you better get an affidavit from the court showing the same age on your passport because it might pose to be a very serious problem for you in the future! Moreover, I hope you know that after applying for your visa, your age will be calculated according to your educational background. Meaning that your age will be calculated from the day you were born, through primary to the University so if something is wrong somewhere, it might serve as a problem! And if it turns out that your age is not the same with your other documents for e.g Waec then you might have to apply for another passport because sincerely how many affidavits do you want to get? and I don't even know how you want to change the age on your transcript!!! (You can try the affidavit option but put it in mind that you'll be taking a risk) This is my own opinion and I really hope this helps All the best! |
Mystique20:if it's the declaration form for your interview, there you go! https://nigeria.diplo.de/blob/1505570/549352489fc88dfdbbd7b307af0f58b4/belehrung-data.pdf And for your second question! No, you don't have to fund your account completely before your interview date, but then you have to fund it quickly after your interview so that it won't delay your visa I hope this helps All this best |
Generous222:According to the checklist, this is what was stated there Every applicant is asked to provide the following mandatory documents (original + 2 copies of each document, unless otherwise specified) after having booked an appointment via our website www.nigeria.diplo.de: Meaning that you take your Original documents along with 2 photocopies. since you'll be taking your Original documents along, you won't be needing certified copies. so just make ordinary photocopies and take along! I hope this helps! For more information, please read the checklist document! |
Tvaddict:Congratulations on your admission! Since you have already been admitted and enrolled in the Bachelor's program, you do not have to give that information at the embassy because it's between you and your school. My advice is to come up with a very convincing answer to give the visa officer when He/She asks you why you're going for another Bachelor's program. The visa you get from Nigeria is just to bring you to Germany. When you finally get here, your school will decide if you'll be enrolled in the Bachelors or Masters program. After seeing your thesis, I expect them to either enroll you into the Master's program immediately or just add more to the ECTS points you need in order to complete your master's program. (so do not be afraid about that, what's happening to you is very normal) So when you're completely settled in and you decide to apply for your residence permit, THAT IS WHEN YOU HAVE TO BE SURE IF YOU'RE DOING A BACHELOR OR MASTERS PROGRAM BECAUSE IT WOULD DETERMINE THE NUMBER OF YEARS YOU'LL BE GIVEN ON YOUR RESIDENCE CARD In order words, being admitted, funding your account/finding a sponsor, preparing for your interview and finally getting a visa should be the most important thing to you at the moment! The rest you will do when you get here This is my one kobo and I hope it helps! All the best! P.S Another advice: when you finally get your visa, ensure you bring your signed project handbook along with you to Germany. Better still, in case you're really disturbed about it, scan your entire project handbook (make sure the signature and stamp on it are clear and visible!) and send to your course coordinator. |

jesujoba001:Congratulations The one for 17,047 is okay. Use that one. Unless you want extra services or protection for yourself then you can use the others. But the 17k option is what most people can afford ![]() You can write out your intended travel date but if you want to freestyle and type and print out. All na same. The most important thing is to pass across the accurate information. All the best |
Naby1:Thank you |
amahmoud:If everything you're saying is true, which is obviously a lie This one you're giving us cold zobo by saying that they gave you accommodation after they cancelled your visa , you be refugee so the Germans are so nice that they will camp someone whose visa was cancelled! For the umpteenth time, this post is for those people who refuse to read but yet keep asking the same questions over and over and over again!!! And they'll never stop asking these questions, which is very annoying by the way! Part 4 is here https://www.nairaland.com/modifypost?post=58760455&redirect=%2F3941544%2Fgeneral-german-student-visa-enquiries%2358760455 For newbies your German school search starts here https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/en The following steps will help newbies (Thanks to CassieV for the tips) Most of the schools in Germany are tuition free even for international students, you only get to pay a certain amount as semester fees say between 100-400 euros and most times the semester fee comes with a semester ticket to aid in transportation in your city or town. However, before you're granted a student visa, you have to prove that you can take care of your living expenses with one of the following means ; 1. Block account: The estimated living expenses for a student in a month is 720euros, when you multiply that by 12 months, you get 8640euros. This is the amount you're required to block in an already opened account with either Deutsch bank, Fintiba or Xpatrio. It is called a block account because you will not be able to withdraw everything at once, only 720euros will be released to you every month. 2. Sponsorship letter: If you have a relative living and working legally in Germany, they can get you this letter. They'll have to visit the alien office in their city and will be required to provide some documents and pay a certain fee. The letter will be sent to you when they receive it so that you can go with it for your visa interview. 