Hello all Please i have a question. My sister is currently in the pool as a healthcare professional with a score of 434. Are there any certification she can do that is a few months that will be evaluated as a professional cert. Also is there a chance she can get OINP nomination in the healthcare category. Thank you for your help. |
please can does anyone know if i can use an investment with afriinvest as proof of funds after my denial in june i invested the money and bought commercial papers. the investment matures in December and i was hoping to roll over the investment again. Also how much would be enough for a family of 3 as POF. Thank you for all your help |
Hi all, I came here to ask for advice when my visa was denied two months ago. i will be reapplying as advised and i am in the process of differing my admission. The only available start date is September 2024 for Mohawk college. I need advise on when it will be a a good time to re-start processing the visa application for the September intake. My first semester fees have been paid which is roughly 10,000 Cad. Given that i will be going with my husband and 18 month old son what would you advise is a good amount for POF. thank you all for your help. |
Hi thank you for responding. There actually was no lump sum in this account except a transfer from another of my account of 4m which was a bonus received from hubby’s work. The money was transferred from my current account to a savings account. There was not outflow or inflow to this account over 500k in the duration of the statement. I have quite a few friends whose siblings in canada actually sponsored their education completely and they received their Visas. One of the reasons why I listed my sister as well. Zane2point4: |
This was actually why I added my sister as well because I felt leaving it out was material. I had also done research on caselaw (in situations where visa was rejected based on strong ties) regarding listing a sibling in an application for study permit and judges had in all instances ruled that ties in canada should not be used as a negative evaluation factor. I also wrote a strong SOP as well given that I was a frontline covid healthcare worker the intended course was to build on that. Kenn55: |
Hi thank you you for responding. I actually mentioned that my sister is not my sponsor. She just added supporting letter and also provided her reference letter from work as well as bank statement to strengthen my application. Both hubby and I work (we have both had jobs for more than 5 years) and we included reference letters from work as well payslips for 3 months for both of us. Also tuition for the first session has been completely paid to further strengthen the application as well. zubizareta: |
I am very grateful for your time. I will await the GCMS notes and follow your guidance as I do not know what can be done other than what was done. I also did some research and case law on similar cases the judges had ruled that ties in canada should not be used as a negative factor in visa refusal. I also saw that the JR takes time and my course resumption is September. Are there any demerits to just doing another application and foregoing the JR. I want to be sure I am doing the best thing. Thank you so much for responding. There were no lump sum in and out as this was a long term savings account. There was no inflow amount or outflow over 500k except in December when I made a deposit of 4m into the account and this was bonus from hubby’s office. We submitted proof of employment for myself and husband as well as payslips for us both. The net balance is about 29 million. Thank you again francophone134: |
Thank you so much for responding. I am sponsoring my application. We added my sisters statement only as support and clearly stated that in the application.I also included a letter of support from her. There was no lump sum at all as the account is majorly a savings account so savings go on but just a little withdrawals nothing over 500k went in it came out in the period. Bobomaigida: |
Hi everyone I am new to this post but came across while researching. I received a visa denial from IRCC yesterday morning. Application was submitted May 28th and biometrics was given 8th of June and rejection received 13th of June. The reasons cited were i) significant family ties in canada (my sister and her husband and kids are permanent residents in canada for 2 years. However the rest of my family is here in Nigeria. I submitted her bank statements and reference letter from work as I will be staying with her. She owns her own home and has a very good income. I will also be going without my husband and 14 months old son which I believe are ties to Nigeria. Including my brothers and parents (my mum has a Canadian TRV) ii) your assets and financial situation are insufficient to support the stated purpose of travel. (This i couldn’t understand as my bank statement submitted has a closing balance of a little 29 million Naira with school fees for the first session fully paid. My course is a one year course in digital health as I am an healthcare worker. I also submitted by husbands bank statements and reference letters from work for both of us. I used an IRCC registered agent who is also quite upset at the visa application result and is advising we request a judicial review. I will really appreciate your advice as I am quite confused. I have ordered my GCMS notes as of this morning. But would really appreciate any insights of anyone has experience this and how they overturned it. Thank you. |
