Politics / Where Was This Biafra Craze When Jonathan Was President? by Adextaiwo48(m): 10:19am On Oct 26, 2015
Which Comes First? The Jonathanian Or The Radio Biafran? I bet you have asked this question too. It can’t be denied… I checked a whole bunch of actual names. I found many of the same names that used to say, “GEJ till 2019”, are now the same names saying, “Biafra or death”. But the topic is, which comes first, the chicken or the egg. Thankfully I have been listening to Nwannekaenyi Kenny Okwu- Kanu who goes by the stage name, “Nnamdi Kanu,” for quite a bit; assigned by my organisation [ENDS] to monitor his terror potency as part of our primary mission to combat old and prevent new terror in Nigeria. Before the station re-dedicated itself for instigation of full terror against the new government, Radio Biafra was a Jonathanian bully organisation. In the beginning days and till late 2014 when Nnamdi Kanu recognized that Jonathan was bound to lose, all Radio Biafra did was prop-up PDP candidates and officials and threaten death on Muslims and APC candidates and their supporters. There’s tons of such recorded episodes. Radio Biafra’s PDP Campaign And Opposition Party Intimidation Nnamdi Kanu threatened Rotimi Amaechi when the then Rivers state governor picked up ‘arms’ against Goodluck Jonathan; that period when Jonathan made 16 greater than 19…before APC was born. He threatened and promised to kill Rochas Okorocha. He promised death and ordered his members to harass and try to kill Chief Sylvester O. Dimunah for converting to Islam. This was all Radio Biafra was. His words were as clearcut, cold and blatantly pro PDP and Jonathan as can be seen in this excerpt from a facebook post he made: “DEALING WITH APC SUPPORTING SABOTEURS IN THE BIAFRAN STRUGGLE …There will be no mercy, no pardon, no forgiveness. All traitors must die and so too their families. This nonsensical disease of Igbo saboteurs springing up all over the place in the name of having a different opinion on Biafra liberation will no longer be tolerated especially those who claim they are Biafrans but are supporting APC or APC candidates.” -Written by Nnamdi Kenny Okwu Kanu, owner RadioBiafra, January 5th, 2014 on Radio Biafra facebook. In fact at a time when Jonathan’s government was so hopeless to the international world and where the administration-supervised deadly campaign against the northeast was so glaring with Boko Haram/Daesh in Nigeria successfully conquering 90% of Borno state and also capturing the top half of Adamawa state and much of Yobe state, Radio Biafra was strongly for Jonathan and his army chief, General Azubuike Ihejirika despite them both facing increasing global condemnation for the pogrom in the north. Radio Biafra for its many years openly drummed up Igbo support for the PDP-Jonathan-led government and terrorized the opposition. You must realize that as you can hear in this recording of Nwannekaenyi Okwu-Kanu (Nnamdi Kanu) that I made at the time, Nwannekaenyi said Goodluck Ebele Jonathan was Igbo, his Igbo brethren [https://www.youtube.com/watch? v=EbNCBllNiWM]. Also recollect that General Azubuike Ihejirika is the man that Boko Haram negotiator, Stephen Davis accused of being a sponsor of Boko Haram. Jonathan was an Igbo president for Radio Biafra and in him and with his policies they were well pleased. Till today, Radio Biafra still holds its support for PDP governors left in the south. See their tweet campaigning for mega corruption accused former PDP governor Godswill Akpabio just this week. Background Of The Jonathan-Ihejirika North Pogrom, Destruction of Nigeria’s Military We recollect that General Azubuike Ihejirika was the head of the army for the four years that Boko Haram had unprecedented territorial success, capturing 20 of 27 local governments in Borno, then with public uproar, Ihejrika clears them back while killing hundreds of Borno youth in careless military ops that were as bad as the terrorists and got him Amnesty International condemnation records; then he steps back again to allow Boko Haram capture the 20 local governments again, and so on in a continuous no-strategy cycle to eradicate the northeast of human life. It was a pogrom and it led to the definition and entrenchment the official deadliest terrorist group in the world that killed over 100,000 north-based people and displaced over 2 million, especially farmers, leading to a catastrophe beyond proportions. We recollect that it was General Ihejirika that the US accused of amassing billions of dollars meant for equipping the military via the Boko Haram pogrom which allowed for stupendous military budgets that were diverted under him and Commander in Chief Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. We also recollect that General Ihejirika was a mani beneficiary of the dividing up of lands meant for military barracks’. The Nigerian military was being purposefully undermined and depleted under Jonathan and Ihejirika while certain civilians were