Op.. I would advice you cut down on your sugar, do not sit for too long and make sure you do a lot of walking. Then try intermittent fasting for some time.. Your testorone levels seems to be dropping..

Religion / Re: OPINION!! A Worker Is Not Suppose To Put Below 1,000 Naira In An Offering Box... by Adex001(m): 1:42pm On Sep 10, 2017
gemale:

Op your aim is noble but your method is not too good IMO. You can't try to enforce generosity. It should be of free will. An offering to God should not be pegged at any amount. It should be as the Spirit moves. The fact that you give a million should not make you think you're a better Christian than those who gave 1 naira. Can you remember when Jesus was with His disciples in the temple & people were giving alms? He told them the widow who gave 2 copper coins gave more than the people gave bags of gold. God isn't like man who judges based on quantity.
you've said it all... Don't mind the materialistic OP. I will rather keep my money to myself than to put 1k for offering... They say, cut your coats accordingly to your size...

Morning guys pls I'll love to know for someone who doesn't have any basic background on programming, codes, javascript & the likes on computing; do you think I can thrive in Andela with the possibility of catching up or you just advise me in the negative?
Most people applying to andela are novice. Even if you have prior programming experience, you are still a novice since it's not only your technical skills andela is looking out for.. So my brother, take a deep breath, Ok, a deeper one, now slowly and go through the andela curriculum! You can too... #shalom

Morning bro.The bus from iyana ipaja to oshodi is a straight one. When you alight at bolade/under bridge, climb the overhead bridge(PLEASE DON'T CROSS O,KAI will be there with their trucks to arrest offenders). You will see buses beside PZ going to onipanu, yaba and co.Board the former (onipanu,#50),alight at the bus stop, trek down and climby the bridge,I think EPIC towers should be on the other side(it's a new acquisition by Andela).Hope this helps and good luck!!!

hello everyone! I need directives on how to get to Andela EPIC tower from Iyana Ipaja? or Oshodi? Thanks.
kidaby:

It would be better to ask from trustworthy neighbours or people around you in Ketu for the fastest route. Show them the address.
I can only give directions from oshodi but I'm not sure that's the fastest route. Take a bus going to oshodi from Ketu. From oshodi, ask sellers or people in the motor park where to get bike to ilupeju. Tell the bike man you are going to mutual benefits assurance building, the one with sterling bank signage, ikorodu road or town planning. Its just 100 naira from oshodi. Good luck
thanks

they should get back to you in 1 week interval. Its not about increasing the study pace, i think its all about getting thorough understanding of the materials. It's not really easy though. #shalom

Thank you for applying to Andela!

As you strive to become a world-class technologist, Andela is committed to providing you with the tools you need to advance your knowledge and to demonstrate your growth.

Andela has recently partnered with Qualified.io, a leading technical aptitude software, to improve our candidate evaluation process. We have been moving our resources towards this platform based on our belief that it can provide a more reliable indicator of fit for Fellowship and, as we navigate the transition, ultimately result in a better candidate experience.

You may have received the Proctor test and even started to take it - kindly stop taking the Proctor test. We will send you a new test link via Qualified by May 17th, 2017. In order to be considered for this cohort, you must take the Qualified test.

The content and assessments on these new platforms remain directly linked to the Andela’s Curriculum at curriculum.andela.com as well as our open source on Github.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to constantly improve our processes, like you we always have plenty to learn and we look forward to your feedback at nigeria.apply@andela.com.

Mr volts, how is it going over there with the bootcamp.?
Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Andela: IT Training And Job by Adex001(m): 8:14pm On May 12, 2017
JackOfAllTrades:

Seconded

Also, I would really advise you guys to get some hands-on experience with programming, I.e while waiting for Bootcamp use the knowledge you have gathered to build some mini web applications Like Note taking application, to-do application the experience you will get from these exercises will help you immensely during Bootcamp, learn to use Node especially, Git & Github, Express framework for Node you will be glad you did, this is just to mention a few.
voltz:
For those interested in knowing what goes on at the boot camp should read blog posts of the campers at medium.com. Each camper is required to write his/her experience throughout the home clinic. A Google search of 'andela bootcamp medium' would bring up something. Good luck to current home study applicants.
guyz, thanks so much.. Those informations are really helpful to us.. Keep up the good work.. The struggle starts from when you are given the proctor link.. I get it.. Brilliance is evenly distributed..
