I heard about this story this morning, if you have more update on it, feel free to share it . A woman selling fish in an area called Popo in Ibadan was said to have found out that one of the fishes she's selling is a yemoja. She was about to roast the frozen fish when the fish started breathing and hair started coming out from the fish. Meanwhile, the woman claimed that when she was small, a prophesy came out that she'll see a strange creature when she grows up and when this happens she should not scream or alert anyone, that this would mark the beginning of her wealth, unfortunately for her, she couldn't contain her surprise when she discovered this creature, she screamed on top of her voice and alerted everyone that was around.

When people gathered around, Her Junior brother took the fish away and the woman has been arrested by the police. I wasn't there, but people that were there gisted, if you know more about this incident or you probably witnessed it, gist us more. Thanks.

Hundreds of residents of Ibadan, Tuesday, rushed out to catch a glimpse of a strange fish which was said to have human parts at Asaka compound area of the city.

The incident happened at Ile Akindele when afish seller noticed the strange creature after removing the wrap of a frozen fish.

Ramota, who was said to be the fish seller reportedly, raised alarm to attract others to the strange sight.
She said, “I went to where we usually buy fishat Kola Eleja, Oke Ado, Ibadan. After I finished, I boarded Okada to my place to prepare the fish for sale.

Before getting the fish out of the ice-pack, weneeded to use knife to remove them and use water to de-freeze. I was shocked to see the frozen fish developed into a living being in the water, the description of which showed half human and half fish. I quickly called my father and some Alfas to see the strange fish”.

The father of the woman, a retired civil servant, Pa Rauf Salawu who corroborated thestory said he had never seen such a thing before.
He narrated his own side of the story saying, “it was around 11am, when I started hearing the voice of my daughter while I was resting on my bed. She was shouting and screaming to the extent that people in the compound were attracted.

Then, I decided to check what was the problem. I took along my Quran and on getting there, my daughter had gone to call another Muslim leader in the neighbourhood.
I saw the strange fish inside water in the bucket . It was strange, how can a fish bought in the cold room develop into human.That I cannot fully explain.”

Due to the crowd, police men from Mapo police station were there to control the crowd.
The fish seller was then taken into the custody of the police. Several calls made to the police were not picked.

My name is Amanda,

Few months later, she sent picture of herself and a guy together at a friend's birthday party. At first, I thought my eyes were deceiving me ; it was my ex ! I recognized him the moment I saw his face. As if that was not enough, that same night, my sister called and gave me another shocker of my life ! She said my ex has proposed and they are planning to get married later this year.

Honestly, ever since I heard this news, I have been very uncomfortable. I called my ex immediately and told him we needed to talk. I expressed my fear and reservation of him courting my sibling considering our past. He said he already knows we are related and that he found out after several conversations with my sister and he even saw a picture of us together.

He said he hasn't said anything yet and that we should keep sealed lips because he's not ready to lose my sister and she's the woman he's prepared to spend the rest of his life with. And for the fact that our relationship was long dead and buried. I felt terrible, but then I still have to be happy for my sister. I accepted his view but I have been miserable. I really need to get this off my chest but at the same time, I don't want to hurt my kid sister. I am mad at myself, I am mad at my life. Nairalanders, what do I do please?

1. Lack of conversation and discussion
People often complain that they no longer seem to talk to their partners. But if you get out of the habit of discussing things with your spouse, you'll end up like those couples in restaurants who have nothing to say to each other except, 'this meal is very nice'.

Watch the news together. Read the papers and then discuss. Save up bits of gossip or information that you can talk about together. One of the greatest joys in a good relationship is verbal communication. Don't lose it.
2. Late night arguments
Lots of couples fear their relationship is in danger when they find themselves arguing at the end of a busy day. This is dangerous because, there's tendency of carrying such an argument over the night, this is not advisable, make sure you settle all your quarrels before you sleep. No matter how late it may be.

3. Possessive mothers
Mothers of either partner can ruin a relationship - if they're allowed to. If you don't nip this kind of possessiveness in the bud early on, it can spell disaster for the relationship.


Couples need to tackle this together. You both need to agree on how much contact you are going to have with your parents and then stick to it.

4. Lack of romance
When we are first together as couples, we tend to be romantic. We ring up just to say 'I love you'. We leave notes for each other to find. Unfortunately, real life can get in the way of romance, and we can find that we've lost the romantic habit without even realising it.

Always kiss your partner before leaving the house. Hold hands when you watch television. Give each other compliments. 7. Lack of effort

8. Infidelity
If one of you has an affair, your relationship will need some serious re-building. All sorts of serious feelings of rejection and betrayal tend to emerge as a result, and getting over these can take a while.