being given Nigeria’s arms and military hardware budget cash to fund private armies. Tompolo was one such individual who was given billions to be a so-called paramilitary force in the south south to “defend Nigeria’s waterways.” It is recollected that at this time oil theft rose to unprecedented levels in Nigeria’s history, suggesting that the funding of Tompolo’s southern army was not for what was portrayed. My Debate With Nwannekaenyi Okwa-Kanu On Why He Campaigned For Jonathan In cogniscance of the above background, you will understand why at the time I was frustrated seeing people who pretended to be freedom fighters using their platform to campaign for Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and the continued anti-north pogrom and deliberate destruction of the Nigerian military under army General Ihejirika’s watch. Jonathan was so bad and dangerous to Nigeria and west Africa as a whole, I did not mind Ihejirika seizing power for him. Yes, when we look back at Nigeria’s military take overs, and history of slightly longer northern rule, the north (80% of Nigeria’s land mass) did not rule for 10 more years than the south because they were elected into power, but because they seized power on the claim that the administration in charge was recklessly corrupt. Kaduna Nzeogwu had attempted the same but possibly when he massacred many prominent Nigerians especially northerners in his attempt, it flopped. Northerners however sacked fellow northerners in power via coups on the claim of doing good for Nigeria. We have even voted one such ex-military ruler as our current president because I guess we appreciated that he was really good and was for good, and wholeheartedly forgive him for the coup. We are as it appears free humans who like progress unrestricted and not slaves to western political democracy per se. So now a southern “Igbo” was president and General Azubuike Ihejirika was in charge of the army. Why did Ihejirika not do something to save Nigeria? I challenged Nwannekaenyi, aka “Nnamdi.” “Why do you support Jonathan and Ihejrika with their hopelessness and pogrom?” I asked him. “Should Ihejirika not sack Jonathan for us? Why do you support Jonathan?,” I pressed on Radio Biafra, under the fake name “Smart Alec.” Nwannekaenyi Okwu-Kanu defended the PDP president as his person. It was clear Kanu was an arm or sponsored by Jonathan. Nwannekaenyi said Jonathan was the only president that set up a sovereign national conference. I called his BS. Several identical conferences had been set up in the past and there was nothing sovereign about this conference where certain references had been banned, I told him. I am happy I recorded this debate and evidence of what Nwannekaenyi Okwu-Kanu truly is/was [
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbNCBllNiWM]. He was Jonathanian through and through. The Jonathanian comes before the Radio Biafran, apparently. As Jonathan Loses, Radio Biafra Becomes Agitator It was only when the permutations were poor and it was glaring that Jonathan would loose as Nwannekaenyi started mentioning on his broadcasts that “Biafra or death” started coming up. Biafra or death is the Jonathanians’ plan B. And while these masters, Jonathan, Ihejirika, Nwannekaenyi Okwu-Kanu and the like have tremendous material gain of these various schemes, it is the gullible youth followers that one must pity as they mumuishly follow the chicken and the egg and rubbish perhaps worthwhile and widespread legitimate causes for true federalism, independence and self determination. Jokes Etc / How Justifiable Is This?..(must Read) by Adextaiwo48(m): 10:04pm On Jun 01, 2015
On the first day God created the cow. God said,
"You must go to field with the farmer all day
long and suffer under the sun, have calves and
give milk to support the farmer. I will give you a
life span of sixty years."
The cow said, "That's a kind of a tough life you
want me to live for sixty years. Let me have
twenty years and I'll give back the other forty."
And God agreed.
On the second day, God created the dog. God
said, "Sit all day by the door of your house and
bark at anyone who comes in or walks past. I
will give you a life span of twenty years."
The dog said, "That's too long to be barking.
Give me ten years and I'll give back the other
ten."
So God agreed (sigh).
On the third day God created the monkey. God
said, "Entertain people, do monkey tricks, make
them laugh. I'll give you a twenty year life span."
Monkey said, "How boring, monkey tricks for
twenty years? I don't think so. Dog gave you
back ten, so that's what I'll do too, okay?"
And God agreed again.
On the fourth day God created man. God said,
"Eat, sleep, play, have sex, enjoy. Do nothing, just
enjoy, enjoy. I'll give you twenty years."
Man said, "What? Only twenty years? No way
God! Tell you what, I'll take my twenty, and the
forty cow gave back, and the ten dog gave back
and the ten monkey gave back. That makes
eighty, okay?"
"Okay," said God. "You've got a deal."