3. Scholarship: This is usually the best if you have the scholarship, your visa will be granted in under 2 weeks after interview. So try and look for scholarships you can apply to. Now that you understand the financial situation, let's go into the application process. To search for schools, click on this link https://www.daad.de/deutschland/studienangebote/international-programmes/en/?p=l&q=&fos=0&lang[]=2&fee[]=0&sortBy=1&page=1&display=list filter your search to make it easier, there are English taught courses there. Generally, the very important documents needed to apply to schools in Germany are; 1. Transcript 2. English Proficiency 3. School Certificates (Degree, Waec, etc) However, depending on the school, some other documents needed are as follows. 4. Curriculum Vitae 5. Motivation letter 6. Reference letters 7. GRE test 8. Etcetera.. Visit your prospective school website and find out the documents they need from you. Note: You don't apply with your original documents, you have to make photocopies of them and Certify them in High court or a Notary public. If you stay in Lagos, you can certify at the German Embassy too. You'll have to book appointment for that. For those planning to go for a Bachelors course, you need a 100level transcript from a university to apply for a BSc program in germany. WAEC alone will not be enough and No, OND will not do, you need a HND. For the application proper, it is always important to go through the website of the schools you want to apply to, you'll get a lot of information form there concerning how to apply. Some schools do only online applications, some requires that you send your application documents to them by post after applying online, some you send your documents as pdf to their email address and then you get the uni assist crew. Like I said earlier, it is important to go visit and read the websites. When you get your admission letter, open a block account immediately(that is if you don't already have a sponsorship letter) and as soon as you get your account details, send an email to the embassy requesting for a visa interview date. You need these to get an interview date: 1. Admission letter 2. Block account/sponsorship letter/scholarship letter 3. International passport data page(scanned) Then your Full name and Resident address. Prepare for your interview Go for your interview |
If you read my previous post clearly I never stated that November slot is for summer students, I don't work in the embassy so I cannot give such information I only said and I quote "don't pour sand into the garri of those who are trying to apply for summer" Uncle, student visa is generally a long-term visa. Almost everyone is going to spend at least 2 years studying. Moreover that site has been existing even before I applied for visa interview. It was through that site I booked an appointment for certification. I'm only try to hammer down that you do the right thing but since your mind is made up. All the best Obinnalex: |
Everybody is entitled to their own opinion. I know that already. But if you want to go through that route on your own, you can. But don't mislead other people. If you encourage them to book appointment through that route, how are they supposed to include their location, admission letter, data page of their passport and the details of their blocked account ![]() Because the normal way to book an appointment is to send an email with those details to student@lago.diplo.le and but that is not included in the other route that you keep insisting on. Funny thing is he won't do it oh. Yet you'll mislead another person ![]() I'm done arguing Like I said earlier, A WORD IS ENOUGH FOR THE WISE! Highbeeyajibola: |
Naby1:1.If you're born after 1992 what do you need a certificate from NPC from? 2.Yes you can use a court affidavit 3. Yes you can do it at a federal and state court. just attach your passport photograph and also the head of your family's passport to the form 4. You don't need to explain anything, you can type the affidavit yourself (make sure it's a page). Take it down there pay (it's 500 naira) and get it stamped. And if you don't want to go through all that stress, there are people screaming affidavit in front of the court. They can do it for you just make sure you price very well. Those guys are scammers too. Affidavit is 500 naira, I repeat 500 naira. Don't forget to attach your passport photograph and that of the head of the family in your house All the best! |
Frankie16:Uncle Frankie you book for student visa appointment from this website https://nigeria.diplo.de/ng-en/service/visa/student-research-and-language-course-visa/ Thank you and God bless |
Rosicky7:God bless you for this Rosicky. If them like make them hear, na them know |
Obinnalex:This person is very funny oh. You're saying this because you have never seen Paulinus in action. If you show up with the wrong appointment letter, The way he go take send you back, it will do you like action movie. I have been to the embassy twice The first time for certification and the second time for interview. The first time I went, all the people behind me were sent home. They already have a record of those that are going to show up for appointment and Paulinus will over check it with your passport number. Let me state it clearly that if you do not go through the normal process, that is book for a visa appointment through this email student@lago.diplo.de, you're on your own oh. And let me also remind you that it's stated clearly on their website that there are no available dates anymore so if you go through the other route, that is book for appointment on their website, you think it's not obvious enough that something is wrong somewhere? I'll also tell you that if you're found guilty of getting your appointment through a crooked means, maybe by using another passport number or whatever, you'll be banned Finally, they're future applicants here who are patiently waiting to apply for summer, please don't pour sand in their garri! We're all in this together, nobody is competing with anyone, we're all going to get there at the end, please let's be patient and do the right thing. All the best to everyone out there P. S A word is enough for the wise. If you want to show your childish nature by hurling insults at me, you're on your own oh! |
okafor1989:If it's an application for admission YES if it's for your visa interwiew YES, though some people say it's not compulsory. I added mine to my documents though. I hope it helps. |
