Maneq: What you trying to achieve here. To claim 3 years, 6 months? Maximum points you can get for work experience is 3 years which you already have. This is funny but I'll try, If that contract working experience is sweeting you much to add then, 1.IRCC has this for people like you
full-time at more than 1 job: 30 hours/week for 12 months at more than 1 job = 1 year full time (1,560 hours)
This will be interesting because firstly, your 3 years experience from 2017 at your main job shrinks to 2 years 6 months . To reclaim the additional 6 months that will make you eligible for maximum points for 3 years work experience, I have no idea if IRCC will count that as a direct 6 months but i guess they should because you already have the 1 continuous year requirement
2. To spice things up, If you even claim part time work for the 6 months, which would then mean both offices must also state that in yo letter then,
IRCC Work hours for Part time, taken as 15 hrs/week for 24 months which equals mandatory 1560 work hours for a year experience. Note that if you worked like Jackie during this your moonlighting and did 35 hours/week, its non of IRCC's concern as only 30 hrs max per week will be scored. This definitely means you'll need to tweak the hours to meet 30hrs/week. I guess IRCC will also count this as 6 months like the one prior. I guess
I'll still like for you to try; unlock new levels for us
If you are not trying to claim points or anything, add the 6 months experience in your personal history and leave your main 2017 work THE WAY IT ARE Thanks for the info. My other question is, while working in another organization since 2017, I also took a 6 months job in another while still in my first job. Is it possible that I am working in two places at same time? |

I work in a private organization since 2017 till now, but last year, I also worked in an international organization for 6 months as contract staff in same role as the organization I've been working.
Is it possible to state that I worked 6 months in another firm while working in my main firm? |

olalekan9320: sending wasn't really the issue, Wes wasn't seeing/acknowledging it until the third one . It wasn't sent for verification maybe because it was through etx. Paid in February, the first one was sent in August through DHL, second in September through email, the third in October and less than 14 days after report came out. I don't understand. Did you sent your transcript 3 times? Why? Why through etx and DHL? Why not through 1 |

With thus statement made by Daboll.........-I have a part time experience there that I honestly wasn’t paid for and I don’t want to complicate myself, I want to delete it. Does it mean you must provide evidence of work payment throughout your work period in any firm or org...? |

Debbieeeeeee: They have a new address although sending to the former address won’t invalidate your transcript it just slows the acknowledgement down a bit(read this in an email they sent briefing everyone on their change of address) Yes, I saw the mail. It was sent three days before the mail appeared. And its about three weeks now after the delivery to WES. I was thinking they should have acknowledged it, at least. |

Miredo: It's true. Only NOCs in 0 A or B are acceptable. You can combine NOCs, but the primary NOC must have 1 complete year. Others can be bits and parts to make up for the 3 years. You can't however use skill level C at any point Thanks for your response |

I tracked my transcript sent from school Dec 11 and it has arrived Canada evaluation center and delivered on 15th but the WES website still shows that ... still waiting for your document.
Who has experienced this? Does it take so much time to reflect on the site? |

Hello
I read here on NL that
skill level C will not qualify for the Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program nor SINP. 8431 is skill level C.
How true is that? |

Good morning.
I'm trying to prepare my CV for PNP. Do I have to write the CV like regular Nigerian CV where it includes all various job roles I have done even those that doesn't relate to the one I'm applying in the PNP?
Or I should write to relate to just what I'm applying for?
I'm in the agric field and I have done several roles in the field even those that doesn't directly relate to the one I'm applying for. |

I wrote my IELTS exam 21 Nov, and I have 7 overall on first trial. Thank to you for your help.
I sought his assistance in the writing and speaking aspects. All was done through online. I was skeptical at first cuz I saw the post on nairaland dated 2015. His brief assessment of my essay convinced me he had lot to offer before we had a deal.
I tried looking for a tutor online to assess my essays cuz I thought I have read well and practiced enough to write exam. After Activeman gave a first assessment of one of my essays, then i realised there are lots I need to enhance on. Then we struck a deal. He provided feedbacks on each essay type and provided good guidelines that can assist in achieving every criteria markers look for in essays. I attempted different question types and he assessed all.
I got 7.0 in my writing.
There are some things I know I didn't improve on, my vocabulary, and grammar, thats one of the aspect a candidate need to strive independently to improve. Time limit to exam didn't make me do that.
The speaking aspect he pointed out mistakes I wasn't aware of and thats why people need a one on one assessment. He taught me how to answer questions and not to waste time saying what is out of context. There are something's you may no be aware of while speaking, so a candidate needs a tutor to assess and correct those mistakes.
I got 7.5 in my speaking, though I was unable to answer a question properly cuz it was tricky.
I recommend activeman for your IELTS tutorial. He's straight to the po in, gives you what you new in different circumstances and doesn't waste time on unnecessary things. |

Mmamaroon: You need to first get the job description from your employer of the work you do or have done in the past. Then look for the NOC that the lead statement and duties match that job description from your employer. I dont know what "package 6 months as 3 years" means but one of the jobs must have been continuous for 1 year. Pls refer to page 1 under ELIGIBILITY - skilled work experience for details on this. There are other conditions....hours, pay, skill level etc.
Once you get the NOC number that matches the job description from your employer, you need to go to this link below ....from the SINP website pasted in previous post.... and check what degrees SINP are looking for each NOC.
I don't believe they are looking at specific electives, courses or papers you took during your degree. They seem to be looking for some specific degrees for some specific NOCs.
Pls carefully read page one and the SINP website to avoid errors. I'm no expert on SINP just regurgitating what I have read.

Mmamaroon: For SINP......please refer to their website below..... other applicants who have gone through SINP may also be able to help.
For SINP, your course of study MUST match your work experience and in general, your chosen NOC must match the job duties in the work experience reference letter that you provide.
Note that skill level C will not qualify for the Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program nor SINP. 8431 is skill level C.
I don't know if an MBA covers a multitude of NOCs or only finance related ones.
https://www.saskatchewan.ca/residents/moving-to-saskatchewan/immigrating-to-saskatchewan/saskatchewan-immigrant-nominee-program/applicants-international-skilled-workers/international-skilled-worker-saskatchewan-express-entry Thanks for the insight. Regards degree course matching the NOC, I was awarded a B.Agric as first degree. There's no specific field stated in my certificate that relates to the NOC. My project was not related to the NOC. Though, I offers courses in the university which relates to NOC 2123. My PGD was not related to the NOC as well. Is it possible at all to apply considering I offered courses related to NOC 2123 skill A in my first degree? I also did jobs related to it, though for 6 months but I can package it to be 3 yr |

For saskatchewan PNP, I studied agric as my first degree and have a PGD in crop soil and pest management.
Do I have to apply to jobs related to exactly what I studied in school?
I worked more as an agricultural representative.
NOC 2123, Agricultural representatives, consultants and specialists,
2 – Natural and applied sciences and related occupations
A - occupations that requires a university education.
Also think in of applying to
NOC 8431 General farm worker,
C – Occupations usually require secondary school and/or occupation-specific training.
8 – Natural resources, agriculture and related production occupations
1.I don't know which to go for. The NOC 2123 stated for Natural and applied sciences and related occupations while the 8431 is for Natural resources, agriculture and related production occupations.
2. Also my job experience does not directly relate to my course of study, though I offers agric representative/extension courses in school first degree. |