So that is why for the first twenty years we eat,
sleep, play, have sex, enjoy, and do nothing; for
the next forty years we slave in the sun to
support our family; for the next ten years we do
monkey tricks to entertain our grandchildren; and
for the last ten years we sit in front of the house
and bark at everybody.

This has got to be one of the worst injury you've ever.
According to MTO, the man fell from his window, and landed
on a metal rod. Thankfully doctors were able to remove the pole
and the man survived. He is expected to make a full recovery.
But you won't believe where the rod pierced.

Politics / Buhari: ‘A Man Called Upon To Be A Hawk Must Catch Chickens’ by Adextaiwo48(m): 3:43pm On May 28, 2015
Muhammadu Buhari, who will be sworn in on Friday as Nigeria’s
new president, is a one-time coup leader who once ruled Africa’s
most populous nation with an iron fist.
But he has undergone a remarkable transformation from military
general to as he calls it a “converted democrat” whom many see as
the solution to Nigeria’s many problems.
His election victory over President Goodluck Jonathan two
months ago was the first time power had changed hands to an
opposition party at the ballot box in Nigeria’s turbulent political
history.
Yet commentators say he will still need to delve into his army past
to tackle rampant corruption, Boko Haram security concerns and
economic troubles over the next four years.
“For him to succeed in tackling these knotty problems, he will
need to behave like a dictator in spite of the constitution, ignore
criticisms and keep abay sycophants,” said one former army officer
who took part in Nigeria’s first military coup in 1966.
“This is the time for him to bear his fangs against graft,” added
social commentator Tokede Williams. “A man called upon to be a
hawk must catch chickens.”
– Past versus present –
Buhari, 72, has already pledged the corrupt and corruption will
have no part in his administration and that he intends to lead by
example.
Unusually for a Nigerian leader, he did not accumulate much in
the way of spoils during his 20 months in charge of a military
regime from December 1983.
The devout Muslim, who has had to fend off claims from
opponents that he is a religious zealot, is known to have only one
simple bungalow in Daura, his home town in the northern state of
Katsina.
He also took out a bank loan to pay the 27.5-million-naira
($136,000, 123,000 euro) fee just to contest for the
presidential ticket for his All Progressives Congress (APC) party.
In office, his conduct will be closely watched for signs of excesses
from his previous time in power that notably saw a crackdown on
“indiscipline” and corruption.
Critics of the regime and political opponents were thrown in jail,
including the Afro-beat music legend Fela Kuti, who was known
for his outspoken lyrics.
Umaru Dikko, a former minister to the elected president Shehu
Shagari that he overthrew, was found drugged in a crate on a
plane at Stansted Airport, in an attempt to smuggle him back to
Nigeria.
Critics of Buhari, particularly outgoing President Goodluck
Jonathan’s Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), even suggested:
“Once a tyrant, always a tyrant.”
“At his age, it is always difficult for somebody to change his
normal way of life overnight. A leopard doesn’t change his spots
suddenly,” said one lawyer close to the incoming administration.
“However it all depends on those guiding him in office. Buhari is
used to the military command structure and the tendency to be
autocratic will always be there.”
Softly spoken Buhari himself has rejected the description of
“dictator” and vowed to operate “under democratic rules”, without
conducting a witch-hunt against the previous administration.
“Let’s put the past behind us, especially the recent past. We must
forget our old battles and past grievances and forge ahead,” he
said in his acceptance speech on April 2.
This month, he announced he would no longer be referred to as
“General Buhari”.
– ‘Messianic zeal’-
Buhari’s previous time in power ended in a bloodless barracks
coup led by Ibrahim Babangida in August 1985.
He slipped out of public life but returned as head of a government
agency, the Petroleum Trust Fund, bankrolling development
projects with additional revenue from oil sales.
At the agency, he again showed an autocratic but effective style.
“He is not very communicative, he is reticent but quite
knowledgeable without flaunting it,” said Ayo Banjoko, a Lagos-
based political analyst.
“He is imbued with a messianic zeal. He has a rigid and
intransigent disposition and he believes this country must and
should be purged of its ills, especially corruption.”
Buhari’s military background and previous role as a northeastern
governor have seen him viewed as best-placed to tackle the Boko
Haram insurgency that has killed 15,000 since 2009.
Last July, he narrowly escaped death after a suicide bombing on
his car as it travelled through the northern city of Kaduna. Many
blamed the militants after he had previously criticised the group.
Buhari is divorced from his first wife Safinatu, with whom he had
five children, and married Aisha, 44, in 1989. They also have
five children together.
