I called the Carl care agent and she said that they don't sell batteries, that I should buy from any phone dealer. Like I explained previously, I bought a battery from slot last month and the battery does not last up to 3 hours on normal usage which is not normal. I don't want to just go to another store and buy a fake battery. Please where can I get an original battery for my tecno y6. Will omegathron be a better option?

Also, I was told by one of the phone sellers that I won't see a battery that would pass the genuineness test, is that true? Because I initially insisted on not buying a battery that failed the genuineness test on the site, until I finally gave up. If I get to omegathron, will their battery pass the test?

Thanks. I am in Benin. When I called the Carlcare agent here, I was told by the agent that you guys don't sell batteries. She asked me to get a battery from omegathron in Benin. When I got there, they said that they don't have it in Stock. So I decided to go to several phone dealers to check for the battery but none of the batteries I saw passed the genuineness test on the tecno site. I finally decided to get the battery from slot because I felt they should have genuine batteries.
Although the battery did not pass the genuineness test either, but I decided to buy it because I felt since slot is a tecno dealer, it should be original.
So what do you think? Was the battery a fake because it did not pass the genuineness test on the tecno site. Also, should I follow the instructions of the Carlcare agent and go get a battery from slot and will I be sure of getting a genuine battery

Morning house. I need advice on what to do. I use a Tecno y6 phone. I have been using it for almost 2 years. The battery life became so poorrecently, so I felt maybe the battery is the cause, and the battery also swelled up.I felt buying a new battery would solve the problem, so I bought a battery from slot. However, the battery life with this new battery is still very poor. It takes about 2 to hours to go from 100 percent to zero percent, which is very abnormal. My phone normally lasts almost a whole day before this problem. I have changed the operating system, yet no difference, I used privacy guard to stop wake up and other battery zapping stuff, yet the phone cannot lastup to 3 hours.I need advice, could the new battery be fake? Do I go get another new battery or could the problem be internal, maybe hardware or something. Thanks