It helps if both partners recognise that there may have been faults on both sides before the infidelity.

9. Jealousy
If one partner is a jealous and possessive person, this can make things very difficult. Assuming there is no cause for the behaviour, such as infidelity, the jealous person really needs to get help to deal with the inner insecurity and lack of self-esteem that are causing the problem.
10. Forgetting to say thank you
Relationships suffer when couples don't show each other enough gratitude. Often, couples get in the habit of taking kindnesses for granted. It's good manners to thank your partner for picking you up from work or for bringing you a cup of tea when you're tired. Saying 'thank you' increases respect between couples, and this is a vital component in any relationship.

I have not replied any sms or spoken to anyone on this development before now and neither have I threatened to sue anyone, I do not know who sent out that sms denying that my marriage is over.

A business man from the eastern part of the country recently got the ruddest shock of his life. The woman he had been married to for four years and the three year old child he calls his own plus the pregnancy his wife is carrying are not his.

The man has a 23yrs old son who was 19 when he married his second wife, after the demise of the first wife who bore him only one son. According to the source, the wife had gone to the doctor to have the pregnncy terminated. The doctor was kinda surprised that his friend's wife wanted to kill their baby when she's still legally married to his friend. So he tried to talk her out of doing so and that was when the wife spilled the beans and told the doctor that the pregnancy is not for his husband but for her stepson. She even went ahead and told the doctor that, she wouldn't have termainated the pregnancy if the husband was in town, but she had to do so, because, her hubby is presently not in the country at that time, where would he tell her husband that the pregnancy is from?

The doctor went further to ask her questions if that was her first child or not. She then told the doctor that the first child also belongs to the stepson. Shame!!!

If you were the husband, May such never happen to us o, but if you were the husband, what would you have done? And if you were the Doctor too, knowing that it's your friend we
are talking about here o, would you have kept mute because it's unprofessional like some people do call it?

I'm going to make my story as brief as possible. I married my wife few years back and Infact she has never been pregnant. But that's not the real story. I've promised myself never to have anything to do with a woman older than I am. Not because of any reason in particular, I just despise the whole idea of dating women Older than I am not to talk of marrying them.

Unfortunately, I told my wife this when we met and because she was desperate to marry me, she lied about her age. My wife is 5 years older than me. She referred to my wife as aunty Kemi, and narrated how close they were, her real age and so many other things my wife actually hid from me. I confronted my wife and threatened her that if she didn't reveal her true age and all that I need to know about her past to me, I am going to divorce her.

That was when she confessed that she didn't tell me her real age because she found out before we got close that I was younger than her and because she didn't want to lose me and that age is just a number she had to lie. Daniel was left with no option than to purnish these two when he found out from aproko neigbours that the two (I mean Queen and Victor) were sleeping with each other right before his dear nose. They said as soon as Daniel leaves for work, and you know Victor is still jobless, always at home waiting for Daniel to bring back home his daily bread. A friend that's feeding, sheltering and I'm sure even clothing him sef, all you can do to pay him back is to be shagging his babe?

So as I was I saying jare, na so daniel heard from a reliable source in the house o, that Queen is always coming around when Daniel isn't home and would leave before he arrives. What she's always coming to do? We don't know.

So Daniel decided to set trap for them, you know how men can be sometimes now, when they're up to some kind of game, they'll become suddenly nice and transparent. What I'm trying to say is that, Daniel told his friend Victor that he was travelling outta town on an assignment. I guess he took that day off at work because he suddenly refused to appear at the office this fateful day. Where he got the acid he used on the two betrayals too, I don't know.

Na so he go hide himself for one of his neighbour's house o, and Devil, wey wan purnish the two of them, not long after he bidded his friend goodbye, Victor took his phone right away and called Queen. That one too, with her long tiny legs, didn't waste time before showing up again at their residence.

Daniel waited for about 30minutes before following her. And funny enough, the aproko neighbour didn't even know he had that kind of sinister plan o, he only thought he just wanted to confirm if he was telling him the truth or not. As the Devil would have it for them that day (cos God no dey that one, lol) Daniel walked into his home and met his friend and lover making love. Guessed they've really missed eachother as them no come waste time at all na. Winks...

In their shock, they could not escape o, so he was able to descend on them very well with the acid he was carrying. He sprayed them so tay, no part of their body was left out of the acid bathing. Their shouts attracted people. After he had done that, he dropped the acid bottle, said nothing and walked majestically out of the scene. We learnt that, it was their neighbours that rescued Victor and Queen. They took them to a nearby hospital before they were finally transfered to LUTH. As I type this story, they lay in pains at the hospital and the police have been alerted. Would you say Daniel went too far?
