Good morning mamas, please where can I get rotavirus vaccine for my son. I missed giving it to my first son and wont forgive myself if I miss it again. The nurse at the health centre I took the other vacciness yesterday told me to go to Lasuth which is too far from me. Please I need urgent response as we are already six weeks and I wont mind taking it today. Any one who has the idea of the price should also state it. Thanks. |

Wow, thank God. Been silently praying for you and refreshing this thread just to see if you have given birth. May God keep your little one for you. Wishing all pregnant women safe delivery and bless all those trying to conceive with the fruit of the womb. tyhgfrdeswscbhf: |
Ask the Gynaecologists (ATG) telegram group for pregnant women. Very good and all questions directed at the doctor get answered. You will also be assigned a doctor that you can chat with any time. After your delivery, you announce your birth and leave the group. Membership of off the group expires after announcing your birth. I joined the group and did not regret it. I learnt a whole lot when I was pregnant and took screenshots of the doctor's teachings and posts and it is still helping me till now. The only thing though is that membership is 5000 naira. Good morning mamas, please my milk just started flowing last night since I gave birth on Tuesday and since then I have just been able to express 30ml. I want to do exclusive breastfeeding and I have tried everything to achieve it. Been taking lactation cookies, lactation yoghurt, fenugreek tea, pap and even done hot breast massage even before I gave birth but for where? I have put baby to breast but its still not flowing well. Please help me suggest things I can take again. Already introduced formula but just want go back to my exclusive breastfeeding. Im really concerned. Please give me suggestions that have worked for you all o. E joor mas. |
Thanks all for the congratulatory messages, I really appreciate. Please, what can I do to have breast milk o. Its been over 30 hours since I gaave birth atnd I am yet to have a single drop of milk. I have massaged the breast with hot water, been drinking lactation tea, yoghurt and cookies even before delivery thinking it will aid breastfeeding immediately as I do not want to give formula at all but I have no choice than to now fallback to the formula. Also, does anybody know where to get the original Mother's milk tea. I used it for mh first child and it was very effective but that was brought for me directly from the UK. The others that I recommended for people and was bought in Nigeria here has been total rubbish so I think the fake is outside too. Any imput is appreciated, thank you mas. |
B.A alert. I gave birth to my charming prince this morning at exactly 5:05am weighing 3.1kg via vaginal delivery. Water broke 1am, got to the hospital 2am and delivered 5:05 am. We are already discharged and at home and are all doing fine. It is also true that women who deliver at government hospitals this time are not paying anything except money for drugs though. E just dey pain me say I don almost pay all my money finish. The balance however was not requested from us. I wish all the remaining team April mamas and other mamas too supernatural delivery. Baby dust to all TTC women. @cappo Patking, Bs coming in later. |
Thank you all for your response the last time. I really appreciate. God bless you all. A family friend who is an Oga at Alausa made some calls on my behalf, come and see response o. The director was called upon and I was swiftly attended to yesterday morning. Was having serious pains at my left waist and back and also vomiting so I had to visit the hospital. Was checked and was told to go back home as I was told I wasn't in labour. Please, anyone who can share effective ways to induce labour naturally? Im already tired. I have walked, climbed stairs and even had sex after over a month last night but nothing. I also have feverish feelings. Please, which over the counter malaria drug can I use tgat is generally safe. Will be 39 weeks tomorrow. Congratulations to our cappo and all April mamas that have given birth, may God bless your little ones. To we mamas that are left, may God make it easy for us. Joy overflow will be ours in Jesus name. |
Someone just sent me the medical director's number. He is currently not picking but the person just assured me that He is a good man that listens well. He said He will address the situation as soon as I am able to get in touch with him. However, I have just been told that Crystal hospital in Akowonjo and Hamkad, U-turn will still accept so I will go before the week runs out. Thank for yoir concern. Goldenheart002: |
Good morning able mamas, please kindly permit me to rant. I was at the hospital (Orile-Agege General Hospital) this morning for my ANC as early as 5:45 am because of the crowd so that I can be attended to on time. At exactly 8:00am, someone came to send all of us home and said we should only come to the hospital when our water breaks or we see blood. Not a single doctor available to attend to us. So many of us are due already. As at last week wednesday, the doctor that attended to me even told me I might give birth before today yet we were all sent back. Someone said she has even passed 40 weeks and she was also sent home. The most shocking is a lady who came for elective CS and was also turned back that they are not doing elective CS for now. She left almost crying and said she does not even know where to go to or which hospital will accept her today. I feel so concerned for her as I type. As for me, I am 38 weeks and 4 days already. What if I fall into labour and there is no water or blood which is the only requirement given to come to the hospital. To also think that I already paid more than 80 percent of my hospital bill at this general hospital. My question now is if it is possible to get a good private hospital that will accept someone at this stage of pregnancy? If yes, can you please recommend? |
How do I get your lactation cookies and can I start taking them before delivery? rofemiguwa: |
The truth of the matter is that it is just a matter of time before nemesis catches up with him. I laughed when I saw him referred to my post as stale and even denied. Somebody's saved money stale. He was supposed to even be the one to install the batteries but He stood us up for good 3 days. He told us on the third day he was already coming only for my husband to drive down all the way from Ajah to meet up with him. He was not done with what he was doing but still left so that He will not be the one delaying him only for him to get home in the afternoon and waited for hours. We called him numerous times but He did not pick. It was around 8 when he finally picked our call that He said He couldn't make it because He was busy somewhere else. I will try to look for the post though its been long to see if I can still see it and I will post here. Told him my husband only believe in brand new batteries hence the reason why I want to be sure ifs fairly new as posted and He over assured me sef. No sense of empathy, told us the instead of calling him, we should go and call the installer to come and do it well. If he is sure it is the repairer, why did He not show up to re-install the batteries even when my husband offered to pay him for the service. Today, those batteries do not last 30 minutes if you have tv and one energy saving bulb on. We have moved on though and even plan to get new set of batteries soon but He should realise that this world is a very small place and you get in folds whatever you give out to people. |
That was hiw the guys scammed me and my husband 80k buy selling us 2 bad batteries. He told us its fairly new and collected 80k from us. We called.him after installation that the battery lasted for 2 hours with only 1 fan on (No tv, No bulb) and He had the mind to tell us that its the person that installed it that did not install it well. My husband then told him that if that is the case, He should come and re-install it and He will pay him for that but for where, he banged the phone on us and spoke to us rudely on top of our money. That particular incident almost caused issues between myself and my husband as He wanted to save for new batteries, I was the one that convinced him to let us buy it after I have pleaded with the Kiekie guy that if He knows the battery is not good, He should let me know but He assured me its fairly new. Very arrogant and full of himself. The day he came to deliver the batteries, my husband was not at home so I begged him to assist me by joining my neighbour to help bring the batteries upstairs, He told me that is not part of his job amd that I should leave them downstairs till my husband comes back which I could not to avoid stories that touch. He watched me carry the heavy batteries up twice, panting heavily and even my neighbour was surprised how a man with conscience will watch a woman carry something that heavy. Would have brought his case here but my husband told me to let it go. dollarnaira: |

