I knew there would be consequences when he (Zelensky) was calling for civilians (untrained) to take arms to defend their land. And he boosted their morals with social media so they can believe they are winning to the point some Nigerians wanted to volunteer to fight for Ukraine. Its so unfortunate anyways.
They should negotiate for peace.

I started my graphic design journey here with a logo around 2017. Initially I wanted to complete the job and get paid in full, but after so many corrections, I asked to be paid 50% before I go any further. The client paid almost 80% and balanced with the remaining 20% when the job was delivered.
I have adopted this model up to this moment and it has been working for me.
I have clients from nairaland since 2017 that I still work for up till this moment and we never had issue and funny part is we've never met before.
Except for Mr Eric and his Gf who I volunteered to work for on a vocational skill training. Mind you this training wasn't free but I did about 12 free design without a kobo around 2019. Since then, they feel entitled to free designs from me which I always decline. Recently(2022) he wanted a design and agreed to pay, he made several corrections/complain (I guess cuz he doesn't want to pay) but later agreed its fine that I should send my account details. Could you belive after more than two weeks I had to message him, he replied he didn't pay me cuz he gave the job to someone else since I didn't do the design to his taste.
In summary,
IF YOU DO FREE DESIGNS TO PEOPLE, THEY WONT COME TO YOU WHEN THEY HAVE MONEY TO PAY CUZ THEY WON'T VALUE YOUR WORK. if it can be free, then its worthless..
As a designer, I will subscribe to the internet to research or download resources for project, I will fuel/maintain generator, the time spent, I bought my pc etc and yet some people want free design.

I messaged you on whatsapp that I am a designer with portfolio sent to you, you replied with 3 wedding invite saying I should quickly do something like one of the sample using one of the templates you sent so that you can invite me for interviews tomorrow. What kind of assessment is that after sending portfolio. And I have to quickly do it to get interviews. If you want a design, we negotiate price and it is done.

Don't think everybody here is an amateur cuz you see some rookie designer here flooding threads.

I had to come here to save other designers their precious time so you don't waste it.

Before now, every device can access my website without error. Yesterday I notice Android devices can access my website while Apple pc and phone cannot.

The error code from Apple device is NET::ERR_CERT_REVOKED

Anything could crash, crypto, naira or any investment. But saving in dollar will be better IMO

I don't have much to say about you and your 8mill, but my advice is you open a dollar account for your bro and save his 6mil there for him, when he is sure of any investment in future, he can do whatever he likes with the money

Timeline!!! May God’s name be praised

First time writer. If you notice my name, you will observe the Canada tag on it. I was denied a Canada student visa in October 2021. It was really devastating because the reason for the refusal wasn’t sensible as I was the sponsor of my elder brother who got his visa July but I was refused based on personal asset and financial status despite having 20m in my account, lands and 4 houses, only to find out in my gcms note they misrepresented the sponsor for my parents meanwhile I was the one sponsoring myself probably because of my age lol as I’m just 25. Anyways I reapplied and still waiting for their response. Fast forward to November, I took the alternative option and started my uk application.

Applied to the university of Sunderland - 5th of November
Got admitted- 9th of November (submitted my transcripts of 4.29 cgpa, ielts and certificate)
Did a walk in tuberculosis test and got it done on the same day 12th of November (just walk in and try your best, there’s no harm in trial, I did it and I got it done)
Tution Payment of 3500 pounds with Citibank, 24hours my telex was out (16th of November)
Sunderland CAS request and questinonaire 17th -30th November)
Sunderland issued my CAS on the 1st of December
Applied on the 2nd of December (Walk in Service paid the 42k for that, Priority, Vi centre)
Transferred to DMC on the same 2nd of December
No NSF mail
No additional documents, No dependant either Passport Collection request 2:pm 13th December 2021 document pick up same day 13th December.

Declared my Usa visitor visa refusal of 2018 and two Canada refusal (visitor and student, 2018 and 2021 respectively).

In all I give thanks to God and I congratulate everyone who has gotten their visas. Special thanks to all those who have contributed in one way or the other for others to have a successful application.

Bank statement of 18million balance left in the account after paying tution deposit (tution is £12,500 paid 3,500 as deposit)