H.M.O is the general name for health insurance while the NHIS is National Health Insurance Scheme owned by the Federal government. I was under NHIS before but I honestly think that the best thing is to go for the private HMOs. They are more reliable. My company is Under Sterling H.M.O and is trying to do the Bronze Bold package for us but the package only covers normal delivery. I have decided to either add 60, 000 from my personal purse so as to be under Silver Special or 100,000 to be under Gold. (Plan covers family of 6 for 1 year). Benefits depend on the plan that you are under, what your company is willing to pay and what you are willing to add. Sterling's Platinum package is as high as 400,000 a year for family and 100,000 a year for individual. I also plan to register at Orile Agege General hospital next week as I am Team April and I have not even started antenatal. Please mamas who have used Hamkad hospital, I will appreciate your honest opinion about the place as I only chose it based on proximity to my house. Dont know if its a good hospital. N.B. For those castigating @Mummy4Life, @shadow88 clearly asked for advice against her next pregnancy and I think that was what she responded to. @Shadow88, may God comfort you and make you smile soon. quoteor4452257]@mummy4life is HMO the same thing as NHIS? husband want to register me under NHIS to save hospital cost[/quote] |

Good afternoon mamas in the house. Please I went to get Fansidar from the pharmacy for malaria prevention but I was given this. Was told it's the same drug that Swipha took over the company and renamed it Swidar. Also, it was not recommended by any doctor but my pregnant friend. I want to know if I can go ahead to use it. I am 26 weeks gone.
